Best Security Products

Description of Work: DO NOT AND I MEAN THIS DO NOT USE BEST SECURITY PRODUCTS, Escondido, CA AS YOUR ALARM PROVIDER. I have a beach house, takes me 2 hours to get there in an emergency so I wanted to make sure that my alarm not only connected to a good service but worked well as in the event of a breakin the security company could coordinate everything. I MADE A BAD MISTAKE IN CHOSING BEST SECURITY PRODUCTS which previously had had some good reviews. They came to the house installed their sensors etc, decided to use my Honeywell Board, said it was good, took all day up until 11 pm at night, technician could not figure out how to get the phone system to work with the alarm. At 11 pm did so, he left, I left and placed the alarm and armed it appropriately. About 10 minutes after I left I got a call from Central Station, motion sensor going off, sensor didn't work, new sensor mind you, they said they would turn it off and not dispatch, then John called and said they would monitor the sensor and not reactivate it till it worked, but it would turn off immediately to not disturb my neighbors. I have now found that that was not a true statement, that the sensor periodically kept going off. However I was down at the Beach House this weekend, Best Security had said everything was good with the system, I armed it and left and then I get a call from their central station 10 minutes after I left saying that the sensor is going off, they will disarm it and send a technician, I ask specifically if the alarm is going off and am told no by John, so this morning I wake up to messages on my cell phone from 5 neighbors and 2 from the police, I am now facing citation and fines for noise disturbance and very angry neighbors. I called Best Security at 8 am this morning it is now 10:27 am and the owner Mark Mahaffey has not called me back or solved the problem, he is with " New clients" at an appointment. I have left about 10 messages regarding the urgency of this situation with the response he will call my when he is done with the appointment. I now have to leave my office, miss several appointments, travel two hours to turn off the system myself, I am asking for a refund, Best Security to take their equipment and release me from the contract, if this is type of service you want in an emergency then use them, I would not advise it.
