Description of Work: Was supposed to get 200 amp panel upgrade with solar meter but they installed 125 amp panel They told me that's what they always do .my upgrade was the solar meter I told them I was installing a swimming pool in future so we added more solar panels to handle future electrical load Now I have to pay another $2500 to have a professional electric company do work When electrical inspector came to job there was no permit for work being done This caused a delay in having our electrical service restored No power for over 28 hours Thank goodness I bought a generator last year to provide some lighting and power for freezer and refrigerator This goes on and on I really liked sales man and electrician who installed panel Very good work but wrong size panel The crew who installed conduit in garage for DC power ran the flex conduit right in middle of accesse to my storage This has been a circus from the start I read nothing but stellar reviews on Angie's list about baker electric Is Angie's a scam? Begging to wonder what happened to any type of customer service and quality work in this area of country This solar system is not worth the headaches Beware

Description of Work: We has solar pv installed on our tile roof. Baker personnel are very professional. The workmanship was exemplary. Everything was completed on schedule with almost no impact on us.

Description of Work: My only criticism is that my system was not being monitored, neither by Baker, Sunpower or myself, and I went FOUR MONTHS with my system being down!!! |(due to a faulty inverter)

Description of Work: They gave an estimate regarding solar. Our other solar company closed doors without completing the project. We did not have the solar doneby baker because we need to save up the funding we're still having to pay off the other company even though they didn't complete the project. But overall Baker solar was very professional and easy to deal with, especially since we are out of the country.

Description of Work: Full solar install. Quote was competitive ($500 Angies list discount too). Installers were very professional performing above expectations. Folks in the office were pretty swamped with all the recent solar installs and it took a little more effort than normal to get a return call or email.

Description of Work: Baker Electric installed 17 solar panels on my roof in two days. They said they would arrive at 7:00 a.m. on March 5th with a trailer containing the necessary materials and a Port-a-potty, and they did exactly that. They finished the job on March 6th, and removed the trailer and port-a-potty the next morning. The installers were supervised by others who came several times to check the work. They were also extremely careful to cause me as little disruption as possible, especially when it was necessary for them to turn off the electricity. I like the monitor they installed inside the house which tells me how much power is being generated at any given time. As I write this the 17 panels are generating 720 kilowatts. The contract included a payment schedule. There was an original down payment of $1,000., with the rest due in increments as materials were delivered, installation was completed, the city and SDG&E inspected and approved the system. Baker sent me an e-mail when payment was due, and there were no problems.
