Description of Work: General home improvement. Updated the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. I was very happy with the work performed.

Description of Work: Ben Reid and his partner installed the swivel mount for my 55" flat screen visio TV. It was mounted on the wall, it was a difficult mount. They were very nice and was aware of my indoor cats while going in and out of the door. Great guys!!

Description of Work: They hung 5 double closet doors 1,900 and repair some ceiling cracks

Description of Work: Laid an underground 220 volt line underground, from the garage to a spa, on the backyard.

Description of Work: Remodeled my guest bathroom and corrected a few problems from the original construction that wasn't to code. Used the materials I had already purchased (tile, fixtures, vanity)and worked out a tile pattern that was pleasing when I had to add more tile from another source. Only problem was that employee/s quit soon after the job started and had to be completed by the owner, but he was also supervising other jobs. Job was completed on schedule, but always takes longer than expected.

Description of Work: The workmen took great pride in the work that they did. They didn't mind taking time to educate me regarding what they were doing and why. I had 2 different jobs occurring simultaneously and am very pleased with the end results. As a matter of fact I am considering them for additional work, which I had not planned on having done, but due to the fantastic performance and great price, I can afford to have it done now.

Description of Work: Scheduled to replace bathroom flooring and windows.They did very well even though unexpected situations occurred. Floors showed leaking from toilets and those replaced and since it made the shower look bad and new shower was replaced. Then while replacing the windows, dry rot was discovered and a wasp nest. After nest taken care of the dry rot was cut out and new boards replaced and then the windows and because of the above the house needed to be painted. I don't remember the exact date or cost. I made a rating before.

Description of Work: They leveled a subfloor for me, but can do most other jobs as well. I actually hired them to do more work for me today in fact. They are knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and I like working on an hourly rate basis.

Description of Work: Reid Construction put up dry wall, then taped it in my garage. They (2 workers) did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves on the first evening. They came back the next day to finish up the job. They worked with me as I asked them to do a few additional things for the completion of the job. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I contacted them for a quote to install ceiling fans. They were punctual in responding to me with a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Ben came to our house on time (actually a little early) to give us an estimate to replace our accordion closet door for a slider, secure the fixtures on our kitchen sink, and repair the weather stripping on our side garage door. We agreed to his estimated cost and waited for a couple of weeks for the new closet door to come in. Ben sent Josh to do the work. Josh was extremely pleasant and professional. He had to return since he did not have the right tool to drill into our tile floor to secure the door. He also hung a towel rack for us which we did not initially ask about. We plan to call Ben again for a couple of other repairs that we need.

Description of Work: I contacted Reid Construction based on previous small, handyman jobs. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with Ben and his crew.

Description of Work: We had laminate flooring put into our bedroom. This was done well. We had to have some caulking redone and the person who came out did not know what he was suppose to do and did a very sloppy job. We had to have Reid come out and redo it. We had a bedroom door hung, and this was done well. The electrician who did our rewiring, Saul, was excellent. He did a superb job rewiring our house. Now we can use two electrical items at the same time without blowing out a fuse. Reid was knowledgeable, but some of the people working for him were not experienced and not very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: He came to give us an estimate for the portion of the job that was not covered by the Big Deal coupon. It seemed high and we got him to come down a little bit but not much. Ben was not very helpful with giving me an image of what the design would look like or helping me choose a shower door. I felt that I was on my own and I didn't know what my bathroom was going to look like until it was done and that isn't acceptable to me. Ben is a very nice guy but I need pictures, products etc. to see.
