Description of Work: Zech Plumbing did a whole house repipe with Aquapex. In terms of the quality of the major work (the repiping), I was very happy with them. They got the job done in the amount of time estimated, and everything seems fine so far. Overall I rated them a B because of secondary issues: prep and clean-up were not great (I've found lots of drywall texture on my windows); the clips holding the valance on my blinds were broken, and I was not notified (I realized what happened when I found the valance in the garage); they were in my house until 9:30 p.m. the first day of install because one of the workers left earlier in the day with a key part/tool; and a few other things. | |I would recommend them because of the promptness of service, quality, and price, but not without mentioning the (admittedly minor) drawbacks.

Description of Work: There were two failed attempts to install a toilet flange and connection to the main drain line. The first plumber was 1/2 hr late, then he would not go under the house to fix it. We made another appointment for the next week for him to schedule a different plumber. The 2nd plumber was also late, and also could not do the job as he couldn't fit under the house. Since then I've had to schedule another company to do the job.

Description of Work: Fixed slow leaks in 3 Toto toilets, moen shower cartridge, replaced kitchen faucet (we provided unit). Had to order new handles for two toilets. Came on time for first appointment, worked two hours. Made appointment two days later for remaining work. They called to postpone due to another customers plumbing emergency. Came next day and finished work. All work done quickly, cleanly, and well.

Description of Work: Replaced our kitchen faucet (with faucet we purchased), and then then replaced cold side on angle stop. Everything went well.

Description of Work: Fixed a cracked cast iron drain pipe. Excellant service!

Description of Work: We had slab leak due to hot water line on the slab. Zech plumbing re-routed hot water line over head and also installed new laundry single turn valves. They did a good job. After their first day of work, noticed a hammer noise on the new hot water line installed, they came back and fixed it properly. I would use them again and recommend for their quality work.

Description of Work: Excellent service. Called on a Friday evening at around 4:00 p.m. with an emergency leak under our house. They came out at 7:00 and didn't leave until around 10:00 when it was finally fixed. Did not charge overtime and were extremely reasonable. Very professional. They will be my new go to plumber in the future.

Description of Work: He arrived promptly, was very professional,and gave me a fair estimate, as well as explaining what needed to be done. There was no charge for his visit.

Description of Work: Zech came out a couple of weeks ago to work for another place we own. They worked on a sink and a garbage disposal installation. They have done a lot of work for us.

Description of Work: We had Zech come out in April to detect and fix a slab leak. They did and actually on that visit did a pretty good job. Ok fast forward to today, we have another in the same area. We know the symptoms pretty well now considering this is number 5! We inquired as to whether this could be associated with the same one or maybe there were two? The guy got all defensive and implied that the owner was annoyed that we would even suggest that. All of a sudden the slab leak we needed and wanted repaired they have no time or manpower to fix. It might be two weeks before they can get to us. REALLY? Retaliation I think for our comment. Why even bother to come out if you knew you would not be able to fix the problem? We told you what we thought it was. Never again will I call or recommend this company. You just lost a good customer.

Description of Work: I purchased three water heaters, two 75 gal and one 50 gal, and they replaced the three existing units. They showed- up on time, did the work correctly with out an issue and took away the old units. I would use them again for any plumbing work.

Description of Work: We left a message but never received a return call from Zech. We waited an entire day while water was runnung out of our tub faucet before giving up on Zech & calling George Plumbing. We called George Plumbing & they came within a couple of hours for no extra charge. They spent about 4 hours on the repair, which included assessing the problem, going to purchase parts & installing the parts. We thought they were very reasonably priced.

Description of Work: Zech Plumbing re-plumbed our whole house when the polybutylene pipe burst above the water heater. They came in with 3 trucks and had the job completely done and walls refinished in 3 days! They were clean, professional and efficient. PLUS they charged quite a bit less than our neighbor's plumber for the same job. We also threw in a new water heater during the process at a great bargain. I have recommended them to many friends, neighbors and clients since then and will continue to do so.
