Super Shooters team did a great job giving us a new ceiling in our older home. The texture looks great and the additional wall repairs we needed also look great and were done at a very reasonable price. Thanks Frank and Team!

If you're reading this, it's likely that you need popcorn ceiling removed, and you should probably just do yourself a favor and hire the Super Shooters. Keith, Frank, and team were responsive, friendly, and punctual, and most importantly, they did beautiful work on our home. We had popcorn ceiling removed throughout our entire 1900 sq foot house and it took them 2 days to remove, retexture, prime, and paint. The difference in our home is just gorgeous, and you would never know (besides the new gorgeous ceilings) that they were there. No mess left behind, and all fixtures returned. You can decide to prime and paint yourself if you prefer not to pay for that extra service, but the headache and effort it saved my husband and I (who are trying to do things as affordably as possible) was completely worth it. Thank you, Super Shooters!

Keith and the Super Shooters are the best home professionals we’ve worked with since moving into our new home a few months ago. The project was removal of popcorn ceiling (no asbestos remediation needed, thankfully) and retexturing of ceiling throughout the house. He demonstrated excellent customer service from start to finish. Every text or phone call, if not immediately answered, was promptly returned. He was flexible and amenable to our questions and requests. He gave great advice on the selection of texture type for the ceiling. When we asked to do the painting ourselves to save money, he didn’t balk, but instead gave us a realistic assessment of the difficulty of the project, and instructions on how to be successful. They helped us prep for the painting by leaving the dropcloths in place and the light fixtures/vents off the ceiling, but then returned to replace the fixtures when we found ourselves unable to figure out how to do it. His staff showed up on the right day and time and finished the job on time and on budget. The wall-ceiling junction is definitely imperfect (chipping of drywall) but I think that’s unavoidable with popcorn ceiling removal, and we plan to cover it with crown moulding. They accepted payment only after they were finished and we had done a walk-through to review the work. I only wish that they could do all our home remodeling projects!

The end result looked great. Getting scheduled, details about the process, and punctuality were not as smooth. Plus, I had a drapery issue after they rehung the drapery for me. Not sure if it was their screws or the ones originally used (existing drapes with purchased home last year), but the whole thing pulled out of the wall a month later. It may have been originally installed that way, but am now having a service do repair / replacement.

Keith was great when he came out to do estimate. He calculated (very accurately!) the square footage of each room & hallway in his head and we were very pleased with the price. Our house was built after 1978 so there was no need to worry about asbestos. We booked the service for two weeks later and Brandon & Frank did a fantastic job. The whole thing was done in one day and we were pleased with how little clean up there was afterwards.

When Super Shooters arrived, they initially indicated that there appeared to be an issue with the framing done by the electricians. They said it could be remedied, installed the drywall, taped, mudded and textured the ceiling. After I primed and painted, I noticed that the outline of the lightbox was still visible. I called Super Shooters and the owner Keith came out to inspect the work. He agreed that the outline of the lightbox was still visible and much to my relief, agreed to make it right. He also said that they would prime and paint the ceiling since I had already done that myself the first time. Frank came out to remove the drywall panel and adjust the framing so that the drywall would be flush with the existing ceiling. He then reinstalled the drywall, taped, mudded and textured--assuring me the whole time that it would look 100% better after he was done. He was right as the patch is now undetectable. . Jack then came out the following week to paint the ceiling and then complete some touch up on another day. He also did a great job. I am 100% satisfied with the work now and very impressed how Keith was a man of his word and made sure that the job was done right. I'm also impressed and thankful for Frank and Jack's work and their commitment to make sure that the job was done right as well. I would highly recommend Super Shooters to anyone looking for a company to do drywall repair and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future as they truly stand behind their work.
Description of Work: Super Shooters installed drywall and applied texture to the kitchen ceiling. This was done after I had hired an electricians to install recessed can lights to replace the existing recessed fluorescent light box. The electricians also framed the light box in preparation for the drywall.

Everything went fine, but once the paint dried we realized we needed a second coat of paint. You could see some swirls of paint that stood out. We contacted the owner, Keith Martin, and within a couple of days he came out and looked at the ceiling and agreed with us. Within two days he had our ceiling painted again and it turned out perfect. Very nice and pleasant people to work with.

From the initial inquiry to the end of the job, they were friendly and professional. I never actually met any of them. I did the contract via telephone and then email. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled workday. My wife met them at our place and gave them a key. The Super Shooters team came and went for 3 days while they were doing the job. My wife met them at the condo on the third day and inspected the place, got our key, and wrote a check. All of it was as easy as it can get...except writing the check (but it was a fair price for sure considering what was involved)! Now that we have the "new" ceilings painted, they look just like the walls. Unless I told you that there had been a “popcorn” ceiling removed, you would never know. The work was that good. I am a super happy customer. The Super Shooters crew did an excellent job and the entire process was a lot easier than I had imagined. I highly, highly recommend Super Shooters. NOTE: My condo was mostly empty of furniture and nobody was occupying it when this work was done. Removing ceilings that contain asbestos is a major undertaking. They needed to set up a decontamination shower and seal off each room. If you are living in a dwelling while this work is going on, it's not going to be completely painless. That said, I am very pleased with the company, the work that they did, and the fact that our condo no longer has "popcorn" ceilings.
Description of Work: I contracted with Super Shooters to remove all acoustic ceilings (AKA "popcorn" ceilings) from a 1300 square foot condo that had been built in 1973. The ceiling material contained asbestos. I wanted all of the acoustic ceiling removed and the ceiling texturized so it was ready to paint. Super Shooters gave me a very reasonable estimate to paint it but I had already engaged the services of a painter to paint the entire interior of the house.

It well very well. They protected everything with plastic sheets so it was clean when job was done. It did not take very long - just a few hours. Very courteous employee. Amazing job.
Description of Work: A few years ago, I had an old air conditioner and 2 heaters that were removed and only rough sheet rocked over then (not plastered) as well as various large and small cracks and small holes that needed plastering. Everything went very well. We needed some help ASAP as a portion of our ceiling collapsed and our living room was a huge mess. Even though Keith was busy that day (we called in desperation for anyone to come and give us a quote) he was able to send one of his guys (Thanks CJ!) over that same day to give us a quote. We ended up going with Super Shooters because their price was so competitive. Overall they did a great job and we are really happy with them. We will definitely hire them again! Thanks Keith and your entire time. We are happy customers and no more hole in our ceiling!!! Yay!

Went fine. Keith did it for half the price of the other guy who quoted, who was on a hard sell to completely re-skin several rooms. Keith realized the walls were a type of plaster instead of drywall, and would need slow-drying mud. He diagnosed the cracks as somebody using some kind of pre-drywall plaster panels. It was a 1950s-era hack that didn't really work. The walls were cracking along each panel. They had obviously been fixed and recracked multiple times. The ceilings with large numbers of ex-can-lights are smooth as can be. Everything else was done efficiently. They addressed the living room with the slow-drying mud, but we got bubbles in several other places after they left. Keith said he should have remembered the old stuff might pull off when it got wet with new mud, so he redid a lot of that room at cost only to make it perfect. He warned me the dining room was going to be a problem and had about 50% chance of not working. Yeah, it didn't. He suggested giving up on being the Nth person to try to fix the original misguided job. So he put quarter-inch drywall over it. Not wonderful but I can see that is a better (or at least much cheaper) solution than pulling everything off and redoing from bare walls. And I can see the modern drywall is a known, predictable quantity that should not lead to cracks down all the walls in a few years.
Description of Work: I had removed a large number of can lights in a large house and needed those holes patched. I had up to 12-16 in several rooms. I needed other holes fixed after electrician work, and I had a room that had cracks under each beam. The living room had old tape starting to come off in places.

This company came highly recommended by several other contractors we have working on our property. The resulting work was great - very smooth walls with barely an imperfection to be found. Ceilings look so much better without that dingy popcorn covering, too. My only constructive criticism, and something others should keep in mind: they didn't do a great job caring for removed light fixtures and other items. We nearly lost our original-to-the-house, period door chimes, something that others might get rid of happily but something we really treasured about the house. We found parts of it shoved in scrap cardboard boxes and the chimes cast aside in a pile destined for the dump. We also still can't find a hallway light fixture that I really wanted to reuse. It wasn't a fancy piece and replacing it won't be expensive, but It was the only black mark on work otherwise done very well. Despite this, Keith, the owner, is very nice to work with and their pricing and workmanship can't be beat.

This was the best experience I have ever had with contractors. They were polite, professional and my room looks beautiful. They obviously have had years of experience because they came on time and steadily worked. They took down blinds with care and put them back up better than they were originally. Everything was very clean when they left. That is saying a lot because my experience with contractors is that they dont care. But these people care about their work and take pride in it.

Kevin did a great job. He arrived on time, and went right to work. He made sure that the kitchen and dining area was completely sealed off. We had removed wallpaper and wanted the texture to match the ceiling exactly-and he delivered. After completing the job, our kitchen and dining area was spotless. He also charged less than the local guys here in Woodland. We will definitely use Super Shooters again when we are ready to remodel our spare bathroom!

The entire job took four days. The owner of Super Shooters, Keith, explained the various steps involved and clearly laid out what to expect during each phase of the job. On day one Paul and Darren showed up on time and first covered the surfaces they'd be walking across and adjacent to the work areas with plastic sheeting before any work began. They removed all of the wallpaper; then prepped and sealed the wallboard. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving for the day and even told us how long to run the fans in order to dissipate the fumes from the wallboard sealant. Day 2: Paul and Darren showed up when expected in the morning. The walls were sprayed with drywall mud pumped in from a hopper. Paul and Darren actively monitored how the material was curing, and at the appropriate time, they hand-finished the walls matching the new texture to the existing walls in our home. Again, everything was cleaned up prior to their departure, and we were advised what to expect when Jack arrived to start painting the next day. Paul was a true professional. Kudos to both he and Darren! Day 3: Jack and Darren started the painting. Jack told us that the special paint we were using required at least 6 hours between coats and that the work would thus take one more day than originally anticipated by Keith. Day 4: Johnny showed up promptly at 8 a.m. to finish the painting, which took him the majority of the day. His work was meticulous. He treated our home as if it were his own, taking extra care with all the details. He was an exceptionally hard worker with a very pleasant personality. Day 5: Jack returned to do touch-ups and to make sure we were completely satisfied. He removed all the remaining equipment and packaged up the left over paint for us. Bottom line: These guys are the real deal and worthy of all their great reviews. We've had many home improvements done in the three homes we've owned over the years. Keith's Super Shooters were the cleanest and most considerate contractors we've ever worked with. Their professionalism and pride of workmanship were apparent throughout the entire project. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat! They're a great team.
