They were prompt and took extra steps installing each so I could do it without sweating pipe the next time. They took this extra step without me even asking. Even though the dispatcher said they were busy, they arrived on time and di not rush the job

I never called him back to do the work. He wouldn’t even return my calls to say yes or no. I just waited and waited and then I had to go find somebody else so that was annoying. I think he was advertised by somebody. John Zech was the one who didn’t return my phone calls. I had a particular complicated job and he came quickly to quote it. I called him back a week later and he wouldn’t even return the call. I didn’t spend any money. I was calling him to do the work. I thought he seemed very professional. He explained why it was so expensive. It was a difficult job and he explained what was difficult about it. That was all very good. Therefore I called him back and said yes and I would like him to do it. The pipes were behind the studs where they are not normally so far behind the stove. It was complicated. I was waiting for days. Then I had to go out and get more quotes. That wasn’t very professional. I think the pricing was fine. When he came for the quote, he was very quick and punctual. I think I would use him once more on a less complicated job.

They were first company to return my call on Monday morning. Very straightforward and honest on the phone. They answered all my questions and promptly arrived when they said they would, 3 hrs later same day. The water heater was installed and cost what they had quoted - no hidden fees or extra charges! I am completely satisfied with their service!

Scheduled an appointment for between 2:30 and 3:30 pm to repair a leaky line to the toilet (which had to be turned off) and received a call at 1:45 pm indicating that they were to busy and wouldn't be able to come.

The quality of service was high but it was way over priced for two hours of work; I have got the same job for about half the price. He was supposed to come back to do a second job that he did not finish but he did not come back or call. I had used the same plumber earlier and he had done a good job then.

Excellent job, pretty prompt, and he was the best person to figure out what the problem was. I don’t know about the company but this specific person was very diligent as far as when he came out to determine where the problem was. PVC is very hard to detect and he was only plumber who took the initiative to try to detect where the problem was. I used the other company just to confirm what he had found. I probably would not use them again in the future because I had a second job and it was the same person but it was way over-priced; it was a simple job.

Great! John S. came on time, in fact a few minutes early. I had been told by 2 plumbers and a handyman that the faucets I had could not be fixed and I would need new faucets and other work and it would be costly. John said he would be happy to install the new faucets but that the existing faucets could be fixed which I chose.. The job came out beautifully. John was extremely pleasant and helpful and explained everything even gave me some tips about future care. I would always use Zech Plumbing in the future. John Zech installed my microwave over a year ago after I had been told it would be almost impossible to do by others. No problem for John Z. .

The repair man was professional, on time and very capable. We have had no problems since.

We just purchased a home and it doesn't have a fridge hookup. We were given an estimated price before. Then we called Zech Plumbing to do the job. The fridge is parallel to the sink and it stands on the wall between the kitchen and the living room. Mr. John came in and found that there is a water line at the ceiling and there is no need to hook it up from the sink. He explained in details of what he is going to do. He ran the tubing through the back of the cabinets. He said the SS Flex is much better than copper when he installed them. The price is much lower than we expected. Our family is happy and we are now enjoying fresh, clear ice and chilled water right from our refrigerator's dispenser. I would definitely recommend them and use their services in the future.

Went very well . . . Zech's has a 1 hour minimum service call for $110, which i felt was a bit much for clearing 1 drain . . office said I could have other services done, up to 1 hour, at no additional charge . . . soooo . . asked to have my bathtub drain cleaned (original reason for call) and then asked to clean the trap under the sink in the same bathrooom, and the shower and sink trap in a second bathroom . . he was able to do all within the 1 hour time frame . . . All in all, I am delighted with the service . . was proactive on shower, but he pulled out a fair amount of hair, so time doing so was not wasted at all . . . Very pleased, and feel I received good value for the money . . I will definitely use Zech's Plumbing again . .

Leo Zeck showed up on time. My guest bathroom's toilet was not holding the water in the tank. I was very happy with Leo Zeck because he quickly identified the flapper as the problem and took care of the matter. Moreover, before I could point it out Leo noticed there was a little give on the tank and tightened the screws. He also shortened a hose in the tank that he thought might be be interfering with the flapper. Last year, the other plumbing company I previously used required more than one visit for what ended up being simply a flapper issue. The other group kept pushing for me to buy new toilets despite the fact our toilets work just fine but for the occasional minor maintenance issue.

They were wonderful. We did it proactively because the copper pipes that were put in our house were too thin and other families in our neighborhood has been having problems so whey re-plumbed our house and they re-piped our house and did just a wonderful job.

They did a fantastic job!! Showed on the same day I called but had to come back the following Monday with all the parts which was perfectly okay since I didn't expect them until Monday or sometime the next week. They were prompt and worked diligently to fix the leak in master shower. They completed it like new. Having to cut through the wall to fix this was a relief to see the finished product. I definitely would use them again and they charged less than the estimate. Excellent plumbers who are competent in what they do and their customer service is top notch. I truly want to thank them for their hard work and recommend them to all.

Mr. Zech was great, and very informative. He took time to answer all my questions and he made recommendations that would save us some money. We decided not to do repiping at this time.

We have used Zech many times. I texted Leo who texted me right back that he would be to our house within the hour. Leo arrived and got the job done in 15 minutes leaving my area clean. We love Zech Plumbing.

I initially contacted Zech Plumbing at the recommendation of the termite inspector (who, by the way, was great). The termite inspector found moisture pooling under my mother's house and wanted it inspected and fixed before we went ahead and tented the house. So I contacted Zech Plumbing. Made an appointment for a Tuesday. Gave them all pertinent information and SPELLED the address of the home (it's kind of tricky). One thing I did do wrong was giving them my home phone instead of my cell phone or my mother's phone number. This is my mother's home and I am helping her with needed repairs. That was absolutely my mistake. Come Tuesday I'm waiting at my mother's house for the service person. And wait and wait. So I called them and was told the service man could not locate my mother's house on GPS. Which is weird because the house was built in 1957 and this is a very old and established neighborhood. They had been calling my home phone - I apologized for that and for giving them the wrong number. Well he couldn't even Map Quest the address? Apparently not. Anyway, they sent him on to his next call. Okay - just a big mistake all around. So we set up another appointment for the following Tuesday. I again carefully spelled out the name of the street. I also made sure they had my cell phone number. Come the following Tuesday he does show up and is great. He has to go under the house to inspect for the water pooling - the termite guy had indicated the areas he found water in. Well, this person is none too happy about going under the house - there is only one entrance and it's kind of far away from where he needs to inspect. I apologized but what could I do? He goes under, he inspects. Comes back out. Did not find any moisture pooling, just general dampness. However, he does tell us that all the plumbing underneath is old and very corroded. Which I kind of expected. So I asked for an estimate to repair everything. He gave it and explained everything that would be necessary. He was very nice and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. Then he gave me the invoice for the inspection. I quickly found out why he couldn't find our address - he had spelled it incorrectly, along with our name. I corrected it all on the invoice. He said he would take the information back, check with the schedule and someone would be calling me to set up the appointment. He did warn that the job would probably not happen until late July as they were very busy. Well, I waited and waited - no one called. I was busy but after two weeks I called them back asking why no one had contacted us and would someone please call. They had my cell phone number. The woman on the other end, while somewhat professional, didn't seem overly concerned or apologetic that no one bothered to call us. She simply kept saying we're real busy - we're real busy. I thought perhaps this was code for - we can't do the job - please go elsewhere. If you're too busy, why not just say so? After a while she said she would "remind" whoever it was she gave the info to, to call me. Remind - not tell them to get it done. One week later - no call and I'm through begging them to take my business. They are obviously too busy - which is a good thing for them, I guess. They had my cell phone number - if they got it right - and no one has called. Or if they have, they didn't see fit to leave a message. I halfway expect a call now when someone reads this review but I won't be answering the phone. They may have good quality and good prices but I'll never know. And I certainly won't give them a third chance to get it right.

The Thermocouple died on my water heater, which should be an easy DIY. Turns out, I have a funky heater that was subject to class action lawsuits and such, and the thermocouple is not compatible with anything I can buy. Zech came highly recommended from others in my neighborhood and they were familiar with the situation. They got the needed parts and got a guy to my house the same day. The price was completely fair for the parts and labor involved.

Zech plumbing arrives on time, works the day through, and--as with my house re-pipe---finished the walls up with texture and all. The only part I had to handle was the painting, and since we had not moved in yet, we were repainting everything anyway, so this was no problem. Zech came the next day when I had the disposal replaced. I indicated what I wanted done, and the cost was $250. As a single woman who has responsibility for my 92-year-old mother, I like to keep it simple. The plumber arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was done in a little over an hour. Everything works just like it should!

John brought out a temperature gun to measure the temperature of the concrete where I thought the concrete felt warm. He did this and found no warm spot. He also mentioned that he didn't believe there was a hot water line there either. He offered this for free. Then before he left, I asked how much would it cost to put in a pressure regulator. the water pressure at my house was 90-95 and I've seen it higher. This isn't good on the valves in the house, and the sprinkler valves make a lot of noise when they turn off because the pressure is high. John said he'd send a guy out to do it in a couple hours. The other guy showed up, and did a good job. He even answered my questions about the pros and cons of instant hot water systems and recirculation pumps. Professional, good work, I thought fair price.

Called Zech to assist with leaking bathtub - wish I hadn?t. They sent plumber out on two visits (charged $105/visit) who unsuccessfully attempted to repair the leak. After the 2 nd attempt the leak turned out to be much worse than it ever was before. Called Zech to address this, receptionist said the person who would need to estimate the additional repairs was really busy this week and would follow up to reschedule. This was over two weeks ago. Haven?t heard from anyone and don?t expect to at this point. While the initial repair attempts weren?t made with any guarantee, you?d think a company that supposedly prides itself on customer service would at least attempt to * make it right* after charging $210 to leave a customer worse off than they were before calling?? Will obviously not use Zech again, and definitely would not recommend them.

Zech plumbing diagnosed a broken sewer pipe and determined that the break was 6 or more feet underground. John gave an estimate, and did the repair for the agreed amount, on the agreed timeline. John was very honest and helpful in determining the most economical way to accomplish the repair - other companies wanted to run a bobcat through my landscape - John got his crew to manually do the work, saving my yard a lot of havoc.

Came on time, did a good job. Price was somewhat high, but i forgot to use Angie's list coupon , so my fault too.
