+ -1 moreThere was basically no prep done before painting. The vents on the house and the lift are metal and had rust. The rust was not sanded to flat and no rust resistant sealer or paint was used. As a result the lift looks as bad if not worse than it did before he painted it. Rotten trim was painted over and not called to my attention. He basically didn't do the work. He would come , stay a little while and then leave his helper.
Description of Work: Painted the trim , enclosed front porch and handicap lift.

+ -1 moreWhile the work was being done, things went very well. The preparation was not done properly and the paint was applied over damp wood, resulting in peeling and bubbling.
Description of Work: The paint job began to fail in less than a year after completion and Mr. Blanchard did not return calls to come an do touch-up. The entire exterior was in need of paint in less than 5 years, not long enough for it to last. This was the entire exterior of our 4,200 square foot home, two stories with attached garage.

Description of Work: Art Blanchard is the Best painter I have ever had he was at my house when he told me he would be here . Art made sure I was satisfied with his painting job. I needed some new siding on the back of the house and he set me up with someone to do the job after the new siding was done Art came back to paint it and 2 of my nighbors asked me for his Phone number so they can have him paint there house.

+ 0 moreArt is always professional, working around tenant needs. His work is very good. One house, a historical Victorian won a Historical Society restoration award due in part to the quality of his work. His prices are reasonable. He starts and finishes as promised.
