I won't go anywhere else for anyone because they're great cheaters. I just had so many headache with so many different plumbing companies you wouldn't even want to go. Domco, I found them after like five different very bad experiences with plumbers. For a simple fix that I couldn't have done myself, the other is wanting a thousand or two thousand dollars which is ridiculous, so Domco came. It was a water main break and it was a good experience. I've been using them for a couple of years. It was December of 2014, I had a water main break and I called several different companies to get estimates and they were probably the most reasonable and I decided to go with them which I'm glad I did because they were upfront and very good place. I wouldn't call any other plumbing place. They were quick to respond. They were very polite. They're quick to get back to you. They got the plumbing to both my houses for a couple of years ago. It's cool. They'd give you a good price. They're good, they're honest and they have integrity.

Excellent Service!! We discovered a waste water back up at our home on a hillside in El Dorado Hills. The Domco team diagnosed our problem and performed the necessary repairs to get us back in service. While performing the repair Robert went over and beyond the call identifying a related issue that needed to be addressed by me as a homeowner. I greatly appreciate that type of support from Robert as well as the rest of the Domco team during our experience. Thank You!!

I had a main water line leak. I called and asked if they were actually located in our local area of Wilton and was told yes. I explained the problem, that we had dug out the leak area to the point of the leak which was a 2 or 3" pipe at a joint. The worker pumped it out and quoted me $750 for the repair. That seemed very high and I questioned that, but he assured me there was no way for him to do it for less, even though it was a "simple" (his words) job. This was Friday morning around 8:30 and I had initially called Wednesday around 6 PM with an initial promise for repair on Thursday- but no one followed up, and Thursday my 7 AM call found them already booked. I felt somewhat desperate, so I agreed to the $750. While the worker was here and the pump evacuating the water from the hole, I asked him if he was familiar with electric water heaters as advertised on his truck, and he assured me he was. I asked him if he could tell me if my electric water heater was turned on and not working, or turned off because although seldom used, I had not gotten hot water from it in some time. He looked at it and told me electric water heaters don't have on and off knobs; they are hard wired in and if the breaker is on, the water heater is on. After that I came in the house and left him to the repair. He came in at 10:10 AM and said he was finished and the leak was repaired. He also said I could not turn the water of for 4 hours, so he'd come back later and turn it on- OR he could give me $100 off if I wanted to turn the water on myself. When I asked what else needed doing, he said nothing. So, I agreed and said so I owe $650? and he answered with $675. Apparently we don't do math the same. There was nothing written on the paperwork regarding the initial job price nor the 'discount'- only that I was turning the water back on. When I looked later and realized he had not even filled in the hole, that he was here for less than 2 hours and used parts that are fairly inexpensive, I realized I had really been gouged with the $675 I ended up paying. My call to the office to ask about pricing left me with only that they price 'by the job' and not by the hour. Beware. And please note- DOMCO is not located in Wilton.

I called Domco Plumbing at 12:45 PM on a Sunday. They had one of their guys out to our house before 1:30 PM. Duane was extremely professional and courteous. He walked us through the problem, clearly explained the cost and what needed to be done. I honestly could not have had a better experience. I would not hesitate (and will not hesitate) to recommend and use them in the future!

Wow!!! I called Domco around 9:45 am and was told the plumber would arrive same day between 10 and noon. The plumber, Cole, called a little after 10:00 to let us know he would arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived as promised and was professional, polite and knowledgeable. Our disposal just needed the reset button pushed for now...how embarrassing! The hot water dispenser leak is fairly normal but Cole explained how difficult it will be to replace it because of the configuration in the island. The life of both items is limited so Cole advised us what to watch for and provided an estimate to replace them when they go out. No charge for today. The estimate seems fair so I definitely know who to call when we need to replace one of the items.

The guy (can't remember his name) came to my house as scheduled. I told him that I would like to install a wall mounted toilet in my fairly small bathroom. When he finally realized that I wanted the tank for the toilet installed in the wall (as designed) he just shook is head and said that it would be very expensive. He then said that he didn't know just how expensive it would be but that he would talk to his boss and then get me the estimate. I gave him the catalog numbers for the toilet, tank and flush actuator plate and my e-mail address. That was a week ago and I still don't have the estimate. Very disappointed.

Eric worked for 3 hours on my problem. He went from the outlet drain in the back to climbing on the roof to scope the whole system. He ended up pulling the toilet and using the largest auger I have ever seen. Eric also went through my washer out take to check. I feel he went over and above to fix the problem. He charged as he originally stated for the removal of the toilet. This was amazing because he worked very hard and did an excellent job. He gave advice on how to limit the problem in the future because my house is 60 years old and there has been updates and remodels that have created areas of concern. I plan on taking the advice and have Domco replace my main outlet so if I have a blockage again (high probability) it will take minutes and not hours to clear. This advice will save because I planned on demoing the concrete around the existing outlet drain this year and now I can plan with the concrete company to connect to the new drain line at the street. Eric informed me that this line existed. I say bravo! bravo!

Justin was wonderful. They are very detailed. We have a lot of faith in them. I would recommend them any time for plumbing.

Quickly diagnosed and explained the problem and then fixed it in short order.

Cole identified the problem right away. He let me know that this sort of problem comes up often and would be relatively easy to repair. It would require cutting the two feed line pipes and welding on new faucet connections. This would also require cutting in to the drywall and the whole job would take about an hour. Cole was able to save the drywall piece and it will be easy to patch it back into place. The job was done quickly and final checked workmanship. Thanks Cole for the great job!

The more I use Domco the more I am amazed by this company. I am a property manager and take care of a lot of properties. On top of that I now how to do most of the work myself. I have been frustrated for a very long time trying to find a plumber that is good. I know a good plumber when I use one. They can not simply by blind luck provide me service and get my full support. I want to let you know I have found one that is better than good, they are great. I have used them many times and can testify to their work. When finding a plumber you should look for one that is : 1. Knows how to do professional work and does professional work. 2. Meets their commitments, when they are going to be there, the quality of their work, and cost of repair. 3. Charges affordable prices. Domco has hit these all of the time for each time I have used them ( I mean ALL too ) On top of that over my many uses, I have meet quite a few of their workers. They are very professional every last one of them. Yes, this is a glowing review. Out of all the contractors I have used over many years. These guys are flawless. Stop calling around and call Domco. I am a property manager for multiple rental units. As you can guess, the plumbing either goes out late Friday night or during a holiday. Yesterday was Christmas and yes, we had backed up sewage in one of the units. I expect three things from the plumbing company I use. First, I want quick service when I have a serious problem. Second I want the problem fixed correctly. Finally I want to pay a fair price...yes they need to stay in business but then they should not rip me off either. I have tried numerous plumbing companies over the years and could not find one that meet all three criteria until I found Domco. I have used other highly rated Plumbing Companies on Angies list before Domco and they have failed at least one if not more of the criteria above. I have used Domco multiple times in the past and plan to have them be my plumbing provider in the future. Stop looking elsewhere and give them a call...you will not be sorry.

He was efficient and professional in fixing our leak. He took the time to explain how we can fix it ourselves next time and provided the brand and item name. It was a bit pricy ($186) considering it was a 10 minute job. Also, we were given a 2- hour timeframe and he didn't call and come until an hour past that, but I appreciate that they came on the same day I first called them.

We had an emergency in which water was pouring into the under-sink cabinet in the kitchen. When I called Domco the dispatcher immediately scheduled a technician, Duane, who was already working in the neighborhood. He was at our house within 20 minutes. Duane was very courteous and professional. He found that a pipe connector in the outflow piping from the disposal had worked loose, and he reattached the pipes, adding an extender section. He explained that vibration from the disposal had probably loosened the connector. This situation, he said, was exacerbated because the original pipe was not quite long enough, putting extra tension on that connector. The extender was installed to relieve the pressure. The leakage problem was solved within an hour of my initial call. At my request, Duane also tightened a bathroom faucet fixture. I was curious about the very low water-flow rate in the faucet. He suggested that I try to find a higher-flow valve cartridge, which he said I could install myself without having to call a plumber. There was no extra charge for the bathroom work.

The technician, Cole, was actually early, tidy, polite, professional and did great work. We would use this company again.

My wife and I recently returned from vacation and found a water leak at the hot water heater that flooded the garage and about 200 square feet of our house. We called a local plumber from the phone book. It was on a Sunday, he came out and replaced about a 2? section of pipe and charged $895 (a bit pricy we thought). That was just the beginning. He said that we had Kitek rubber pipes that were blistering in other areas as well and that the entire house had to be re-plumbed. We had him bid the job. He said that once he started work, it would take three weeks to complete. We wanted a second opinion. We joined Angie?s List and found DOMCO Plumbing listed there. Mr. Stone, the owner, came to evaluate and estimate. He agreed that the plumbing did have to be replaced and told us that there was a lawsuit against Kitek for product failure. One day later we received a detailed project proposal to re-plumb our entire house with copper piping. He said, ?My bid will not be the lowest, but I promise that you will not be disappointed if you allow us to do the work.? The bid turned out to be 5% higher than the first bid. We liked Mr. Stone's professional manner and attention to detail. We decided to hire him and pay the extra. Wow! Are we glad we did! He put the same seven men on the job every day for five days, not three weeks, as our first bid estimated would be the time frame. (One of the DOMCO men was responsible to paper a ?runway? over all interior walkways to assure cleanliness and did nothing but clean up immediately as the other six worked each day.) The work crew was always on time, clean, and in uniforms, and remained good-natured in answering any questions we had along the way. The County Building Inspector told me that the plumbers had done a very nice job and signed it off on his first visit. Given our very positive experience with DOMCO, we were particularly surprised to read the recent negative evaluation of Mr. Stone and the DOMCO company on this web site. Our personal experience with DOMCO was that they did everything they agreed to do, much more, in fact, and with excellence and a great, can-do attitude. This service visit was almost a year ago but it was so great I'm taking the time to write a review now. The plumber who made the service call was named Cole and his service was excellent. In addition to providing an estimate on several projects in my house and yard, he gave me honest recommendations about which projects I should have done by a landscaper or someone cheaper than a full fledged plumber. He also tightened a leaking master water valve that another company had said could only be fixed by replacing it (at a cost of $400+). Absolutely no hard sell, told me honestly when I should use another provider (or not bother getting something fixed because it wasn't really a problem), and fixed something for free! It was the best, most trust-inspiring service I have over received from a house-related contractor, and I won't hesitate to call Cole and DOMCO for any future plumbing work. I'd give them an A+ if I could.

First the first the bid seemed high, but they were able to do the job that same day so I went with them. The 2 man crew was clean, courteous and performed the work in about 3 hours. They tested the drain and left. My wife noticed water staining on the ceiling below the tub so they were called back for the next day to explore. This time another individual came and claimed it was the drain shoe as it was a cheap one and should be replaced. He did so at no cost since he said we had paid an "A" rate for the job. The shoe he provided was chrome versus the Venetian Bronze we had. I thought ?well I'll need a plumber to change that out now?. After changing out the tub shoe he tested the drain filling the tub to about 25 gallons and empting. This time water gushed from the ceiling and down through my windows. He said something was seriously wrong and we would need to wait a few days for the original crew to return. The office called and they returned after a weekend. The lead plumber tested the drain with less water (per my request) and again water came down the windows and even more dark spots on the ceiling. They then cut a hole in a bathroom cabinet to look into the tub area without permission. They noted no leak besides the fact the tub bedfloor was saturated. The plumber stated it was not a leak but rather residual water from a previous leak that was gushing down. What ??!! We called the owner of Domco who came out the next day by appointment. Initially backing his plumbers work, he humored us by looking in the cabinet hole...It gets better. After dumping even more water on the ceiling, windows and shutters he finds the leak. Eureka!!!! Nope, he states it was there before but since his guys didn?t note the defect the repair would be on him. Defect?? Not noted??? The home is 14 years old. I have owned it for 4 and the tub never leaked before and was used several times a week. But hey it couldn?t have happened when they were wrestling the tub out? At this point I am pretty well insulted. He sent the same crew out the next morning to repair the "builder problem". They cut a hole in ceiling, made the repair and left. After repairing the ceiling and window sheetrock ($650) and replace a $400 shutter I am out almost $2000 to change out tub handles. The owner asked if I wanted him to fix the sheetrock. After they did such a great job on the Plumbing??? He did state that they get 2-3 of these a year and most of their customers are happy. After all of this I noted they set the tub wrong as there is 1/2 inch gap in the rear of the tub to the tile (which they tried to cram caulking over but the gap was too large) and the faucet is covered with caulk like a child wearing a blindfold did the job. I?m in the process now of finding a qualified plumber to reinstall the tub correctly. My guess is this job will cost me well over $2500 thanks to them. I believe they clearly take zero pride in their finished work. This was such a bad experience I am considering dropping Angie?s list as a service. I could have received better service from a PennySaver plumber. Use at your own risk. I'll bet the majority of crappy work they do never gets reported here. I almost didn?t post the review but would have never called them had I seen something like this so I thought it might help someone else. Hey, bad things can happen to anyone but it is how it is dealt with. In my case it was an ugly deal from the get go.

They came out to replace, clean out and root on the sewer lines. They did an x-ray, found the problem and fixed it right away. Three to four guys came out and it took them about three days to complete the job. They did an excellent job cleaning up.

I called at about 10:00 a.m. The person told me he would call me at 12:00 p.m. to confirm an appointment for later that afternoon if he could get me one. He never called back so I assumed the company could not send someone out that day. However, at 2:30 P.M. I received a call from the plumber saying he was on his way. The plumbers told me some options for fixing my kitchen faucet and tightened it for free to get me by until I could go buy a new faucet. They were very polite and knowledgeable.

I exposed the septic tank cleanouts before the tech arrived. The tech arrived on-time and was very courteous and professional. He wound up pumping out much more volume than anticipated but we negotiated a fair price for the additional volume. I would definitely use again.
