Description of Work: Built a15'6" X 22" master suite and bath addition to our 1924 Bungalow. Craftsmen arrived on time and completed work on schedule. Cleaned up job site every day and demonstrated care about surrounding garden. Finished work as promised and charged exactly as expected. The Contractor visited the site at least once a day for the duration of the project Very helpful in all phases of the job from planning to finish work. We will use this company again this Spring to remodel a bathroom. Thanks again for job well done.

+ 12 moreIt was fine, overall. However, it took him three or four weeks to give me the estimate. I thought that was slow. He also gave the highest estimate by over $10,000. I won't be going with him. He was courteous, but I felt that he didn't want the work. He was on time for the appointment.

Communication was not as easy as my girlfriend would have liked but, if you take the time and really listen to what he says and make sure that he understands what you want, you will be satisfied with the results.
Description of Work: He remodeled the kitchen and upgraded many items in the house that had fallen into disrepair over the last 30 years.

+ 26 moreYou can count on Paul and his team to communicate clearly, deliver on commitments timely, and delivery quality. An example is using ball bearing pocket doors versus cheesy plastic ones; he just makes the right choices on behalf of you the homeowner with regard to quality. With Paul, everything is clearly outlined both verbally and in writing, whether the original estimate or changes you ask for during the process. This really eliminates confusion. Once the job is done, if something's not right, you can call Paul and he'll promptly come back and fix it. For example, my microwave/hood was not drawing properly; he sent his foreman Dave back out to fix the flapper. Paul and his team are professional and friendly (even to my dogs), which makes them a pleasure to do business with.
Description of Work: I hired Paul in 2007 to remodel my kitchen and my second bathroom. This included COMPLETE demo, moving inside walls, installing two skylights, custom fitting my refrigerator (like a built-in), installing slide-in range, dishwasher, stackable washer/dryer, all new custom cabinets, tiling floors, back splash, Silestone counter, new electrical, new exhaust fans, new copper plumbing, redirected existing HVAC, faucet installs, pendant and canned light installs, paint and pocket doors. This job also included tearing out cracked concrete in the driveway and pouring/staining/stamping a new driveway and footpath to door. I also got a new garage door and iron fence on the side of the garage. Previously I have hired Paul and team to do several other jobs. First demo and then install my sizable deck and shade structure with IPE hardwood (including multiple sections and curved areas around the pool). I also had them do a simple remodel of my main bathroom two years ago - new tub, toilet, tile, granite counter top and sink and the removal of heinous old wall paper. I've also had them install several windows in my home, as well as a new etched glass front door.
