We were very unhappy with the work done by them. Our tile floor was not smooth and they just didn't install it correctly. You cannot walk on it without stubbing your toe and that is not good. The backsplash and the granite were nice but the tile floor was not done very well at all. They didn't put up the barriers to protect the house from dust even though I had told them and there was a lot of dust. They said they were coming but a week or two went by before they showed up and my wife and I were really frustrated with them. They were not responsive or punctual. There were several times when they told us they would be there but they didn't, and then they were late. They were professional but they didn't come on time. They had a big machine to take the tile out and I think that it had an electrical problem because they were drawing power in the house and it knocked out our power to the spa. I didn't notice till about 2-3 weeks after they finished and realized that my spa was cold and the power was down. I told Justin about it but he never came back to fix it. The price was good and they had given us the best price. It was a good deal to have for the tile, the granite and the backsplash, and they also did a portion of the fireplace. He is a younger guy and may be okay in time but I just cannot recommend him right now at all to anyone.
Description of Work: Padilla's Tile & Stone put in tile floor and installed granite. They also did the backsplash and a portion of the fireplace.

His quote was reasonable but I just found somebody else who would do the job for a much lower price. I bought all the material and the labor was $1600. I was all set to go with him since I liked him. I also liked everything that we talked about. However, I got another offer at the last minute. I was very satisfied in talking to them. He was a little bit slow in getting back to us with the quote because he was busy but he was good. He came out right away for one appointment and there wasn?t any need after that. So he was on time for one appointment. There was very limited amount of knowledge to judge him. I would use his services in the future if his price is right.
Description of Work: I received an estimate from Padilla's Tile & Stone about two and a half weeks ago for installing new tiles for making an old fiberglass shower into a tile shower.

Great experience. Justin is a professional in all areas. Was always prompt and his workers were also prompt. Shared ideas with us and helped us with visualization. The crew was particulary savvy when it came to leaving us a "livable" area each day as they moved things around the house. We also had other crews working on pumbing and kitchen stuff and they worked very well with those professionals. We are already thinking about updating our bathroom showers and counters and will contact Justin again. He and his crew were absolutley great! Update: About a month after I wrote the above we started to have problems with Padilla's work. And, as I've said, he (they) never ever honored their promise to rectify the situations.
Description of Work: Tiled most of the downstaisrs of our house. Also, tiled two bathrooms. Had almost 1,000 square feet to tile. Tiled with 20' x 20" tiles. Also created accents with some 1" tiles, including a tile design in the foyer and retiled our fireplace too. They also removed all the old carpet, tile and baseboards and put in new baseboards that we chose. Update: We started having problems with some of the tiles falling off and grout eroding from between tiles. We had recommended them to neighbors and while they were working in the neighborhood we asked them numerous times to come over to our house. we were always told that someone would come and deal with the issue, but NO ONE EVER CAME. We called and left messages, we talked with them personally and explained our frustration, but each time after telling us they would handle our issues, they would NEVER, EVER SHOW UP. NEVER.
