Anchored Tiny Homes

Do not trust this company! They will take your money and run! I have paid the large sum of $78K and they have done absolutely zero work on my property. Today I received an email from the company stating they are filing bankruptcy! DO NOT HIRE them under any circumstances! There are hundreds of customers that have similar experiences that I have. They also do not pay their workers! This company is extremely shady.

I hired them in September 2022 to build an ADU and JADU in my detached garage. The city of San Diego was changing their regulations and I was told by the city that if I had my plans in by the end of the year that they would be grandfathered in when the code changed in 2023. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED Colton can you submit these plans before the end of the year? He said absolutely yes. After I signed the contract and paid the deposit, communication ceased. I had to hound them to respond to me. 6 weeks before the deadline, I was told they couldn’t do it. By that time, it was impossible to hire someone to complete the plans before the deadline. I got my money back but they screwed me badly. I would rather stick pins in my eyes than deal with Anchored Tiny Homes or the Paulhus family of hustlers ever again.

Anchored Tiny Homes did an excellent job on our project. The quality of their work and service were superlative. Guests who have seen the TH were amazed at how beautiful the project turned out.
