I am a 76 year old senior citizen who was unexpectedly forced to move from Sacramento to Tracy, California. Over the years, I have moved across country, to Hawaii and back, with innumerable moves both interstate and intrastate. There have been some good movers, some mediocre movers, and some horrible ones. However, I have never had a more pleasant experience than I just had with Make Your Move movers. From my first contact (based on reviews I read) to the final move, I had an experience beyond compare. The office staff was friendly, professional, and explained all details and fees clearly and concisely. There were no hidden fees or last minute surprises. On the day of my move, the movers (Rick and Jabari) arrived promptly at the time promised, 10 a.m. I expected them to be a little challenged as I had two flights of stairs in the first house and a single flight of stairs in my new home. NOT A PROBLEM! They got to work immediately and astonished me by not dismantling two big pieces of furniture (a futon sofa bed and a solid wood bed frame, but moved them intact so as not to damage the integrity of the pieces by taking them apart and putting them together again. I have never had movers who belonged in the World's Strongest Man competition! Once they arrived, it was like clockwork. Not one item was damaged or broken. No walls were scratched. Everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. By the time they left, I knew this was my new home to enjoy. The pricing was extremely reasonable in this day and age of Covid and people jacking up prices just because they can. I don't plan on moving ever again, but if I ever do, the first and only company I will contact is Make Your Move. An extraordinary family-owned business that represents every reason to support small businesses with true ethics and professionalism.

Very well- movers were fantastic hard workers and did everything I needed as I am disabled. The price was reasonable and they were very hard working. The office foliks were also super. Very good company and highly recommend.

I called three companies to price and schedule a move that included the company packing many of the items. I was moving a very cluttered and large 3 bedroom house and two car garage used mostly for storage. The whole thing was going into storage. I had only a limited time to move and needed to be out on a specific date. I had only found 3 companies that met my requirements in my area. I was only able to actually talk to a human being at one company, Make Your Move Folsom. I was only contacted by email by one of the other companies and never heard from the 3rd. After talking to Linda at Make Your Move I was given a rough estimate that clearly outlined, hourly rate, gas, travel time, supplies, and an estimate of how many people and how much time it would take. Comparing this with the email estimate I received from the other company, who was less clear on what the charges consisted of and was already almost double what Make Your Move was giving me, and paired with the fact that the second company never actually called me or talked to me, it was all email forms, no human contact at all, I decided on Make Your Move. I was contacted several times before the move to make sure we all understood what was being requested and what would be done. The day of the move, the men arrived and we began the process. The men were very professional, courteous, and made sure, every step of the way, that they were doing as I wanted. We finished earlier than expected, and there was not a single hitch. The cost was just about what we had estimated. My only surprise was that the men were actually contractors to the Make Your Move company, but when they explained it and that the men usually got a $125 tip, each, I gladly paid it, as they had preformed admirably and within the perimeters I had set. This is definitely who I would recommend if you are making a large move in the North Valley area of California. Thank you all for making my move as stress free on your end as possible😁

I am so happy we used Make Your Move as our movers. They were awesome! the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They busted butt and got the move done pretty quickly considering. Leading up to the day of the move, the customer service was wonderful. It was easy to get ahold of someone to ask questions. Overall, I will be recommending this company to friends and will be using them again when I move.

Make Your Move is the right move! No hesitation necessary. As a first time home buyer, from the first quote to the final review we had our hands held through the whole process to ensure quality service. The team in the office and the moving crew knew exactly what we needed and had the whole thing planned before start time. All of our appliances and valuables were shrink wrapped and protected professionally and delivered with care! I will always recommend this team! You are told what is expected and the whole process was seamless.

They are very punctual, friendly, and professional. They were accommodating and everything was moved in a quick and efficient way. The move was 2 hours and the driving distance was 35 miles.

I am on my 5th move with Make Your Move Folsom. Calling Kevin was the best decision I could have made. The team took the stress, worry, and hassle out of everything. The team always shows up, handles everything with care, and moves me quickly and professionally. I am moving to Colorado, and I knew this move would be a little different for me as I needed to move some stuff to storage and pack up a uhaul to transport myself - the team did it all & made it so so easy! My family has also used Kevin and his company in the past, I remember the first time that I called Kevin for a quote, he asked me a few questions and quickly remembered details about my family and previous moves. Kevin cares about his clients and is very customer service oriented. Since my last move, he has expanded his business and now has a great team working customer service in the office. I have enjoyed talking to Linda and Erin, who got me all set up for this last move. Sadly, I am moving out of state, and this was probably my last move with the team, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family in the greater Sacramento area!

The BEST moving company! Used them once before and just used them again for a second move. Both times were very personable and quicker in time than originally quoted. Great attention to detail and taking personal care of my belongings. They make moving super easy and so much less stressful. The ladies on the phone are very friendly and professional. They had an opening earlier than my scheduled date that worked with my moving needs and made my move happen even sooner. Very grateful!

Excellent service with great pride and professionalism. They handled our furniture as if it were their own. Packed up everything secure and well protected. Best worry free move we have done before and will definitely call them next time.

It went perfect! These guys are lifesavers! I scheduled my move with Make Your Move for a Wednesday, however, not their fault, the county didn't record so we had to reschedule last minute for the following Monday (Memorial Day) and the hottest day of the year! They came and finished on time as requested! I have to give it to them, I'm so grateful they let me reschedule last minute without charge and we appreciate no hidden fees, what they quoted is what I paid. Great customer service, I had great communications with the staff before, during and after, they were so professional. Lastly, I have to give kudos to the team of guys who worked so hard to move a storage full of property to our new home without any damage on a holiday and on the hottest day of the year. You hardly hear of this kind of service anymore!

They cancelled the contract 3 days before the service. They are unreasonable , unfair , unreliable . Do not trust them.

They were great! I used Make Your Move four years ago. It didn't go as planned because I wasn't prepared. I didn't get help packing from friends or family. I was happy to find out Make Your Move will help pack you for a small additional fee. I really needed it and appreciated it. I am using them again next month.

My move went smoothly, no issues & nothing broken. The guys were very professional, worked hard, non stop & wrapped all of my items very securely. If they weren't sure of where items went they didn't hesitate to ask me. They were so comfortable to work with & made sure I was satisfied with everything.
