+ 6 moreIt went very smoothly. I was not quite satisfied with a few specific details, and they promptly returned to make it right. I would use them again.
Description of Work: Due to water damage, we had a solid deck that needed replaced over a carport. The water damage was more extensive than initially thought, so more work was needed: replacing framing and support wood, drywall, and doors. I needed to contract for decking surface reapplication, and Steve found a reputable company and worked around their schedule. We also found extensive termite damage, so beams needed removed and replaced. That also was coordinated in a flexible manner. They also put in a new French Door for me, and this required reworking the size of the door opening and reframing.

Description of Work: Steve and his wife installed an overhead fan in our master bedroom. It involved moving a light to provide an electrical outlet in the center of the room. They were enjoyable and professional in completing this two-hour project. We would definitely hire him/them again.

+ 0 moreThey did a great job. They always arrived very promptly and were courteous and a pleasure to have in the house. I have had many compliments on the excellent job they did with the tile. As with any remodel in an older home, there were surprises along the way and they always took it in stride and figured out a good solution. Their fees are very reasonable and fair. I recommend them.

He helps pick out colors. He is willing to go to the store and get the materials. He is very punctual. I will use his services in the future.

+ -1 moreThey were professional, had good communication throughout the project and always wanted to make sure we were happy with their work. There was a minor problem with the spacing of the pickets that was mainly due to not having a detailed plan at the start of the project. They corrected all the problems that came up, including a couple of small purchasing errors, to our complete satisfaction. Overall, we got a very good value and are happy with our deck.
Description of Work: Rebuilt second story deck off master bedroom including replacing 6 damaged support posts.

Description of Work: painting large kitchen, dining room, outside doors and trim We have used Steve for over 10 years and all experiences have been great. Needless to say that he has a law degree and his partner has a degree in international business. But this is what they love to do. To sum it up, they are: price competitive, timely, reliable, quality workmanship, clean and punctual and use their intelligence to come up with solutions. We are always comfortable with leaving them in/around the house by themselves.
