DARRYL BERG & ASSOC

Description of Work: I retained Daryl Berg & Associates to paint the exterior of my home, approximately 1500 square feet. I had extensive rusting of the nails used for the side board, which required treatment before painting. Daryl Berg & Associates were the only painters from whom I obtained bids (and there were a few) who not only advised affixing a "non-rust" material on the rusted nails (all bidders recommended this) but also, recommended scraping/sanding some of the side board/siding, caulking where necessary and adding caulking where some nails had been hammered in too far. They also recommended caulking around my windows for areas that needed it, and a few other preparation items which no other bidders included in their recommendations of prep work. And their bid was within the same "ball park" of the other painters who provided bids. All items were listed in their written contract for work. Daryl Berg and his sons are professional, polite, punctual, and did an excellent job and where places needed to be "touched up" after they finished the week, they came back on a Saturday to do so, and make sure everything was done right. I appreciated the extra time, and touch ups. I office out of my home, and they were not intrusive or noisy. I would highly recommend them and hire them again.

Description of Work: I used Darryl Berg painted 240 running feet of running white picket fence for me. They had to clean all the mould off, rebuild a part of it and then paint it.
