They did some of the planting like we wanted to but they actually had to come back and redo parts of the planting. So I think it it lacked that completeness.

Arrived early and asked if he could start. I was more than happy to start. Went through each sprinkler and adjusted where necessary. Gave advice on how to water without hitting the house and wasting water. Used them before and will again.

Enrique was the foreman on the job. He was the one to come out and get all the information initially in order for Steve to give us the estimate. Enrique was very easy to work with and very responsive to our input. He had two other employees with him. They all showed up every day at 8am on the dot and worked hard. (The one guy would jog across the yard...he even jogged when he was pushing a wheelbarrow!) Steve also came out at least one time to check on the work. They always kept the work site clean. Enrique was very helpful in selecting the flagstone from KRC. We had some flagstone left over from previous work that we'd had done, and Enrique incorporated it in the patio. KRC delivered some flagstone that we didn't like -- it was too thin and had too many small pieces. Enrique had it returned and we got what we wanted. (We know from previous projects that selecting flagstone is a time consuming process if you're particular about what you want.) The patio turned out great, all pieces are very level and were installed very well. The planter beds and edging pavers also turned out very well. Overall the work was terrific and we're very happy with the finished product. We've had them do irrigation work for several years and will have them come out again for irrigation as well as any other landscape/hardscape projects we might do. We received several other bids. One bid was DOUBLE what we paid. One contractor was going to do only the plant work and use a sub-contractor for the hardscape. One contractor wouldn't trim the bushes/trees or remove the trees and stumps we wanted out. Dame Landscape was our one-stop shop...they did it all so we didn't have to work with different contractors.

It went okay. They didn't do that great of a job weeding. They could have been more efficient. They just weren't very efficient. They were very slow-moving. There was no urgency. I felt like they just did the minimum of what was being asked.

He was supposed to send me an email outlining what he would recommend for the sprinklers with the ones that needed upgrading. He never followed through.

As planned, scheduled and contracted...

Steve Dame was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating and prompt. His project manager on location was Enrique. I have never witnessed a work team work so carefully and efficiently to ensure that there was no damage to plants once they were installed. Whenever I made a proposed change, Enrique accommodated me immediately. We are extremely delighted with the work that they completed, the beauty of a drought resistant yard and conserving valuable water resources. Out of all of the contractors that I have ever worked with, Steve Dame and his team are the best! If you'd like to take advantage of the turf removal rebates and have a great looking yard, Dame Landscaping should be your only choice of contractor!

Steve Dame was responsive and professional from the initial contact throughout the entire process. Juan, his representative, was prompt and equally professional, and thoroughly explained both his recommendations and the reasons behind them. When the job was completed, Juan walked us through each watering zone, demonstrated how the various systems worked, and recommended seasonal changes. We highly recommend this company.

It was okay. It was satisfactory. I was expecting something a little more comprehensive. He was very good and very responsive.

The technician switched out a couple of sprinkler heads and advised me about things to consider in modifying the system. No further work was done because I decided to let my lawn "go" due to the drought. However, I will consider them when I install a drip system.

The guys were timely and very professional. Treated the property as if it were their own. Very knowledgeable about irrigation systems and honest. If they don't think something needs replacing, they will tell you. The guys replaced old control valves and a pressure reducing valve. There was a fair amount of digging that had to be done, removal of rocks from the rock/cacti garden, and a fair amount of time spent on the job. After the work was completed, the guys put the yard back in place as if nothing had been disturbed and left everything neat and clean. We have used this company a few times and every time we have been very impressed with their work and professionalism. This is truly a 5-star company! Thank you for a job well done!

overall it was average. broken sprinkler heads replaced, overspray corrected. the reason I am marking down to a C is because the area I specifically told them wasn't working (in front on the right behind mailbox) wasn't fixed and no explanation was given. I contacted them a week later to ask about it and received no reply. Have had good experience with them in the past and they know my place, so I would try them again because the price is reasonable

The contractor walked our sprinkler system, checked out where we had problems and fixed them.

They put in new valves and stopped the leak which made me happy. I called two companies but one called a couple weeks later.

They were prompt, courteous and did what I asked. Would use them again.

I didn't feel like much was done. I asked about installing a new control for sprinklers, but they didn't follow up with a quote or info. I would have paid for a new control unit. I expected them to help program current sprinklers and they didn't. I didn't get the impression that anything was tuned up. Same leaks and issues afterwards.

It was a regular thing. There was nothing impressive. They gave me some suggestions but they didn't follow up. They were quick to respond.

We had the faulty component replaced and now everything works as is should. We received great service and value and would gladly hire Dame Landscape again.

Enrique arrived on time as promised all three visits and the work went smoothly.

The problem is I trusted Angie's list. The company had good reviews. Angie's List does not specially show negative comments for companies that use their service. My problem is that I did not ask enough questions about this company. When the company representative arrived to my residence, we immediately started conversation about his cost. To me, the cost was way over the top for the job at hand. I would not refer this company to anyone. I would tell people that I used Angie's list as a recommendation for the company. The company had 130 + positive reviews. Believe me, I was so excited about working with them. Dame landscaping is a good company for the 130 plus responses. I did not have the same positive response. I am willing to give Angie's List two (2) more times for advice and counsel about the company they have on their website. Maurice W.

Excellent, the guy who showed up worked hard. Fixed the issue. Took a while to get them out is the only issue.

He is doing a very good job. He is still working for us. We were going to have him come out and put in some more drip system and then we'll be done. He is reasonable. He does a very good job. He does good work. He comes when we want him.

Outstanding experience in every way. I had researched drought resistant plants, water needs and color combinations in advance and had ideas about what type of plants I wanted to put where in my yard. Steve made valuable suggestions as we came up with the plan together. Provided a fair and quick estimate of the work. His crew was always on time, worked very hard, cleaned up at the end of the day and always kept me informed. The foreman, Juan, was outstanding in every way and was always present on the job, supervising, directing and working. He was knowledgeable, able to answer my questions and very responsive. Plus, he is just a really nice and genuine guy. I would (and will if the need arises) hire Dame Landscape without hesitation again. I can't say enough good things. My yard is the envy of the neighborhood.
