Jose was fast quick and efficient, he did a great job installing the toilet. I asked him to provide me with an estimate for installation of a kitchen faucet, and he installed it on the spot and did a nice job. There was some minor cosmetic damage done to my toilet, which isn't a huge deal but it was a brand new toilet.

The workmanship is outstanding and exceeds my expectation. The plastic tubes from the water softener and filtration system are nicely crafted and are strongly fastened to the machines to avoid leakage. The copper pipes that he used to conduct the water from the front to the back of the house is skillfully placed and secured against the wall of the house.

Plumber is very flexible on schedule, by working weekends. Work was decent. He had to come back twice to fix shower door orientation and leaking shower head. His drywall guy textured and painted over the plumbing fixtures to the toilet (also some texture stuff on the toilet). Seems like a nice guy, but after several text messages asking for a receipt/invoice along with several replies stating he would send, I NEVER received the receipt/invoice for my records. Tough to do business with someone that does not keep their word.

Jose gave me an accurate estimate on the phone,was on time and did a good job.

They didn't do anything because they didn't want to cover my area even though their deal did.

It went very well. Jose had given me a range of how much it would cost over the phone. It turned out to be the lowest price in the range.

Professional, helpful, and punctual. Work was completed in a timely manner and job was well done

I called Jose and an hour later he was at my house. The work was quick and clean. We'll use Roroman Plumbing in the future!

I was looking for a general contractor to install a new 60" shower stall. I had a small corner "gem shape" shower that was leaking badly and needed to be repaired before I could put a new renter in the house. I shopped for a contractor for 2 weeks and was getting frustrated. Living in Napa, some contractors assume you're rich and give you a first quote so ridiculously high, it's not even worth your time. I was running out of time, so I called Jose because he has done some basic plumbing for me in the past. He was able to come by for a quote within 1 day, which was faster than every other contractor I talked to. He gave me a quote of $3,000, and he even offered to install a new sink/vanity at no cost to me as long as I assemble the cabinet. This was very reasonable compared to the quotes I had received from other General Contractors for more than $10,000. I explained to the other Contractors that all I wanted was a simple 3-piece shower kit installed, and they would insist that they will only install their own manufactured showers because they can't warranty a shower purchased from Delta or Sterling. This is ridiculous, and something for homeowners to look out for if they ever need a shower done: most contractors want to sell you the most expensive materials available. Do your own shopping so that you know the actual cost of your materials, and know that the warranty comes from the material manufacturer, not the installer. My project was not straightforward: a new alcove wall needed to be constructed, floor tile needed to be cut, and a drain pipe which sits inside of a concrete slab needed to be relocated. He was able to address all of this. He was able to order the shower and start within 1 week and he finished the job in 4 days. He was very polite and showed up on time at 8am every day. The quality of the work was great with respect to the plumbing. He identified a leaking copper pipe inside the wall, and he repaired it at no additional cost to me. He also noticed a problem with the way my toilet tank was installed so he also took care of that at no extra cost to me. The only complaint I have with respect to quality was a replacement of the removed tile. He's obviously not a tile guy, but this is the kind of thing anybody with a tile saw can do easily. The drywall work was satisfactory, and was done by one of Jose's helpers. I have a wife and 2 dogs, and he was very good with my dogs and I felt completely safe leaving my wife alone at home to "supervise". Jose is extremely polite and he works hard and fast.

We called Friday evening and got Roroman's answering service. Jose called us the following morning and was able to squeeze us in between his other service calls. He arrived at the house and got to work right away. We had used his service before so we knew he was quick and would get the work done right away. As it turned out the clog was different than the last time and it took about an hour to complete the work but Jose was super efficient and fast. He unclogged both drains and cleaned up the mess after the work was done. We will use him again. He is honest, nice, knowledgeable and the price is fair. Thanks Jose!

Jose and his workers have always done excellent quality work and are very reasonably priced. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make our household plumbing working very well again. We can't recommend them enough!

Horrible! He turned our water off and we were without water for over 24 hours! It took him 2 days to figure out how to install the jets, and he was calling one of his helpers to talk him thru it! He also brought his wife the second day, and she fell asleep on my bathroom floor! The only thing he did do right is he replaced the supply lines to the shower with 3/4 pipe to the shower jets supply. Fortunately, I hired another plumber to come and do some other work for me and he saw that the shower jets were plumbed wrong before I closed the wall. It had to be completely redone because Jose didn't install them properly! Fortunately the other plumber only changed me $100 to make the corrections. On top of all this he told my husband a different amount than he quoted me. I had to leave and didn't find out he charged us $300 more than quoted until after I came home and he was gone! I'm sure Roroman is fine to use for simple plumbing issues, but do not hire them for anything complicated, such as bathroom remodel work.

I am not the easiest consumer, I ask tons of questions which usually lead to more questions. Jose patiently answered every one and even provided a diagram! The bid was reasonable and was exactly what he charged me when all was said and done. Oh and he came out on Memorial Day at no extra charge! Thank you Jose.

I had a bathroom sink that was clogged for some time. I had tried all the DIY things I could do including buying a drain snake and snaking it myself with no success. Roroman came by within 1 day of me calling and showed up on time. The drain itself was not originally built to code, so he re-built the drain with no additional cost to me, and he removed the clog. The did the whole job in about 30 minutes, which was very impressive. He was very clean, covered all of his equipment before entering the house, and was extremely polite.

Job went well with only one major complaint from my tenants. When contractor was opening walls in bedroom closet and bathroom they failed to cover furniture and/or use plastic sheeting to contain the dust. The dust pretty much went through every room including an office, hallways and a living room where no work was done. The tenants are still grousing about having to clean up so much after the work was completed. So my recommendation to the contractor is to take more care to contain dust and debris and clean up after yourselves a little better. There price was great and the work was good. I found the contractor to be very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The job took a little longer than I anticipated but they worked to minimize inconvenience to tenants. Later there was a leaky valve that then were a little slow responding to. After missing two appointments they showed up without one (fortunately tenant was home and did not feel inconvenienced) and corrected the problem.

My first experience with Angie's List was using Roroman Plumbing and everything went exceptionally well. Therefore, when I needed to replace another toilet, it was no question who I would call. I found the same deal on Angie's List for using Roroman Plumbing again, and I proceeded to call to set up the appointment. Things were a little different! I was told by a receptionist that their plumber was out of the Country and she didn't know when he would be returning. WHAT??? I know that per Angie's List that someone is supposed to call you within a certain time frame. So now I am thinking that I need to call and get my money back and look for another plumber. Fortunately, I got call from a guy claiming to be the owner and he basically called to set up my appointment to have the toilet installed. This was nothing like my first experience!! Unfortunately, I had to call and cancel my appointment due to unforeseen circumstances and I called Roroman Plumbing and got the same receptionist and I proceeded to tell her that I need to change my appointment and told me that she didn't know who I had been talking to because their plumber was still out of the Country and there was no way that I could have set up an appointment. Now, this is getting a little weird for me!! Who had I been talking too?? And who had I set up my appointment with?? I explained that I had spoke with a guy and we had made the appointment, again in an irritated voice she told me that their plumber was out of the Country. I said fine and hung up! I went to may cell and retrieved the number for the guy that I had set up the appointment with and confirmed that he was indeed the owner of Roroman Plumbing and he gladly changed the appointment. I explained to him that he needed to inform his receptionist or answering service that their plumber was back in the Country because I was two seconds from canceling my deal with his company. From that point on, everything went pretty Ok with the exception of this one issue. I know that most Cities give rebates for installing low flush toilets and I found out about this after I installed the first low flush toilet. This time I asked in advance for a receipt for the toilet so that I can get my rebate. The owner knew all about the program...GO FIGURE!! He told me he would send the paperwork for the rebate and the receipt for my toilet. I NEVER GOT IT!! That is a nice little scam...the toilet that Roboman sold me was $130.00 and the rebate is $75.00 so who is getting all those rebates....EXACTLY!! Word to the wise!! GET YOUR REBATE and Receipt before paying. They do good work but this go round was definitely not professional!!

Jose charged me $476 to clear a clog in my sewer line on a Saturday. The charge was high because he attempted to unclog from so many different places, first from the front clean out, then from a toilet (which he removed and replaced) then from the kitchen, then from the roof. He told me that the problem was under my porch, and that we could reschedule for him to tear out the concrete and replace the pipe there for several thousand dollars. C grade because: 1) The sewer line clogged again within a week. This time, I rented a electric snake tool from Home Depot and resolved the clog in the sewer line myself just by using the cleanout in my front yard. Took less than 30 minutes. 2) An other plumber come out with a pipe camera. The film showed that there was no problem under the porch whatsoever or anywhere else with the pipes on my property ? the problem is that roots infiltrated the sewer line out in the street just beyond the sidewalk. 3) The second plumber said that Roroman ripped me off by spending so much time and doing so many unnecessary procedures to clear the clog that could've been easily addressed just using the cleanout in the front yard. On the plus side: I needed a duplicate copy of the receipt in order to see if I could be reimbursed by the city. I told José that I would write a review if he sent me a receipt copy, and he complied on the second request, so here I am acknowledging that.

The service was excellent! The job took longer than originally quoted but I was not charged extra for the overage time. We couldn't be happier with the service and for anything plumbing we will give them a call. I got a quote from another local plumber at almost triple the price, don't get ripped off call these guys before going with another plumbing company it will save you a ton of money!

Jose is the highest quality plumber that I have ever worked with. His prices are fair but it's the quality and wisdom of experience and advice that really stands out and makes his service so worthwhile. And he is a plumber with a golden heart. He will recommend to you what he considers is the wisest and best thing to do, all things considered, cost, appearance, longevity, any future plans, etc., and you know his recommendation is what he would do for his own house. We found Jose on Angie's List about a year and a half ago, and he's done a few other jobs for us, and after this job, I would rate his service even higher if it was possible. This time, we were moved to the core, because our main water line broke and was gushing out just near the city meter (it broke just inside our property, on our side of the meter, as the old pipe was in such bad shape), and the city turned off our water at the meter. Jose, who was 35 minutes away in his office area, was able to get to us within 3 hours and he hooked up his own hose and ran it as a temporary line from the meter to the house so we would have water. He was back -- squeezing us in -- the next morning at 8am sharp to dig the trench across the driveway and up the side of the landscape. All total it was about 70 feet. It was pouring rain that day, but his crew got the trench dug, and then Jose came out and laid the flexible copper pipe and got it all hooked up. He did not skimp with 3/4" piping, but went with 1 inch piping. We already knew that Jose is our plumber, but at this gesture, he became like family to us. It was this 'going above and beyond' that you just come to know that this is the right guy, and that you can truly depend on him if there might be an emergency. His schedule is busy, no doubt, but worth the wait. And also I usually ask many questions to the contractors, and Jose is patient with all my questions and explains until I understand. And he is also open to suggestions and always seems open to improve/learn further. It's worth mentioning that Jose did advise me at one point on a previous visit that our main water line is very old and could use replacing--we thought we weren't ready to go for it yet, but nature had other plans! Finally, they re-cemented the driveway where they dug up with cement mixed with black paint so that it matches the asphalt.

Jose quoted me a good price, considering that the task is not time-consuming or difficult (a half-hour or so); other plumbers in my area charge for a full hour regardless of the duration of the actual work. He called to say that he would be late, but when I expressed dismay (had an appointment) he showed up very promptly and did the work quickly, and gave me a $5 discount on the bill. Very friendly, professional--I will contract with him again if I need any plumbing work. Forgot to ask for the Angie's List discount, but as he had already given me a discount I'm not disappointed about it.

Jose was on time, clean, professional, and worked very quickly. He finished the work in less than an hour, including plumbing a new P-trap, which was impressive. He could tell that the P-trap was not build to code, and he replaced it for no extra charge. He also cleaned the drain, clearing the clog. Sink flows perfectly now. I had been buying a bottle of drano every month, bought a drain snake, and spent hours standing over it with a plunger, he fixed everything in about 35 minutes for probably less than it cost me to mess around with it with no result.

Hired them to come out to clear my bathroom sink and hallway bathroom toilet. They quoted me $165. It took about an hour. A little disappointed that they did not give me the member discount. I would hire them again. Updated Review: The provider read my review and apologized for the oversight and I received a check from them for the discount. Awesome!

Things started out late by one day due to not getting the permit from the city and then Jose said it was going to be a 4 day job not 3 as in my quote. Jose promised it would be done in the 3 day period and work started. The heater was changed out on the 3rd day at mid day. My Girlfriend called my to say that Jose was not there and as it was noon was he going to be able to finish? I called Jose to see if he was going to finish and he said he would. He and his helper stayed until 9:00 that night finishing up and getting the hot water back on. He put in quit the effort to get things the way I needed them to be and when the heater went into error mode after being operational for a month he came out on 2 trips to diagnose the problem and fix it so it wouldn't happen again.

Understand that what I'm about to describe happened at midnight on a Saturday. Our call to Jose at Roroman was answered at 1130pm by a well-mannered young lady who clearly understood the value of a late night emergency and the swift delivery of the message and the nature of the problem to Jose very quickly. She assured us that if he could make it he'd respond within a half hour. Five minutes later Jose called and assured us he'd be on site in 25 minutes. Sure enough at the stroke of midnight a knock on our front door and Jose had arrived. Within ten minutes he'd calmly listened to our tale (one that included the emergence of raw sewage from a toilet removed by me for what was until then, perceived as another problem), assessed the problems' location, helped us move floor tile stacked against the outside of the house to access the service drainpipe on slab and went to work with a plumbing snake. Within 15 minutes he'd completed the task and was describing to me the nature of the problem and the possibilities of a recurrence in the future due to the age of the original pipe work that extended away from our house toward the street. He offered to return not only to fix my toilet issue but do the work to insure the sewage pipe didn't fail again. Imagine our relief at his quick response, determined approach and simple professionalism in solving a horrific problem made more so by the fact that we were entertaining my mother-in-law from out of town and faced the balance of our weekend without showering or use of the toilets !

It was perfect. Two idiots talking to a very patient professional and the pilot light got lit!
