We bought a foreclosed home and the whole set-up - garage door, openers, etc - are a mess. |Got an honest opinion about how to proceed and did not charge us for the call or recommendations. No hard sale or pressure to purchase. Honest and upfront - not something you see in today's service industry. |When we are ready to proceed, we will call the Garage Man to do the work!

Description of Work: Hector came replaced my garage door opener. Very polite and nice person, explained things he did for me. Job was done neatly and very professionally.

Description of Work: Garage Door Man replaced an old wood garage door with a new door. They also installed a MyQ Garage door opener kit. They did a great job with the installation, hauled away the old door. The process was very smooth and their office staff and install crew were excellent.

Description of Work: Our old wooden garage door cracked in half. We called three services for estimates. Other providers tried to sell us very expensive insulated steel doors at much higher prices. Jim's was the most reasonable proposal. After we accepted his bid, he was able to install a new door the following day because he had it in stock, rather than having to order it. He even worked around some large wooden cabinets to install the new door guides. A very reasonable, professional job, and the new door works perfectly.

Description of Work: Garage Door Man removed my old wooden garage door and installed a new metal roll up door. Everything went great. It was less than a week from first call to installation.

Description of Work: Jim installed 2 garage door springs to replace one that had broken. It was easy to schedule an appointment. He came during the scheduled time and quickly installed the springs, then oiled various hinges as well as fixed a safety hazard he had noticed during the repair. He was courteous and efficient. Would definitely use him again, or recommend to a friend.

Description of Work: My electric garage door stopped working. I contacted Garage Door Man and he called back right away and asked a few questions and knew immediately what the problem was (the giant spring had broken). He asked if I needed him there right away (was my car trapped) and i told him that I had access to another car so it was not a problem. We scheduled for him to come by a day later; he did and fixed it pretty quickly. He also showed me where to lubricate the hinges to keep the door moving smoothly.

Description of Work: Replaced broken spring on a double car garage door. Installed a two spring system, instead of just the one spring system I had before. Used high cycle springs, per my request.

After talking to several companies, some of who hardly spoke English or didn't know the brand name of my opener, I glanced at the Penny Saver and here he was. Called him, and got precise answers to my questions and most importantly, gave me a package price that no one else could do. He first adjusted my springs,(have two doors) then tuned up the system, furnished better track then comes with the opener, fininshed the job professionally and presented me the bill. Total came to the amount of the quote over the phone with no "extras". He was one of the most professional business man that I have ever had. Absolutely would use him again and will recomment him to anyone that needs garage door work done. Starr
