Six days from first contact to completion. They handled the permit and inspection, gas line extension and installation. Very neat and professional job,

We were very pleased with the professionality of the technician and his explaining what had been done very carefully. Initially we called because water had entered the crawlspace due to heavy spring rains and we feared the furnace had been damaged, which it had not. He arrived exactly on time as to our appointment.

The heater that they installed was very efficient. It costs a lot less to heat my house. I appreciate them reminding me of when I need to change my filters.

Overall it was an outstanding job, ontime, on budget, the employees were professional efficent and courtious, also left the house clean when the job was complete. I used to hire contractors to work for SBC(Now AT&T) and I can assure you that these guys are first class contractors.

They made the appointment, the Tech arrived on time did the work quickly and efficiently and left the area clean and orderly and I was charged a fair price for the work. The only complaint now is there isn't much left that they can do for me now unless I decide to add air conditioning.

All three jobs were done correctly with a minium of discomfort to the home owner, area was left clean and the work was completed on time as advertised for the agreed price. I observed a lot of the work and having worked the trades noted that it was done safely and completely and I don't think I ever heard one curse word spoken the entire three jobs. Overall I rate Evans Mech. an A+ The owner Tim Evans visited each and every job before completion to observe work in progress and insure customer satisfaction. Rest assured I will hire them again.

I contacted Evans for an estimate on how I could make the old electrical heating system in my retail shop more efficient. They showed up on time to assess the project, and then I never heard from them again. Very disappointed.

They are professional, efficent and the best game in town. On time and on budget. They also cleaned and inspected the tankless water heater they'd done for me the previous year, no charge. The work wasn't disruptive and they didn't leave a mess after they completed the work. I'll hang five stars on Tim Evans and his outfit they are the best and I'll be happy use them again.

We had hoped to install a new energy-saving heater but unfortunately the way our house is built it was not possible. They then helped us select the next best choice. Installation went smoothly. They are very professional and we would use them again.

For every visit 2 men arrived and charged for. First the leak was attributed to a gasket that had to be ordered from the tank company. After weeks the gasket was installed and the leak continued. Some time later the 2 men returned and said that the company that made the tank said that the tank lining was cracked. The company would never have given them a diagnosis of the problem over the phone. The tank was still under warranty so a new one was ordered. Three or more weeks later we discovered that the tank had arrived but Evans hadn't let us know. They finally came and installed it on a Friday. Saturday morning I realized that I only had barely lukewarm water. I called immediately. After several follow ups on my part someone came on Tuesday and said that this tank was different than the one removed and needed an additional hook up. The tank was identical to the one removed, they had spent close to 3 hours to do a job that, at most, should have taken 1 1/2 hours and had done it wrong. Although they charged an hourly rate for both men there was never a need to have 2 men on the job. They took as much time as they could to do what they had come to do. Most of the time they were just chatting with each other. The final bill was $900. We had a meeting with the manager and said no to the bill. After much discussion, including info from other plumbers they decided to cancel the bill. I think they knew what their chances were in court. They never gave an estimate. (I had to put $18.20 in the box that asks how much was spent because it wouldn't accept a zero.)
