Description of Work: When you think about hiring a gardener, your expecting someone who knows a lot about plants and the proper care for these plants, i.e., when to feed, looking for problems with fungus, and appropriate trimming and pruning. This service is nowhere near this type of expertise. This gardening business focuses on making your lawn appear just mowed and leaves blown off the sidewalk, all in a matter of about 30 minutes. The worst part, I requested this service to be done, bi-weekly on the set day of week and time, which they followed only twice. The third service and thereafter, they decided whenever they had the time, that I would have to wait til they worked the other customers yards. My previous gardener was my neighbors son who faithfully mowed my lawn EVERY SUNDAY with the exception of rain, just my front lawn for 20/month. I re-hired him to do my front at 30/month. He is now gone to college, and I am again at a loss with another gardener who is very inexperienced but is willing to be there on the set day so I know who is in my yard at a given time. A real shame that those who with a gardening business fail to obtain the knowledge and skill that is needed to look like an ALL-STAR.

Description of Work: An employee of Amigo came to look at work to be done in yard after dark. We discussed some ideas although I don't know how he could really grasp the work to be done when it was dark. It took more than a week to get back to me to say the distance was too far for him to do the work. I will not use this service again.

Description of Work: Very happy with the work performed. The clean up fee was higher than another quote but the monthly fee was less. We have used Joe for other jobs since first contacting him 2 months ago.

Description of Work: We live in the San Gabriel Valley the demographics for our are area are hard working middle to upper middle class people I think you folks at Angies List have suggested high priced workers that quite frankly we can not afford!! I have not renewed my subscription because we are not receiving good leads for people in and around our area....we are the east valley not the northwest valley.....

Description of Work: Joe and his crew came to my home and cleaned up an area of my home, the side of the house which had been overrun by weeds for literally years. I first called Joe in the morning a couple of days before and he immediately called me back, I'm just going to say he was the only one to return my call immediately(in my book that means and says a lot), I knew once I spoke to Joe on the phone he was the guy I wanted to work in my yard. He is professional in every since of the word. He came out and looked at the area and gave me an estimate I thought was completely reasonable and him and his crew came and cleaned out the area in several hours, He even added a weed killer that would make sure nothing ever grows back again. JUst a little note (Joe also sprayed other parts of my home where little weeds were popping up) without even being asked to do so. I thought that was just awes

Description of Work: They mow and edge my yard every two weeks. They also trim the bush and any additional clean up. They recently have been planting ground cover and rose bushes. They have even worked on my sprinkler system.

Description of Work: They cleaned up and took care of my yard in the back and the front. They trimmed some rose bushes and stuff.

Description of Work: The work has not been performed yet, but is scheduled to happen the week of 3/4/13 to 3/8/13. They have been very responsive and provided me with numerous options to choose from. Provided a definite plan of action for the work to be done and how it can be done in stages to meet my schedule. They arrived on the day promised to provide an estimate and delivered the estimate in the time frame indicated. So wonderful working with Amigo Services and will continue to use them for the monthly maintenance on my yard!

Description of Work: The former tenants didn't take care of the yard work so it looked like a jungle when they moved out. Amigo landscaping came out and did an amazing job trimming everything from grass to trees. My lawn looks great now and I should have no problem renting the place out. Great price, fast service, and Joel is a very friendly person. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Joe came out and spent time with me discussing what I wanted done. He recommended many ideas I had not considered, including using a designer from the local community college for a front yard plan and making compost bins. He broke our project into 4 phases and came out to complete the first phase 2 days later. His crew worked in our large backyard for 5 hours (3 men or 15 man hours) taking away old/dead plants and trees, removing unwanted rocks, checking the drip and lighting systems, pruning the fruit trees, and marking the layout for the next phase. He recommended applying miracle grow, and then offered to have his men use some I already had. They applied it to all the plants in my backyard, which would have taken me well over an hour by myself.

Description of Work: My front and side yard was a mess. And I mean mess. Joe called me back right away and came out and gave me an estimate to do the job. He took the time to explain what he would do in detail. That night he emailed me a detailed bid and after a a couple of emails going back and forth to clear up a couple of things before I gave the okay. He sent one of his employees out the next day which was a Wednesday to start the job. This man came everyday for an hour or two and when Sunday came Joe and one helper came out and did the rest of the work. My yard looks 100% better. My yard is all junipers and tree's that were overgrown and weeds all over the place. Words cannot express how impressed I am with Joe's work he did a wonderful job. I found him to be honest and a man of his word. I would recommend Joe.
