Description of Work: The service was not as thorough or complete compared to my view of needs. The owner is very attentive, but couldn't fix my problem, which wasn't that simple. I felt like he really didn't want to work on my landscaping project. He acted somewhat distant. He is probably very good, but came across as doing the job because he had offered the Angie's List discount award.

Description of Work: The crew , I am bad with remembering names on the first shot, Juan and Steve were excellent. They arrived on time and started working right away. 1) Juan wanted any info I could provide pursuant to the job 2) Juan looked at the sprinkler controller and said he had a lot of experience with this model. 3) He went right into testing it. 4) He called me over to advise me what he found and made a couple adjustments. 5) Cleaned up his work area and was done. Great job men.

Description of Work: It's been a long time since I looked at my sprinklers, so when I saw the deal on Angie's List I purchased it. It took a few weeks from the time I purchased the deal to the time I got service. But the service person came on the date promise and he was on time and very professional. He tuned up my sprinklers and showed me how to operate the sprinkler timer system.

Description of Work: Hunted down an intermittent landscape lighting problem and appears to have solved the issue. Steve is a hard working and honest individual.

Description of Work: I was notified by Escondido City Utilities Department that I might have a leak in my home because of excessive water use that started abruptly. I was sure the leak was in the iririgation system because a watering station would not go off after its cycle, so I called my existing gardener/landscaper to come and check it out, but he didn't call me back. I waited a day and then called Steve Dame, who called me back, listened to the problem, had me take a picture of the device that was malfunctioning, made time out of a busy booked scheduled to purchase a new watering system device, came to my home and spent an hour and a half fixing it. He was amazing, and if his company did maintenance landscaping (which they do not), I would have fired my gardener and replaced him with Steve's company immediately. At least now I know who will be handling my landscaping irrigation issues!

Description of Work: Initially I got a $45 Sprinkler Tuneup thru a Special AL Deal. But I knew that our sprinker system was getting old and had more serious problems, so I also got a detailed estimate for a full renovation, with some major changes as well. After shopping around a little, I decided that I preferred that Dame Landscape did the work, although they were not the least expensive option, because I had more confidence they would do a better job. They completed the work quickly, cleaned up well, communicated clearly, and were exceptionally professional through out, and the work was very good quality at a fair price. I will gladly hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: I had issue with my grass staying green, I had did all the right things with seeding my yard and watering it daily, but could not get my grass to turn green at all, Dame Landscape came in and evaluated my yard and notice that my sprinkler system wasn't properly set up, they came and made the Necessary changes now my grass is looking good.

Description of Work: i wanted to ask about his coupon for irrigation tune up and other work done but when i called i got no answer or returned phone call. I called a few times and left messages but nothing. I emailed him from this site went on his website and still no reply? not sure why but i cant believe he has such get reviews? I can understand if he was busy but at least return my calls or reply. I'm glad I didn't purchase the coupon though this site because than I would be really disappointed. also after reading the last review I'm glad he didn't call back.

Description of Work: This coupon was for an irrigation tune up. It did not tune up the irrigation and even created some issues. He was not at our residence for more than 30 minutes and we promptly received an estimate for future work he estimated needed to be done and that seemed to be expensive. We were not satisfied with the service and would not do it again.

Description of Work: Both Steve Dame himself and his employees were very punctual and professional. We had him prep the yard for sod install a complete irrigation system, a combination of sprinklers and bedding drip system. He then did a wonderful job of installing sod. The yard is beautiful. He absolutely exceeded expectations both in the work preformed ande the excellent common sense advice he provided.

Description of Work: Steve originally came from an Angie's list promotion to inspect my lawn irrigation system. We are moving from WI to CA and I have no experience with auto landscape systems but I knew this one needed at least one repair. Steve walked me through the operation of my system (on 1 acre of land) and we found at least two more trouble spots. He showed me how to program the system and advised me on a schedule that would save water and money without compromising my vegetation. I had him come back to replace an automatic valve which he did and within the price range he estimated. I am very pleased with him and his work. We had an honest discussion about my system and he did not try to up sell me at all, even encouraging me to fix the things I could do and leave the more technical things to him. I will certainly deal with Steve Dame in the future.
