Amigo Landscape

After meeting with several other landscapers, I decided to go with Joe because of his knowledge and fair pricing. He gave me all my options as well as some great advise. His crew was prompt, polite and hard working. Our yard came out great and everything was done on time and within budget. Originally I planned on doing my own maintenance after everything was finished but they did such a great job that i decided to use Joe for all of our yard maintenance as well.

Joe and his team performed a variety of landscaping activities. To start, his team was tasked with pruning approximately 15 overgrown shrubs and a few trees. This was followed by the cutting down of two dead white birch trees in the front yard. Once completed, his team focused on reestablishing an irrigation line to provide water to the shrubs, flowers and trees in the backyard. They found multiple leaks on the drip line and repaired as necessary. They also found two additional leaks in the front yard and repaired those as well. The final activity was to remove approximately 9 yards of old redwood bark and replace with new bark. Prior to replacing the bark, the team applied a weed barrier cover to prevent weeds from surfacing. All the work was completed as planned. Joe and his team were very professional in terms of open communication of any changes, punctuality, and quality of work. For the four days of scheduled work, Joe and his team always cleaned up before departing for the day. I was very satisfied with Amigo Landscape and would highly recommend them for any landscaping work. Moving forward, I plan to have them perform monthly maintenance for both front and backyard landscaping needs starting next month.

Cannot speak highly enough regarding the work done by Amigo Landscape. Joe (the owner) was Johnny-on-the-Spot with all communications, and made numerous drive-bys during major storm just to inspect that rain gutters were working fine. He and his crew did an amazing amount of work, all in a timely fashion, and all within budget!!! My very highest recommendation!

I called them and got a return phone call within ten minutes. It turns out that we were outside their service area, but they took the time to talk me through various issues that it may be and how I might diagnose them and how to figure out who to call next for assistance. Absolutely wonderful customer service and I would absolutely suggest contacting then. Just not if you live down in Modesto Stanislaus county area. The only reason I said I wouldn't use them again was because as a yes and no question I wouldn't as I am outside their service.

I contacted Amigos and they responded quickly via e-mail and we began our exchanges with clearly communicated expectations regarding the fence repair and yard. After I sent him the location where the work would be performed, he went and took a look the next day and sent his report and estimate that evening. Once we agreed upon the work and price, he gave me details of what would happen and when. The day after that, I arrived to what looked like a new place!! I was so pleased and impressed by the quality and professionalism of the work done that I called all my friends looking for a good fence and landscaping person. Thanks so much!!!

So far it has been perfect. Some companies will do work, but I wanted to also maintain my yard. Also, they texted the day before to inform me to turn sprinkler off before they come to mow.

I spoke with Joe over the phone, who was very friendly and professional. I told him I just moved into my home and needed lawn and sprinkler repairs asap. Joe came out, took measurements, then promised to have an estimate to me by the next day. 2 days later (because as previously stated to him I was in a rush to have the service done) I still had no email with the estimate. I called him and he tells me he sent it. I asked him to send it again. Nothing. I texted him, just asking for a price. He texted back an estimate of $2900, then tells me he's booked for the next 4 weeks! Ugh! I told him at the start of the conversation (before giving my address) that I was in a rush to have service done. So disappointed Angie's list! My search for a professional lawn service continues.. :-(

Tom and Chewy showed up on time. After a very short explanation of what was to be done, they got to it. No muss; no fuss, just two pros doing their jobs. They trimmed the trees and shrubs, cleaned up the ground clutter and applied weed killer. They then took the clippings to the dump. In less than two hours. Well done, gentlemen. And, thank you.

Joe is very responsive and knowledgeable. he came by and looked around. House had been vacant for awhile before we moved in. Happy with all services done, using monthly service now as well. thanks also to Tom. Looks so much better!

After the initial contact was made and a date was set up for the work to be done the work started on time as promised. They trenched their way from the back using the best way for the water to travel using the natural slop of the property. They ran it to the street from both sides of the house. They were always working and always cleaned up after themselves. The job took no longer than two days and they didn't leave big piles of dirt around, they smoothed it all out. We are very pleased with the job that they did and would and will hire them again.

Excellent! Joe was very responsive and we set up the initial appointment very quickly. He had great ideas for how to make the area attractive again. We are very happy with the results. I would definitely contact Amigo Landscaping for future landscaping AND give recommendations to friends!

They're very good. It looks good. They're reliable, they're here when they say they are and you don't have to go out there and tell them each time, 'Do this, do that.' They do what needs to be done. If the grass doesn't need cutting because it's winter, they do other things. They do some repairing on my fence and that kind of thing.

It's been a long time since started work - sometime have a hard time getting together. The fence turned out beautifully and once started they were done in a few days. Joe is detail Oriented and ensures his contractors clean up after their work. So far so good. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project. But that may not be until Fall. I will continue to use him for projects - Joe at least shows up and comes back with a quote - more than I can say for the other landscapers I reached out to.

Joe Olivares is A #1 in my book. He does a job the way you would do it yourself. He is very friendly and accommodating and has great ideas. His workers, especially Tom are thorough and courteous. He leaves no stone left unturned.

The experience has been very good. They're good, very helpful and came up with a game plan prior or at the original visit. They say they'll come on Friday, they'll come on Friday.

He was on time. Did what appears to be an exellent job. Cleaned up really well. Professional demeanor, communicated well, pleasant personality. I would use his services again and recommend him. On the lawn repair, however, I reserve judgment for later. The pruning and trimming looks quite good. Jean Weiss

I called Amigo landscape on Sunday not really expecting to hear from anyone until Monday. I was pleseantly surprised when Joe got back to minutes later to let me know he had a guy willing to come out and take a look at my leak. Tom arrived within the hour and began working right away. Being we have a small farm he had the additional challenge of dealing with our small goat herd while trying to uncover the broken pipes. Occasionally one of the goats would drink his coffee or run off with a bag of fittings but Tom dealt with it good naturedly. He completed the repairs quickly and at a reasonable price saving me a lot of time and frustration. We are planning more work in the future and will make Amigo landscape our first call.

joe was punctual and had the job done in one day. He did everything he said he would do and more. i would reccomend Amigo Landscape because they do wonderful work.

Everything went well. Tom had a positive attitude.

They offer very agreeable pricing. I have been utilizing their services for 3 years. They do the job well. I had all these leaves on my front yard. I asked them to just mow them and then spread them in the garden and they did just that. They are good about listening to my needs and wants. I am looking into doing additional brick work with them. He can be a day or so late if he has a lot of extra work on his plate.

I was very impressed with them. He was a very nice fellow. He was very prompt. They did what they were supposed to do and I was really happy.

This month I started using Amigo Landscape for yard care at my new home in the Rolling Hills area of Fairfield. Currently using them for bi-weekly yard care. Interviewed a few people before selecting them. I found them competitively priced. Joe was very responsive over the telephone. Tom came to the house and was very enthusiastic and pleasant. So far they have have provided service only two times, so I will post an update after a couple of months, although so far it looks like I will continue to use them. SM

He did some extra work at no charge which was great. Seemed to rush the job a bit. Would have like the trees have been shaped more.

They were on time, very professional and did a great job. I would surely hire them again, in fact we are having the redo the entire back yard. Joe is a pleasure to work with. I Highly recommend Amigo.
