Description of Work: We were seeking estimates on installing solar and seeking to find out if it made economic sense to move forward with solar. They told us that we did not use enough electricity at present for it to be economically feasible. They said they would move forward and install solar if we wanted to but they did not recommend It. If we did move forward I would choose Baker. They are a very honest company.

Description of Work: Estimated, designed, procured, and installed 5KW PV solar system on roof. Turnkey solution and extremely happy with result. Have already recommended to other contacts and would definitely use again. Punctuality rated at B because contract was signed on Dec 2 and site survey was conducted ~15 Dec, but actual design work did not begin until late Jan/early Feb. Final system energize will not take place until end of May or early April. Still, very happy overall.

Description of Work: Baker installed a purchased solar electric system on our roof. They were very professional and courteous, the actual installation went very quickly. They cleaned up very well. Everything was explained thoroughly in a manner that we could understand. There was one problem within the first month and they fixed it promptly. The price seemed a little higher than others, but I think it was worth it.

It took over a month and multiple calls, however, to get a simple manufacturer's tax credit certification so that we can apply for our tax credit for the installation.

All work was performed on time and customer support was superior.They followed up after the system was installed, and assisted with getting tax info and CA Solar Initiative rebate. | Recently got my SDG&E total annual bill for only $277.With an above average warm year and the A/C running overtime all summer, the system has already proved its worth. Couldn't be more satisfied.

The technician walked me through the ways to monitor the system's performance. There have been no further service needs since then. Description of Work: Baker Electric Solar installed a rooftop solar array on our home in Oct. 2013. We chose them as our installer because of the company's good reputation plus Baker offered the most efficient solar panels available at that time. The sales presentation was thorough and easy to understand. We decided to lease the system vs. buying it because of the good terms that Baker Electric Solar offered. The entire experience was a good one from the initial presentation through the permitting and installation. Baker employees kept us informed through each stage of the process. It was a thrill when our system finally went online about 4 months after the initial consultation. We have had good electrical production from the system and are enjoying considerable cost savings! We do recommend Baker Electrical Solar.

There was no money exchanged due to the fact that I leased the panels from Sun Power and Baker Electric was their agent. Overall a very pleasant experience.
