The Specialists All Natural Carpet Cleaning

It had been four years since the carpet was last cleaned. During that time we had owned a dog and two cats who contributed to various stains on the carpet. There was also spilled wine and food stains on the carpet as well as daily foot traffic from three people. James, the owner, came and cleaned the carpet. He was asked to work around the heavy pieces of furniture against the wall. My wife and I moved everything else off the carpet. James walked around the house and measured the area to be cleaned. He gave my wife a quote of $163.50 to clean a small hall, two bedrooms, and a living room. Basically, what he had left to clean was pretty easy to get to. James was done in approximately 45 minutes. The carpet looked bright and there was a nice fresh smell in the house. My wife chose this company because they advertise natural carpet cleaning. We did not want any chemicals used. It took approximately 24 hours for the carpet to be totally dry enough to put back the items that we had removed prior to the cleaning.

Everything was clearly communicated prior to the appointment. I knew that they would call before he showed up and when he arrived I found a refreshingly nice guy. He cautioned me that the stains from the previous owner may not come out and I was pleasantly surprised that in fact they did come out and the carpet looks great. He only charged me for what he cleaned by that I mean I told him not to move the bed in the guest room and he deducted the area under the bed. I would recommend this company to everyone I know they are great.

James, the owner, is very pleasant to work with. He answers all questions, explains what he's doing, and cares about doing a good job. He got the dirty pathway areas I was concerned about clean again. We have asked him back next month to clean the tile and grout in other areas of the house.

We were happy with the service we got from them. We will probably be calling them and have them do the other rooms in the future. They cleaned it well and we did not have any issues. They were on time and punctual. They did a free estimate which was very nice.

The Specialists is a wonderful family run company that does an outstanding job. It is really a pleasure to work with both Joy and James. I needed to reschedule our cleaning and Joy made it very easy to do so. She called to confirm our appointment and also called to let me know exactly when James would arrive. James arrived on time and is extremely professional. He worked very hard and was appreciative of the preparations that we had made. He was able to remove every stain as well as the usual day to day wear, making our carpets look like new. We are very pleased that he uses natural cleaning products, allowing us to have clean carpets without exposing our family to dangerous chemicals. While he was here, James also taught me how to take care of stains and provided me with some product. I highly recommend this company and will use them on a regular basis.

The company was "The Specialists All Natural Carpet Cleaning". The owner arrived at the appointed time, and was very cordial. The wall-to-wall beige carpeting had not been cleaned in over a year, and the high traffic areas were noticeably darker. After the cleaning, the carpets look so much better. I am very satisfied with the cleaning job this company performed.

Both James and Joy (owners) arrived at our home to perform the carpet cleaning. They are a delightful couple and very dedicated to providing good customer service and creating long lasting relationships. They arrived on time and immediately put on shoe covers so they wouldn't get our house dirty. They took the time to look over each area to make sure they understood what I wanted done and any problem areas that would require special cleaning. They measured the areas to be cleaned and deducted areas where they could clean around the furniture (bed, three dressers, large sofa). Joy also applied a discount for pre vacuuming which I wasn't aware of. They used corner guards to make sure our faux paint wouldn't get damaged. They also made sure to wipe up any water or solution that somehow got on the tile. When everything was done, the carpet looked great. Somehow, James made a 14 year old carpet look new again.

Went fine. The carpets look very nice and clean now.

Our carpet had a lot of wear, James worked really hard and we loved the result on the carpet. There were patches of areas which dark color due to long use, but after the cleaning it was not visible any more. We also used the Specialists for cleaning Travertine and applying a sealant over the area. They are really good and knowledgeable and very sincere at their work. We had a lot of carpet and travertine to cover in the 2 homes, but James worked with us to work out a good deal. We would definitely use the Specialists again!

My upholstered chair was clean (like new) in less than 45 minutes. My inquiry was answered immediately, he arrived on time and was extremely thoughtful, kind, helpful and very professional! I will stick with this company and refer everyone I know to them! PS the price was very reasonable!

Did a great job. Stairs were a challenge and he gave them extra care and cleaning. Jamie is very friendly and brings lots of "positive energy" to his work... and to your house!! Very professional yet very personable.

They did an excellent job. They're professional and do a bang-up job. I've got nothing bad to say about them. The wife runs the office and is wonderful. They go out of their way to make sure everything is done correctly. The husband is the main tech and he's on time and doing what he's supposed to be doing.

hese people are the real deal. I have a VERY old dog who had started to have bladder issues, I thought my living room rug was wrecked but thought I would try and salvage it. This man and his wife are the nicest people AND they got my rug completely clean! I plan on using them for all my rug and carpet needs. Kindand reliable people who do quality work.

James did a superb job cleaning the wall-to-wall carpets in my home. Our light-colored carpets showed the beating it took from a house guest in a wheelchair and his very large dog during a six-month period. I was hopeful but not very optimistic that the soiled high traffic areas and "accident" areas would come clean. James was conscientious and thorough and was able to get my carpets looking great. The only way it could look better is if I got new carpeting! James and his wife, Joy, were wonderful to work with. Their professionalism was exemplary in every way. They maintained communication throughout the entire process from complimentary estimate to a follow-up call. Beyond their excellent service, they were trustworthy. I would feel completety comfortable giving them a key to work in the house when I wasn't home. I highly recommend them and wouldn't think of calling anyone else the next time the carpets need care.

Awesome job! He called before he came and was on time. He takes his time, does a thorough job, and it is not rushed. Very friendly, and easy to work with. He removed several old stains and left the carpet looking like new. Thanks James, for the remarkable job. We have definitely found our carpet cleaner for the future.

They were awesome! They were a little pricey and more expensive than other people but they did very good work. He's a very nice guy. It's a husband and wife team that owns the place and they were able to remove a Kool-Aid stain that had been in my carpet for years; she was just brilliant. The stain has not come back and I'm not even sure how she took it out. It was a very light carpet and she took it out so I'm willing to pay a little bit more to get very good results. I have a big house and what they charge is solely dependent on how big a house is.

Joy was so nice on the phone, she even called the morning of the appointment to give me an estimated time of arrival. James showed up on time and was very professional and friendly. My carpet is going on 14 years and is in pretty good shape, but very dirty. I just had some remodeling done in my home and my carpet really needed to be cleaned. Right away James brought in some bumpers to protect my corners and he put on shoe protectors. He started cleaning in the back of the house and came and asked me if I wanted to see the difference already. Wow, what a difference, I was really excited to see how the rest of the house was going to come out. James did a fantastic job, my carpets look brand new. I will be using them again.

James always does a great job and everything looks like new when he's done. he is the only one I trust to perform My cleaning. I will never have to look for anyone else great job!

So we have had the carpets cleaned 3 times by other providers here on Angies List, usually as part of a deal. This time, while a deal was considered, we really wanted someone to come out and do it well. Our carpets would always get dirty very quickly after cleaning. I was pretty sure this was because of soap still in the carpet which attracts dirt (what soap is supposed to do!). I read the website for the Specialists and it seemed like they have a good system so I tried them out. In the past while everyone could get the general areas of the carpet clean, no one has ever been able to get the high traffic areas clean. They were always dark bands in our off white carpet. This time, for the first time, they are clean and look like the rest of the house. The stains are likewise gone and the carpet doesn't crunch when you walk on it like it used to after previous cleanings. It's also fluffier than it used to be especially in the traffic areas which were pretty beaten down. My carpet actually looks nice!! Now, aside from the superior results, I have to talk about this company's work ethic. This guy toiled for about 5 hours for what would have been 3 hours had my carpet not been so bad. He could have cut corners but he didn't. He just kept at it until it looked like it should have. He did such an outstanding job, I paid him an extra $75 over what his final bill was. Let me say that again - He did such an outstanding job, I paid him an extra $75. How many times do you hear that? I can tell you from my experience that while he may not be the cheapest provider, this man means to be in business for a long time and sets the bar for carpet cleaning standards very high indeed. I will not call anyone else next time I need my carpets done. I have found my "carpet guy"!

Absolutely wonderful company. Jason arrived on time and did an absolutely amazing job. He took the time to show me the left over soap from the previous owners who used chemical carpet cleaners. We have very light carpet and each room had high traffic areas at the doors. He thoroughly explained the process of what he does and why what he uses is superior to the traditional chemical cleaners. The carpets looked soo much better than I had expected. One negative I have to comment on, is that they asked me to make sure the carpets had been vacuumed really well, however... their website says they do the vacuuming with a high powered vacuum for you. It also says there is a 12 step process.... not true at all. He comes in and looks then starts cleaning the carpets there are zero extra steps. He does spray the carpet with a cleanser right before he steam blasts them. He wouldn't have groomed the carpets either had I not done the protection. It was a brand new house and we waited for them to come before putting in the furniture and they did not provide any discount for not having to move furniture that is included in their price.Overall I was really happy with the service, they are very expensive compared to any other carpet cleaners I've ever hired, but since they are all natural and super professional it was worth it to me. I will hire them again.

We moved into our new home a year ago and was looking for someone that I could use regularly to keep our new carpets and furniture looking nice without a lot of chemicals. First, as someone who works a lot of hours and finds it hard to find time to schedule these kinds of services, I really appreciated that Joycelyn answered the phone right away when I called and found a day that would work for me. I got a reminder call a day or two before the appointment, the morning of, and an hour or so before their arrival which was right in the 2-hour window first agreed upon. I really appreciated being kept up to date and felt confident about the time they would arrive. James and Joycelyn were so nice and very professional and it was clear that they take a lot of pride in their company and work. They explained the process they use and answered all the questions I had. When they were done, the carpets and upholstery looked beautiful and there was no soapy chemical smell. James said to be safe, allow 24 hours for the carpet and furniture to dry but it hardly took any time to dry. I haven't had to use a carpet cleaning service in many years and I didn't compare costs because I really was drawn to the all natural aspect of the service they provide. For me, the service and professionalism was worth the price. I'm really happy with the service and will definitely be calling them again next year.

James was prompt, friendly and professional. He owns the company with his wife and it's satisfying to support a local business owner. He did a magnificent job on our carpet and really went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied. All the stains are gone, including a couple of animal remnants. He didn't try to aggressively up-sell and instead provided great suggestions and areas where he didn't feel we needed to spend extra money for services. Will use this company again for sure.

They are honest, dependable and they didn't try to sell me anything else, they just did what I asked them to do and that was great. They are just very informative.

James was on time and very careful not to damage walls, etc. He pretreated spots and spent extra time on them. The carpets look great!
