I must say I sat on this for a long time, prior to posting. I must say I was very excited about a custom stainless steel back-splash to include in my kitchen remodel. I coordinated this effort to purchase this through a reputable bath and kitchen distributor. It took several weeks to hear back, but it finally arrived. Sent the check and the back-splash was picked up by the contractor. Once installed and the blue protective top covering removed, a dent was noticed. I immediately called the bath and kitchen distributor, who then called Appliance Depot. Several weeks later, I called again. Finally, I heard back from Appliance Depot and was told, he would replace the stainless steel back-splash for another $200. What the heck…so basically, they are asking me to pay again for a product they provided which was dented. Essentially, I would be paying $550.00 for a 30” x 30” back-splash, which by the way, was my second choice, because my first choice would have taken 3-months to receive and I did not want to wait that long for my kitchen to be done. For those who cook, I am sure you can understand… With that said, I would not recommend purchasing your stainless steel back-splash from Appliance Depot. They do not stand by their products and take a long time to respond. At some point in time, I will be replacing the back-splash, because every time I look at it, it disgusts me that a company would not stand by their product. Here is my review of Appliance Depot: - Responsiveness – Slow - Value Customer Service – No - Standby their products - No - Recommendation – Do not recommend

Appliance Depot was a pleasure to deal with, and going forward, we will ask Appliance Depot to handle all of our appliance installations. The entire process was very smooth. The phone estimate was accurate and the work was completed on time and very well done. They hauled away the old oven, and we received a bill in the mail.
Description of Work: Appliance Depot replaced the wall oven in our rental home.

Dave Studebaker & his assistant, Laurie, arrived a few minutes earlier than the electrician at the appointed time. Immediately covered my hardwood floors with masonite and my counters with padded covers. Removed the old oven unit (no easy task!) and prepped the "hole" for the electrician. Electrician arrived and started his work, Dave & Laurie worked on adapting the cabinet for the new appliances. It was as if their movements were choreographed. Four & a half hours later, the kitchen was empty of all their protective coverings and equipment - and we had beautiful new working appliances! I could not be any more pleased with the professional manner in which they operated, communicated with us & each other, or the quality of their installation. Truly a first class operation.
Description of Work: Came out to give an estimate of the cost for removing & taking double wall oven unit; then putting in the replacement Thermador Steam-Convection Oven & lower single Thermador convection oven. Assessed the need for an additional electrical circuit & referred us to an electrician they knew.....Larsen Electric, Roseville....then scheduled the installation in concert with the electrician and the delivery of the appliances.

Very good experience. Dave, Hunter, and Aaron had a window of time available to do the installation on the same day I called. They arrived on time, analyzed the situation, and got to work. They built up the wall behind the micro/hood to bring it level with a thick backsplash tile installation, securely anchored the microwave, and fit and taped the vent. The range came without a cord, so they added that, made a necessary adaptation in the outlet, slid the range in and leveled it. At the end, Hunter and Dave gave me instructions on how to use and clean my new appliances - all of which I didn't know. I'm very pleased with how well the process went and how well my new cook area looks. I'm also glad I went with ADI as there's quite a bit more involved in doing it right than I imagined. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Appliance Depot Installers installed a new stainless microwave/hood and electric range. (Angie's List doesn't have a category for appliance installation, but installation is the specialty of ADI, not appliance repair.)

A.D.I. provides excellent professional work from start to finish, beginning with the general service requested down to the most detailed work needed. They are fully equipped to set up a complete workshop when they come to the home. This is in addition to the their off-site design and construction of cabinets or other materials needed for the work. They are meticulous workers, take precautions to prevent any damage, and leave the work area in your home looking cleaner and, of course, more beautiful than before because of the installation or cabinetwork they provided. It is such a pleasant experience to work with all of them. They are so polite, congenial, great at conversation, knowledgeable, and just lots of fun. They are quick with offers to help out in any way they can.
Description of Work: Appliance Depot Installers (A.D.I.) is an outstanding company that recently completed major work in our kitchen. Owner, Mark Studebaker along with Dave Studebaker provide much more than the perfect installation. They are expert designers, have an impressive background and expertise in all matters related to appliances and remodeling, and consistently produce top-notch work. Dave Studebaker’s cabinetwork is the best, as is his keen eye for important detail resulting in a complete professional look. When A.D.I. first came to our home to install the range hood, they immediately recognized problems with our new Miele dishwasher, originally installed by Miele certified personnel. Dave Studebaker not only installed the necessary steam shield that Miele neglected to provide but added the proper wood work around the dishwasher also neglected by Miele. Talented co-workers Hunter Stuebing and Aaron Lang are both a hard-working and professional asset to the company. Appliance Depot Intstallers is definitely our first choice for any future work in our home. Cabinetwork, design, appliance installation and removal provided by A.D.I. includes: Cabinetwork, stainless steel Z-Bar design and removal of old microwave to accommodate the size of the: KOBE Pro Hood SS, Model CH 7730 SQB Removal of old ovens and building of a new cabinet to accommodate the size of the: Wolf Single Built-in Oven, Model SO 30 U/S Wolf Built-in Micro Convection, Model MWC24 Wolf Warming Drawer and Drawer Front, Model WWD 30
