Description of Work: Had to call several times, understandable because we were in the middle of a rare rainy season. Had to come out twice because they did not follow instructions to go around back. An internet search says prices should be around $5/ foot installed for seamless gutters. When they finally sent an estimate it was over $10/foot. Definitely a sellers market with the wet weather. Another company Gutter drs never called back

Description of Work: We had to get a roof certification to close escrow, which required flashing repairs, sealing junctions and vents and the removal of tiles to clean debris out of the valleys. Debris in valleys seems to be a more common (and costly) "finding" these days than in the past according to real estate agents I've talked with. Only Roof Doctors could do the work if they were going to certify the roof, so they had us over a barrel as we needed to close escrow soon. Instead of just stating facts or asking for clarification, the initial inspection report speculated about "a homeowner repair for a leak" which was actually foam placed by an exterminator to prevent rats from reentering the attic. Even though it was a serious legal disclosure issue, the inspector failed to change the wording in the report for over a week despite having been provided with evidence of the rat abatement work. The repairman was there for about three hours and charged $1425 + $250 for the certification. Felt like a racket to me.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our roof that was leaking a lot of water through our ceiling during a heavy rain storm. Roof doctors were very responsive came out and assessed the problem. They showed us pictures of the issue and thoroughly explained it along costs depending on the severity of damage. When they came out and fixed the roof they arrived right on time and got right to work, fixing the roof in less than two hours. Luckily damage was minimal and it wasn't a difficult or overly expensive fix. We have not had a problem since even with heavy rain fall. I would recommend them and will use them in the future if a need arises.

 + -1 moreIn consultation with the property manager of my other rental who recommended Roof Doctors, we decided not to go with a repair on this job but instead do the complete re-roof from another company. But not because of a negative experience with Roof Doctors; quite the contrary.
Description of Work: Marc provided an estimate for roof repair, but really gave me great information and advice regarding the shape of the roof and perhaps getting a total re-roof, which his company does not do. Imagine that, a guy honest enough to recommend that the customer NOT utilize his services because it would likely be throwing good money after bad. Professional, courteous, and respectful.

 + 0 moreThe pricing seems lowest among my quotes over 5 contractors. The communication was efficient and they did what was promised. They also sent me the pictures to show the work done as what I request, although I requested to provide before and after pictures and they only provided after pictures without proper labeling. But it is minor. The only major thing I am in question is the place where they replaced broken tile was leaking one Month later in a heavy rain. With previous broken tiles it was not leaking. I am not completely sure it is due to the work done by them but highly suspected it is related.
Description of Work: Replace 2 unmendable tiles. Reset & seal in place slipped tile. Install 1 downspout extender to divert water 2' away from gable edge. Install 2 storm collars on plumbing vent pipes. Blow-out gutters.

They answered promptly, had a good range of dates and times available to perform the inspection, and performed the inspection on time. Inspection report is very basic (but free), and was delivered promptly. They do not seem to perform roof repairs though, just estimates and inspections - they offered to refer my clients to someone who would actually perform the repairs.

 + -1 moreThe company sent an estimator, and faxed the estimate, the day after my phone call, as promised. The appointment was arranged easily. They showed up close to the appointed time. After completing some of the repairs, the person said they needed some tile. A few days later, they returned with tile pieces, and completed the repair. It appears to be in good shape, and has withstood a few good rains.
Description of Work: Replace and repair cracked tile, reset slipped tiles, repair sliced flashing, on Spanish tile roof.

 + -1 moreWhen I purchased my house it came with a 2 year warranty on the roof from the Roof Doctors. The first winter, I noted water marks on an interior wall and discovered a pinpoint hole in a rusted flashing above. I called the Roof Doctors to repair the problem under the warranty. The inspector seemed to take the attitude that I needed to prove this was a problem they were responsible for. I showed him the hole and he dabbed some roof cement on it. I then had to point out to him that there were additional holes in the flashing and he dabbed cement on those. Then I pointed out a spot on a higher flashing that had a defect and he cemented that. I wasn't happy with the fact that he seemed to have no interest in assessing the problem. I was initially unhappy (but now understand that it's the way the warranty works) that they don't fix/repair a problem but just "stop the leak."
Description of Work: They repaired a leak in my roof which originated from a rusted flashing in the valley of the roof.
