Ben came to work the many electrical outlets throughout the house. He followed the line directions to the  nonoperational sockets and got them working. He was clean throughout the job and even helped us ladies move the chests of drawers he knew we couldn't move without assistance, out of the way.
He worked until all the sockets were working.
He is a very friendly and easy to speak to guy. We like him and will call him again for other work to be done in our house for sure.

Went as expected.

Workers and Ben showed up on time first day, but unfortunately, one worker quit same day and another later in week. Ben came through though, doing most of the work himself and found a second worker when he needed help. Job took longer than expected because of this issue and the unexpected vent problem. Overall bath is great!

It was kind of a bad situation as they are located in Fairfield and the home I was having remodeled was in Fair Oaks, about 90 minutes apart. I asked the fellow to just draw up a sketch and send that to me. He was very nice and seemed to be professional. He did say there were a few people online that were in front of me and I was okay with that. I never got the sketch and had difficulty getting a hold of them. They never called me, but they did email me the plans. It wasn't what I wanted, I just wanted a sketch so I could say yes or no. It was 50 bucks and I had so much trouble trying to get a hold of them that I just said forget it.

I do think their intentions were good and they just became overwhelmed with jobs from the Big Deal.

They just seem like they had a lot of other jobs going at the same time so they weren't really able to focus on the details of our project.

Not a good experience at all. The guys that work for him are awesome. But Ben would not give me a bottom line on the jobs and we had to keep going back and forth. It was a straight forward job and ran into no extra work or problems and he could still not give me a bottom line or total man hours. They workers are nice guys. They communicated well to me.  They did a nice job. When I expressed my concern to one of the workers they said this was not the first time this had happened.  Grading is based on the workers. 

It went alright, not spectacular, but not poor either. The man who came out was friendly and professional. I got the impression that once he found out I wasn't looking to remodel immediately, the sense of urgancy to finish was lost. He wasn't rude, but there was also no rush on his part.

They have not been responsive. They haven't returned my calls regarding an estimate. Even though they have come out to do an evaluation, I have yet to hear back about anything else.

Ben Reid was very pleasant to work with and seemed to understand what we wanted repaired.  We haven't decided on a contractor yet, and Reid Construction is on our short list when we're ready to go!

I was very uneasy about the quote he provided. He took a long time and the quote he gave me was very high. I got the impression that he would try to up-sell me or say the job would cost more money once the job started. His workmanship may be great, I don't know, but I do know that I've had several other companies came out and they both had better bids, so I will go with one of them.

Ben was extremely nice, professional and punctual. He gave my ?idea? a remodeling. I still am waiting for him to give a ?ball park? on how much I will be spending.  Hope this review helps other Angie?s members. Ben brought a secon contractor to our appoitment which help me see my "idea" in a better picture.

They provided the best price for the service. The two workers who came were very knowledgeable and professional and very nice people. They had to rush over to do the work, because the new stove came. They were very nice and cleaned up very well.

It has been a great experience so far. The guys doing the work were friendly and professional. I felt that there was attention to detail and a genuine desire to do a great job. I will be working with this company again on future projects.

They did a pretty good job for us.

Due to the need to turn this around quickly, Mr Reid could not accomodate us on our terms.  He was very professional and upfront about his availability and did not want to commit to something he could not deliver.  We received a refund.  I would consider using him in the future for any home repair needs.

Ben was wonderful!  We had some peeling drywall that we assumed was water damage.  When Ben came out, he recommended we contact the home builder to repair as it was within the warranty time.  After they took 2 months sending several people out to refuse to repair it, I contacted Ben again.  He quickly and professionally repaired the problem.  i will definitely call him again for the next repair.

Reid Construction was doing several homes in the neighborhood. We liked their work and asked for estimates. Luckily they were able to start within a week. The painting took about a week along with replacing dry rot. The roof and skylight took two days. The painters came back to touch up after the roofing was completed. The workers were friendly and professional. They went out of their way to please the customer. Their work was impeccable. At least eight of my neighbors had their houses painted. Four of us had roofs replaced.

Reid Constuction was on time for their initial appointment.  They were able to locate the problem to the leak and provided a reasonable bid which was detailed with the scope of work. They started the project the following week and completed in a timely manner. Reid Construction and their employees were very professional and considerate of our time table to complete the project. We would recommend them.

They came out and gave an estimate.  Sent me a written estimate through email. 
Set up the date to come and completed the work.   I'm very pleased with my cabinets.
The refrigerator fits perfectly.  They were clean and neat. 

They did good work. There was a little communication problem, but it resolved. The guy that came was really friendly and conscientious.

There were a lot of projects that had been stacking up at my house for years, and having rats resident in the garage and getting under the house was the last straw.  I purchased a big deal (40 hours of contractor time for $1499.00, plus materials).  Toward the end of the job, Mike found some dry-rot in the floor at the back of the house, and that added extra labor time and materials.  Mike did the majority of the work, and he did an outstanding job.  The quality of the work is excellent, he was good company, and he cleaned up very well before leaving. 
I really wanted to give them "A"s across the board, but Ben needs to work on his follow-through.  I made sure to schedule the work while I was home on vacation - making it clear (I thought) that it was important for me to be home while the work was going on - but toward the end my job was re-prioritized behind another one, and Ben didn't let me know until it was too late for me to do anything about my work schedule, and I had to leave a key.  At the beginning of the job, Ben told me he would give me daily invoices for materials, but I only received one for the first day.  It has been almost a week since they finished, but I have not received any more invoices, nor have I heard from Ben at all.  I don't even know how much I owe him.   
I am very happy with the work that was done, and would probably call them again, with the stipulation that communication and follow-through have to improve.

We purchased a $500 kitchen redesign package for $50 so our expectations were low.  They contacted us right away about setting up a time to meet but we weren't ready.  When we called them back, they were able to meet with us.  We wanted to redesign our kitchen to get more space and utility.  We were open to structural changes and possibly adding space.  We wanted a designer to help identifiy ways to maximize space and give us some ideas.  When we met with him for the first time, he asked very few questions and we had to prompt him to consider what we were looking for.  When we met with him the second time, he had left out several key features that we specifically asked him to include.  He as going to redo them and meet again.  We had to cancel the appointment and asked that they send us the newest set of drawings.  We've never heard back from them, we've never received the updated drawings and we've never followed up because we were so disappointed with what they provided.  In our opinion, we could have done the same thing with basic home redesign software and saved the time and trouble.  As a contrast, we have been working with another designer who prepared 6 different design layouts for us after meeting with us and asking a lot of questions about how we use the space and what we were looking for.
