He was very patient and honest.
Description of Work: He was able to get my very old gas heaters working, which is great! I had someone from another company come out before and wouldn't even bother looking at my old furnace and tried to sell a system to me for $15,000! So I appreciate the honesty of Austin Air and will be calling him in the future to do some work.

Description of Work: Nick installed a whole house fan. We needed additional venting out our roof, since we have a small attic with minimal vents. He assigned that to another contractor, who also did an excellent job. The fan works to cool down our house in the evening. We are going to see how well it keeps us cool this summer before we install central air. If our summer is a hot one as expected, and the fan performs as expected, it may help determine the kind of AC unit we purchase. Nick was always in communication with us, managing expectations and updating on next steps and completion date. It was a quick, small job but he gave us full attention and handled the unforeseen hitches in a thoughtful, honest way. His take on our needs brought additional value to his efforts. We expect to proceed in installing AC and will definitely go with Austin Air!

Nick, the owner of Austin Air came to our house and gave us a free estimate of what the job would cost us and gave us a full description of the different options we had. Once we decided on the option we wanted to go with, he was ready to start the job. He is very professional and flexible with his schedule. He did the whole job himself with the help of one other person. He was able to answer our questions along the way. Once the job was complete, he checked to make sure everything was running well. A few days later we had an issue with one of the units making a funny noise but Nick was able to come over right away and fix it. Overall, we are very satisfied with our new system!
Description of Work: We had our entire heating and cooling systems replaced.
