Description of Work: In November 2014 we had pool solar panels installed. Although they tried to work around the work that our regular home solar company was going to provide us, it did take a very long time to get to that point. They installed the panels when we were at work. However, there was no instructions or debriefing on how to use the equipment. Fast forward to April 2015 when we were in need of a new pool filter. We got a new one installed and then our weekly pool service advised us that the new filter couldn't connect to the pool solar panels and that we needed to contact Performance Solar. I did contact them and explained the issue and sat on the phone with a staff member for quite some time reading the model numbers of the new pool filter/equipment. They said they would send someone out in the next few weeks but couldn't tell me when. They just said they would stop by when they were in the neighborhood. AND, it would cost $127.50 for a "service call." I then told them that I needed to be advised when they were going to be providing the visit because we lock our gates to the backyard for safety. We were out of town for a night when I received a voicemail that they had visited our home and couldn't solve the problem. They told me I needed to call another company who would most likely charge me $700 to connect the filter. NEVER did they call and actually talk to me to let me know a serviceman was coming out to my home. I only heard the aftermath. And, even then I'm not even sure if they actually came to my home. There was no note, no invoice...nothing to let me know that they had provided a service call. We had landscapers working the day they claimed to have visited our property so the gate was unlocked. However, the landscapers don't recall seeing anyone come to our home, let alone get on our roof to check out the problem. I called the office of Performance Solar and told them about my disappointment. I, especially, was disappointed because they were VERY quick to charge me $127.50 for a "service call." And, this was AFTER we spent $3500 on solar panels. No such thing as a courtesy call for customers who have purchased solar panels with them or even at a discounted service call rate. $127.50 is OUTRAGEOUS. Concluding my phone call, the staff member said "well, I will be sure to let them know that you are disappointed with the service call fee." Of course, NOTHING ever came of it.

Description of Work: I contacted them on their website. Either they are out of business or they have too much business to take on someone new. They never contacted me back. Very unprofessional.
