John identified the problem very quickly. He was friendly and professional.

We used Aelott Air to move our unit up to the attic. They were here in March of 2013. That was fabulous, it was good, you know, it was a big deal as far as we were concerned. We felt for the job they had to do, it was right in line, they didn't gouge us with the price. It wasn't real cheap but it wasn't over kill either. That was a huge deal getting it from down stairs to up in the attic but they did a stellar job. They had to move quite a bit of it, they moved it from a hallway we had here and then moved it upstairs to the attic. I don't know what all they did was make the unit upstairs in the ceiling in the hallway. It was done so well that you don't even notice it. We have had a contractor for years and they find these people who help them do it so were kind of ahead of the game, you know, when you get old and you have a large home you do need to do that and it be someone you can trust. We have to look at the people and say well do we like them or we don't.

Five Stars to Aelott Air Conditioning for their prompt and outstanding service!! Our air conditioner suddenly quit working late on a Friday afternoon. I received a return call from Stephen the next business day (Monday) and was quite pleased when Stephen said he'd have a service technician come by to check out our AC unit that same day. Our service technician, Joe, first checked the filter to see if it needed cleaning, then proceeded to find the source of the problem--one of two fuses on the outdoor equipment had blown. After replacing the fuses, Joe checked the refrigerant level on the unit, then checked to see that the temperature was dropping on an AC vent inside the house. Joe was highly efficient, courteous and honest--a rare commodity these days. I won't hesitate to use Aelott Air Conditioning in the future. Way to go guys!

These guys are fantastic. They installed Carrier units when we built the house 20 years ago. Worked great but outside air conditioners were looking real sad. We are sure the new stuff will be more energy efficient. Everything went great, They arrived on time, worked and finished in one day. Couldn't be happier. I recommend them as the best in San Diego.

Rich came out to do the estimate. He seemed level-headed enough, recommending a mid-range unit since we'd only be using it a few weeks out of the year. He asked for my email address and said he'd email his estimate to me. A week later I hadn't yet received the estimate, so I called him to see if he had my correct address. He had the right address but said he'd been so busy with furnaces that had gone out during the cold spell we were in that he hadn't gotten around to putting together our estimate. I told him no problem--it wasn't like we needed the install right away, just get it to me when you can. I never heard back from him.

I started going to them because they had the filters for my particular furnace. They showed up on time. They performed a variety of services that included upgrades and repairs. They had installed the furnace before, but they found out that it wasn't done correctly. There were also errors that they found in the air-conditioning unit which had caused me to lose a lot of cooling. They fixed that. I wasn't happy with the people that had installed the furnace. I think they spent an excessive amount of time doing the job. I think they could have done it more quickly and for a lesser cost. They stretched out the job.
