+ 6 moreAll went exceptionally well. We have no complaints with any of his work. He is an exceptional contractor, carpenter, electrician, plumber, and painter.
Description of Work: Dean Johnson performed many remodeling jobs over 3-4 yrs including bathroom remodeling with extensive floor and wall tile work. He built a front porch with enclosed roof with cement block planters, corbles, skylight. He installed large solid wood floor in great room and hallway. He remodeled media room for large screen TV with custom built cabinets, painting, new solid wood floor and resurfaced fireplace/chimney. He installed crown moldings in 4 bedrooms with custom windowsills. He repainted exterior of house. Dean Johnson was very professional. He charged by the hour at a very reasonable rate. He worked hard and did not waste any time. He was flexible with scheduling and concerned about costs with good recommendations. We had much more work for him but he became too busy with large projects and we regretably lost his services. We would rehire him in a minute. We strongly recommend him without any reservations.

+ -1 moreOverall, Dean is an honest, good guy to work with. He showed up with his help and worked hard at the tasks mentioned above. The floor work turned out well. The demo work also went well. The framing and drywall work were not exactly what we wanted. Not awful, but not too pretty. Dean is capable of doing good work with clear and consistent direction. You will need to decide if you can provide enough of that quantity to get the results you want.
Description of Work: Hired Dean to raise a sunken living room floor, demo a bar and install a wall to create an additional closet.
