The technician, after trying several scenarios to get the move to play, told us that he was not able to do so at that particular time, however, he said he was pretty sure that the head office could fix the issue on Monday. We did try to play the movie on Monday evening (it worked!!!) and shortly after we finished watching the movie, the tech called to inform us that the problem had been resolved. I thanked him for his follow up of the situation and his return call and informed him that we found out that the problem had been fixed since we had just watched the movie that we had been trying to see.

The cleaned up after they were finished. Did not complain about having to crawl under my house. Very professional and cordial. I would gladly have them install my services again in a different house. Overall pricing is comparable. The services Suddenlink provides is stellar compared to other services offered by other companies. I recommend either making a switch to suddenlink or if new to the area or just needing services CALL THEM!

I haven't had any contact with them other than paying my monthly bill. They installed 4 years ago. I don't think there was any cost for the installation. I didn't pay anything when I had it set up. The service seemed to be pretty consistent now. In the beginning, there were some issues in the hardware. We swapped our hardware to make sure that we have the right configuration but mostly I had that sorted out. Their price is pretty consistent. It doesn't go up a lot. It hasn't changed much over the 4 years so that's just small increases.

Suddenlink's ads are deceptive when they say and quot;everything is easyand quot;. I spent over 20 minutes on hold trying to get customer service on the phone. The quality of Suddenlink's internet service is poor. There are frequent gaps in the connection, somtimes several a minute. I have mostly given up trying to watch videos such as YouTube, since the videos hang up frequently. My streaming stock quotes hang up the same way. I have not tried to get Netflix because I don't believe Suddenlink's cable servie would be able to handle it. Maybe Suddenlink wants it that way, since Netflix is a Suddenlink competitor. My cable based telephone service goes offline about one a month or so and screws up my telephone-based home security service. Switching from HD to non-HD channels sometimes screws up the cable box and creates an unstable picture. When this happens, I have to unplug the cable box and wait a few minutes while it reboots. This happens 1-2 times per month. Please note that you cannot get NBC on high definition in Humboldt County. Suddenlink's representative tried to blame this on the local station, but that argument does not hold up, as Suddenlink has a long history of raising it's rates regularly. I am a Suddenlink customer because I don't have a viable alternative for my internet service. If all you need is cable TV, consider other options carefully before signing with Suddenlink.
