Loui and John came over to give us a quote on cleaning up our attic, patching holes and openings that rats have used to access our attic, and also to redo the insulation. I knew that advertisements for attic clean-up and an attic fan (which we got!) were "carrots" to give quotes for insulation too. (thanks to the prior reviews) Because of that, we weren't surprised by the price. In my opinion, it was worth EVERY dollar. The crew that came out did a good job. Tyler, the crew leader, was on time and very professional. There were a few little things they missed though, so I called the company. Within 3 days, they sent EDWIN out to wrap up the job. Edwin was excellent! He got the job done above and beyond. This company has integrity and I am so happy that we made the decision to use them. Thanks so much, Attica! Our attic is secure from the roof rats that have long infested it off and on for years!

We moved into a 1950s built home with a lot of deferred maintenance a few years back, and that included a crawl space that was dirty, dusty, and uninsulated, affecting both the temperature and air quality in our home. Having used another company to do some attic work we weren't thrilled about, Louie and his team did an amazing, comprehensive and professional job in our crawlspace. The change in energy costs, and how frequently our air filters had to be changed, was incredibly noticeable, and the crew at Attica was left things in spectacular condition. Recently, we had some plumbing/renovation work done, and unfortunately those folks left a mess, and mangled some of the insulation Attica had installed. While it wasn't their problem to solve, Louie still came out and took care of the situation, getting our crawl space insulation back into shape. Absolutely grade-A professionalism. You get what you pay for, and I 100% recommend Attica if you want the task done well, by folks who stand behind their work.

We asked for an estimate to clean our air ducts. The quoted price was $4300, but if we have it done on the upcoming Sunday (they had a cancelation), they would reduce the price to $3900. We were told that there was some rodent droppings on the insulation and we would need to have the insulation replaced. I suggested that I will have an exterminator take a look at it and was told that would be a waste if my money. I got another estimate to clean the air ducts and was quoted $500. I had an exterminator look at my attic and was told that yes there is rodent droppings, but they were covered with dust indicating they had been there for quite some time (we recentlypurchased the home). Attica was interested only in removing my insulation and replacing it. After reviewing the written estimate, the numbers (including discounts) didn't add up to the quoted price. I'm glad some recieved good estimates and service from this company, but I would not recommend them. If you do get an estimate, ensure you get a few other estimates. Can't give more than a half a star.

Not well represented. Would not provide a written estimate. Bad mouthed other companies. Verbal offer was twice the cost of doing the work from other companies. This was from the manager of the company who came out to do the onsite estimate. Won't do business with this kind of company.
