Description of Work: I called them 3 x in a row and each time I was greeted with an automated svc that informed me my call was important and that I was being transferred to a rep but then each time it sounded like someone picked up and then promptly hung up on me. Not a good first impression!

Description of Work: Re-roofed a small duplex, removing old roofing and replacing it with rolled roofing on the nearly flat part of the roof and shingles on a sloping area. |They were businesslike and efficient, yet friendly and willing to answer my questions. They started on time and finished on time. And to top it off, their bid was significantly lower than any of the three companies I contacted for an estimate. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Sequoia Roofing won the bid on our new shingle roof pricipally because the owner of the business was very helpful on our decision making as to the roof that was finally installed ,prompt in answeering calls with questions, and He was flexible in working with us as we were not totally sure of the type roof until the last minute. Further, Sequoia provided a very good team both for tear off and installation plus accomodsting is with a couple last minute details. I would recommend Sequoia roofing.

Description of Work: This review is follow up from a negative review I posted on 4/10/2015. After the negative review I contacted Sequoia Roofing and talked with Mike, the owner. I explained my situation and he was very gracious and refunded my money. I don't know of too many business that do that. Sequoia Roofing, thanks for your integrity and I have no problem recommending you to anyone who needs an honest roofer.

Description of Work: The inspector, Juan went up on my roof for 10-15 minutes, came to my door and told me there were issues with the roof. I asked him to put the issues he found in writing. He took my email address to send me an "estimate" of the work that needed to be done. A week or so passed without my receiving an email, so I emailed the owner, Mr.Rochholz, explaining what I wanted. I never heard back from him. I paid $179 for a person to drive to my house, walk on my roof for a few minutes and that's it.

Description of Work: We had to replace the roof of our garage. My husband did all the demolition and laid new plywood. The awesome Sequoia team laid the OSB layer and then sealed everything. Great job!

Description of Work: This was the second time we hired Sequoia Roofing and the quality of the work and the process was first rate. We had other bids that were less, but we went with the Mike because he was always easy to work with, stayed in communication, did not try to sell us what we didn't need and did the work quickly. Also, the crew was very good about keeping things clean and picking up the worksite. First rate experience.

+ -1 moreMike adapted to some unusual requirements of the City of Encinitas just to re-roof our duplex. The crew showed up on time and worked around the rain that was predicted this month in February, 2009.
Description of Work: Mike Rockholz of Sequoia Roofing did a great job installing a new roof for our duplex in Encinitas. He is a certified installer for GAF and was carrying liability and workman's comp. insurance that you MUST have from a Roofing contractor. Having that insurance means you won't face the danger of accidents from an underinsured or unlicensed contractor.

+ -1 moreSequoia Roofing's owner (Mike) came to estimate my roof. He was on time and very personable. He measured my roof and then discussed several different options with me. The other two bidders that I had come out seemed as though they had much better things to do. Sequoia's pricing was right in line with the other two bidders. I chose Sequoia because I felt comfortable with them. The job went off perfectly. The owner was at my home everyday that work was being done. My roof is great. Sequoia is really the best company that I have ever had do work for me. I would never use another roofer.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of my composition roof and replaced with a concrete tile roof.
