Description of Work: Zech Plumbing did a job for me earlier this year.

Description of Work: I needed a whole-house repipe to replace the boondoggle polybutylene pipe before the same disaster that has happened to my neighbors happened to me.

Description of Work: Replacement of water valve.

Description of Work: I had a main water pipe leak which required going under cenment in the front yard. My neighbor's told me this was a very good price. They were friendy and courteous and did a great job in clen up.

Description of Work: Swap out exact over-mount kitchen sink.

Description of Work: John did initial work on my sewer and was great. His brother Leo came back to the house to check the washing machine, dishwasher and inspect under the house. Had to clear another clog and refit drain for washer.

Description of Work: Repaired water leak on water line between meter and house under concrete and brick front walk. Instead of just using a jack hammer and leaving the repair of the repair to me, they brought in a concrete sawing company that did a super clean job. After the leak was found and repaired the cut concrete was repaired in an OK manner. When I was called about the concrete repair and said it was OK they asked "only OK" most companies would have ignored the comment and asked where's the check? Instead they came out and agreed it was not up to standard and asked if I wanted it torn out and replaced. I didn't want the mess so they took $100.00 off the job which I thought was more than fair since it was OK.

Description of Work: My expensive three-year old toilet was making funny noises, running at odd times, and the refrigerator ice maker was making a funny noise. I also had a downstairs toilet that needed the guts replaced every other year. I thought these were all different problems. The Zech plumber looked at the toilet and then checked the water pressure to the house. It was almost double what it should have been. The pressure valve was over 20 years old and had gradually lost its ability to work. Anyway he explained to me how these devices work and convinced me to put in a new one. soon. What a difference a new valve made, All water using devices in the house now work just fine. My insurance man explained that most water damage claims resulted from high water pressure and commended me on having it replaced before a pipe broke.

Description of Work: We had to have our main water pipe replaced from the meter to the house (approximately 70 feet) as we had a leak in the original "Blue bell pipe". Since they no longer make this pipe we had it replaced with type L copper. This entailed trenching, installing the new pipe, backfilling and installing a pressure regulator.

Description of Work: We needed a some work done on the sink in our kitchen. and replace drains upstairs in bedroom.

Description of Work: Moved into a fully renovated house - 2nd day my shower backed up into toilets and 2nd bath. Home warranty folks said too bad, not covered as there are no "ground level" clean outs. They sent a plumber who snaked the toilet and took pictures of the line for $400. He did not clear the line, but gave me a quote for $1800. worth of work he could do that "might" fix the problem. I called 2 other plumbers for a second opinion who failed to show up when they said they would. Zech's showed up on time, worked hard to clear the clog without digging up my entire yard. They first ran a snake without success through the vent, then attached a retriever, it got stuck. At the end of the day we discussed my options and the cost. They came back out the next day, with more man power and attempted to pull the clog. When that failed, they cut the concrete on a nice angle, dug down to the main line, cut it, removed roots and rags (almost 2 1/2 feet worth). Replaced the pipe, put in two way clean outs, ran a camera through the lines to the street and to the house to check for cracks, roots or any other possible/potential obstructions. Cleaned everything up nicely. I noted a damp spot in the garage the next day near the washer (which hadn't been run) - they promptly came back out and checked it. There is a drain cap there, which burped while the lines were being cleared. At my request Leo ran my washer to check it for me and put my mind at ease. Water sprayed out of the drain pipe, it was too small for my washer hose. Leo agreed to come back out to replace that and promised to run both my washer and dishwasher at that time to ensure they work correctly, and that there are no more plumbing issues.

Description of Work: Toiled was seeping water at the base. He removed the toilet and resealed with a wax ring.
