We were very pleased with Jose and his workers. He explained every aspect of the task before it was done, pointing out problems and issues. The work was done with minimal disruption and damage to our back yard. We highly recommend Roroman Plumbing.

Jose is excellent. Just a very friendly, knolwedgeable and safe person. I feel very comfortable having him working on the house plumbing and taking his advice on what needs to be done. Water wasn't coming to the dishwasher and after the Kitchen Aid man came and said the washer is fine, it's a plumber issue, we then figured some valve or pipe had been dislodged during the quake (we rarely use the dishwasher). Jose diagnosed the problem: the company who had installed new pipes last year (not Jose's company, we joined Angie's List and found Jose after that installation, when we needed a fix on another problem due to their work) simply did not connect the water pipe to a water line. Jose went to the nearby supply store and had the pipe connected nicely within 20 minutes. He checked the washer to be sure it was working and asked me to verify that the washer element was still working (even though that's not his area, but he wanted to be sure we were up and running fully with the washer). He also checked to be sure I didn't have a leak in the pipe from the city street to our house connection; I was concerned about that. He also checked around the outside of the house to be sure the previous install team didn't forget to connect any taps. I trust Jose and his work. He is usually right on time, too! But I have to be honest in the reviews, and this time he was 30 min late. But when I phoned him (he was on the way, in traffic), and also when he arrived, he was very apologetic. Jose is still our go-to plumber.

Jose was professional, on time and was available on short notice. He showed up when he said he would, quoted the price and it was reasonalbe for the amount of work involved. He finished the job in less than 2 hours. We will definitely use him again.

It went well. He assessed the issue quickly and fixed the problem right away. He was polite and personable. Although the $250 price hurt a bit, it wasn't out of line for emergency plumbing service. The fact that he came right away found and fixed the problem was worth it.

The first time he was good, and very reasonably priced the second time there was a leak in the kitchen and I did not know where it was coming from. He looked around, and went into the crawlspace and said he found where it was coming from. We agreed on a price and told him I would need to check on something else and I would call him. I contacted my brother who knows a little about plumbing. He said it was a leak from the water line into the refrigerator. He did not even look behind the refrigerator and said it was something in the crawlspace leaking. He did not seem to know what he was talking about.

They were on time, worked efficiently and did a great job. They left my house clean and were pleasant to work with. I would definitely use them again.

2 of the 3 toilets work well. The 3rd is a different story and worked before they replaced it. After they replaced the 3rd toilet it suddenly wouldn't flush. We don't use it much so we let it sit thinking it was going to go away but it never did. I called Roroman Plumbing and asked them to come out and look at it since it worked before they installed it and now it doesn't. When they came out, they told me the toilet was fine and it must be the pipe but they wouldn't fix it. So I am now the new owner of a bathroom with a nicer looking toilet that doesn't work. I even had the home warranty people come out and they said that something may have fallen into the pipe during the toilet installation and its clogged and thus the toilet needs to be removed and the drain needs to be snaked. Roroman's response was "not my problem" and they wanted to charge me $150 to fix it. Now I am going to have to pay for a plumber to come over and fix the new problem.

Roroman Plumbming actually arrived 30 minutes early, which was nice. The service man appeared to know what he was doing and the installation was conducted with no problems. I think if I had a complaint, it would be that the coupon or offer was a little missleading. I assummed that the $115 offer to install a new toilet included the toilet, which is did not. I should have checked before I purchased the coupon/offer on Angie's List. I called Roroman after I purchased the coupon offer and I found out that it did not include the toilet, which was an additional $135.00. I had recently priced new toilets at Home Depot so the price that Roroman offered for a new toilet was in the ball park and I didn't have to go out and purchase the toilet on my own, which made it convenient. Lesson learned, if an offer seems to good to be true, then it probably is!!! All in all, they arrived early, no drama, toilet was installed without a hassel and I am pleased with the work that was done and I would call these guys again if I ever needed a toilet installed. This was my first experience using Angie's List so I can only hope that the rest of my experiences go this smooth.

I emailed Jose asking whether he can fix a discharge pipe of the water heater release valve for me. He called me promptly and gave me an estimate on the cost (about $180). But he suggested I could purchase the $99 coupon (2-hour labor) for this job. I purchased the coupon. He arrived on time and fixed the pipe professionally in less than an hour. One of my sprinkler valves has a leaking issue at that time. I mentioned that in the email to Jose. But he did not fix the issue when he finished the discharge pipe. I thought the coupon was for 2-hour labor. I thus contacted him that night on the leaking sprinkler value issue. Jose mentioned that the coupon was only for the discharge pipe per our phone call. I actually misunderstood him. However, to my surprise, he showed up the next day and fixed the leaking sprinkler valve for free. He said that customer satisfaction is always his priority. And he meant it! I would have rated him A+ if that option is available.

Did a good job, was prompt and efficient (took around an hour for both items).

Jose was excellent. He came during the window of time he provided. He got straight to work and removed the old toilet and installed the new one within 1.5 hours. He also hauled away the old toilet. He was friendly and did great work! He was a pleasure to work with and I would hire him again!

Very well. The problem is with Angie's List---or understanding how it works. I found Roroman Plumbing on the list, clicked the schedule service button, and assumed he would get all my contact information. It took a couple of messages through the message tool for us to know when, what, and where. After the work was done, I expected a prompt from Angie's List to write a review. None came, but I do have prompts to write reviews for companies I don't think I have used. But Mr. Rodriguez did a great job and also gave me good advice on out water filtration system. I would definitely use him again. The jury is still out on Angie's List.

I joined Angie's List in hopes of finding a plumber/handyman to help me with my rental in Pinole. Roroman says he is open 7 days per week but when I called Sunday, I got an answering service telling me "he is not working today, call back tomorrow". I called today. I was put on hold for about 3 minutes & the young lady seemed to be in a hurry- she asked for my name and number and promised he would call me back soon.....I'm still waiting. I sent him a message advising I was going to share my experience.

He was able to customize solution for us. We had some old valves and he was able to come up with some newer equipment and was able to take the plastic off and put in some metal rather than just the plastic ones. He works well and was very helpful. Price wise we did not check it with anybody else but he was able to provide us with a solution and that is why we went with him.

Roroman is not providing toilet haul away for free, they want to charge extra for that, not like the ad. They wanted $55 for cancellation and I did pay that, then changed their minds and refunded. I informed them I would be asking Angie's List for a refund. The person who came here did not appear to understand the issues at all and would not be our choice at all to get this work done. Had to call his office at every turn.

I called the office at around 8:;30am and I was asked some information and which service I might need. I was told that I will be contacted by the plumber. As soon as I hang up the phone, I received a phone call from Jose Rodriguez in less than 5 minutes. I talked to him and told him what my issue is, and made an appointment to be seen at 11am that same day. He was very punctual and arrived on time. He took time to determine where the leak could be coming from. He also politely showed and explained to me reasons why and where the problem lies. He gave me an estimate which is very reasonable and the time frame that would take the job done. I really like the fact that he took time diagnosing where the possible leak might be coming from, leaving no stone unturned. Once it was determined, he gathered the equipment he needed and everything was smooth-saling from there until the job was done. I really felt assured that the job was done properly because he told me that if the same problem occurs in the same spot, he will be happy to come back and fix the problem and will not charge.

The Roroman plumbers did an excellent job. They are very professional, friendly and courteous. They should me where the leak was coming from on the waste line and educated me on what caused the problem and how to prevent it from happening again. First, they dismantled the toilet and inspected the flange. The leak was not coming from the toilet. After that they cut the ceiling on the first floor in the area where there were water spots caused by the leak and located the leak. After they repaired the leak they replaced and repaired the area of the ceiling that they cut out. I was not billed for the additional work they did to replace and repair the ceiling and the toilet flange inspection. The cost was reasonable for the work they did. I did not at anytime feel that I was getting ripped off. I couldn't have been more pleased with their services. I would definitely call them again without hesitation.

I'm very happy with this company. Jose responded to my call immediately and finished the job the next day. It was very well done and he was very polite, professional, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Jose to everyone and I will use him again in the future.

The service was went well. He did get lost and was an hour and a half late but other than that it went well. I am using him again in the future.

I appreciate the prompt, professional work done by the crew and the backed up sink finally gave way to smooth drainage ahead! What helped most was the patient explanation of what was going to be done and what was found. I fully understood what I was paying for and could trust the information I received.

Jose discovered the tank was cracked in the guest bath after replacing the parts making the toilette still unusable. Disappointing, until he called me the next day with the suggestion to replace the tank from the master at no additional charge. With the new parts, the toilette now functions. I would definitely call them again.

The job went very well. Jose got the permits and scheduled the city inspector for approvals. When there were issues (aren't there always) Jose was right there to insure the corrections were made and done on time. I would recommend Roroman Plumbing and he will be my plumber from now on.

Professional, punctual, and reasonably priced service make Rororman Plumbing a sure bet when you need plumber. The owner, Jose, sets the tone with his friendly and helpful approach to service. He stuck to his quote, performed the service with the aid of trained assistant and offered numerous tips and ways of reducing the cost of the job at hand. I will certainly be using him in the future for all of my plumbing needs.

The owner was the one that answered my call. He was able to come either the same day or the next day. He did the work himself. He fixed his problem quickly.
