+ -1 moreInspection started on time, and was very thorough. This was the 2nd time I used this service, and was very happy. We got a discount for referring our in-laws for this home inspection with THI. Marc, THI's owner, found a sewer company, Pipe Repair Services, to address a root-infested sewer pipe discovered in the drain inspection. Turns out it was the county's responsibility for this pipe. But Marc's support was very appreciated. He is so helpful. He also weighed in on a Kitchen remodel. He is so knowledgeable about how houses work. TheTHI inspector looked at everything, and spent a lot of time explaining what he found in a power point with voice recording that we shared with our in laws, still back East, who are buying the house. They weren't able to be there, but could easily understand what issues he found.
Description of Work: Inspector went over the home my inlaws are wanting to buy with a "finet ooth comb".

Description of Work: After purchasing property discovered drainage issue along side of house not in report and a piece of door trim came off due to improper coaxial cable placement also not in the report. Did not recommend gutter screens that are desperately needed for the site.

Description of Work: I was purchasing a home, needed an inspection and my realtor recommended them. Their price was in line with the going rate. They were great about communication and timeliness. I was at the house for part of the inspection and they were very friendly and open to answering my questions. The inspection report was quick to arrive, organized, thorough and professional. My only complaint is that they told me I had no knob and tube wiring in my house and a contractor later pointed some out to me in an area that was pretty readily visible. They don't make any guarantees that they will catch everything, but I kind of feel like they missed that one.

+ -1 moreMarc was excellent. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection and will use him in the future for any home-related needs.
Description of Work: Home inspection and follow-up. Marc performed a thorough home inspection for my daughter's new house. He was friendly, efficient and clearly knowledgable. Marc created a PowerPoint of the inspection, recording his voice as he talked us through the photographs he had just taken of the house. He also wrote a report detailing the inspection. These were both done punctually and professionally. Marc was available for follow-up consultation, readily engaging in a phone conversation about the house the next week and doing a no-charge re-inspection when work was done on the house.

+ -1 moreHe was very helpful, thorough and experienced. He talked me through the report and gave me some advice about the condition of the home. He also re-checked a couple of things when I asked him about a couple of specific points and then advised me in what to do when I was dealing with another contractor in deciding what the cost of renovation would be.
Description of Work: Marc did the initial inspection for the home I was purchasing. He then came back to look at something more closely when I asked him about the foundation, and then spoke to me on the phone several times to give me advice on the condition of the home.
