These guys are great. Yossi made sure that the new unit fit and worked the best it possibly can. They also made sure my place was comfortable while I was waiting for the special order to come in. Highly Recommended.

My airconditioner stopped working during a 110 degree day. It was an emergency situation and the companies that serviced my unit previously refused to come out, I had to rush my dogs to the vet for boarding and find another place to live, since my house was too hot. I called Yossi based on the Angie's List reviews and his wife arranged to have him immediately come to my house, even though he was extremely busy. He let me know that I needed a new unit. His bid was the lowest of 9 bids. He was able to arrange for the installation of a new 3 ton Bryant heating and airconditioning packaged unit on my roof within two days. He installed the unit in one day. Yossi and his workers worked on my roof in extremely hot weather the entire day to make sure I would have airconditioning by the end of the day. It was a big job involving the use of a crane. He showed concern not only for me, but the fact that my poor dogs were being boarded at the vet. Yossi wanted to be sure that I would be able to bring my dogs home by the end of the day of the installation, and come home to airconditioning. By 6 PM on the day of the install, everything was completed and the airconditioning was on! Yossi responds to my phone calls immediately and answers all of my questions. He follows through and completes everything he has promised to complete. It is rare to find a contractor as responsible, knowledgeable and caring as Yossi. I recommend Yossi and his company Temptechs for all of your airconditioning/heating service needs.

I called on 8/28 at 7 am . He called back at 7:30, said he would be able to come out (to Tarzana) that afternoon. He called at 3:30 and said he was on his way from Silverlake and would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived a little before 3:45 with two helpers and went straight to work. After analysis he replaced a capacitor (that he had on his truck) on the 20 year old Carrier 2.5 ton system and told me it should last the rest of the summer. The job took about an hour, and poof, he was gone, on his way to Canoga Park. He said they were swamped during this heatwave. I've been in the apartment business 40 years and he's one of best. Reasonable price, professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

Temptechs is fair and honest in pricing and repair estimates. Yossi and his crew are always very thorough and professional. He has been here three times over the last two years, for routine maintenance to our 20 year old roof-top package unit, and to find and fix a leak in one of our ducts. He recently noticed that a "P" pipe was never installed in our unit, resulting in condensation accumulating in the pan, and not draining properly into the PVC drain piping.

I contacted three different people who made appointments---and never showed. This company was professional---they made the appointment, kept us informed of their arriaval time. Will use them again

Yossi was on time and worked on the roof unit, even though it was raining. Several hours after he left, I discovered that the heat was not working; I called Yossi and he returned promptly and reconnected a wire, that had come loose while he was vacuuming the unit.

Checked all heating/air conditioning vents and units to gauge efficiency and performance.

I was expecting him to service it but all he was doing was inspecting it to see if I needed anything so I was a little bit disappointed with that. He was a very nice, knowledgeable person and prompt. He sent me a quote to get it serviced and let me know that some parts would need to be replaced in the future. His service was great, I was just expecting something else. There was nothing wrong with him, I just thought what I was paying for was getting my air conditioner serviced. We talked about some things. I am going to have a sun room put on and so I will need to move my air conditioner and we talked about that. I will probably use him as I was satisfied with the information that he gave me and the price that he gave me.

Yossi was very pleasant, not hesitating to take the time to answer my questions and provide information on ongoing furnace maintenance and possible upgrades for future consideration. His expertise and professionalism, I found, are unparalleled.

Water was leaking from the air conditioning and there was a problem with the heater not turning on. I hired a service provider (non-Angie's List provider) to come in to fix it. He was able to fix the heating problem (a sensor was dirty_ but told me that my entire system was set up wrong and did not meet codes. That turned out to be partially true. But he said he couldn't fix just one part; the entire system had to be replaced at the tune of $5,000. He implied the heating fix was only temporary as well and would happen again if I didn't have all the work done. TempTechs came in and while he did agree that some things were not done to code, he did not feel that the system needed all the work the first vendor recommended. He fixed the water leak - a tube was blocked with dust and he just blew it out. He also said that the sensor should be fine and that it just needs to be serviced periodically (I had not had it serviced since it was installed in 2006). He is going to give ma an estimate on the changes needed to bring it up to code (I received yesterday but haven't read yet) but noted that it did not have to be done all at one time. I was very vocal about my dismay at the way the first vendor tried to take advanate of me since I don't know hvac systems at all. He had been recommended by a neighbor after all. But Yousef was very professional and did not critizie the first vendor but disagreed with his recommendations. Also, prior to the visit, I talked on the phone to the provider several times before the service and she was professional and friendly. I was just charged with a service call for the service, too. I hope this all makes sense; the essence is that I would definitely recommend TempTechs, I was very very pleased with their profesionalism, expertise, and customer service. I plan to use them to perform the recommended services.

It was a very good experience. Technician called to let me know when he would arrive. He was on time. He was very polite and neat about his work. He explained his findings clearly (nothing wrong in the case). If something does go wrong, I would call this company to fix it.

Great company to work with. Trustworthy, dependable, affordable. My handyman couldn't fix the furnace after 6 weeks of effort, so I had to hire a specialist. TempTech performed a diagnosis on the broken furnace in the morning, bought the parts, and had it fixed by the end of the day. Great communication throughout. A+

My heater stopped making hot air one night and I called temp the next morning. He was here by 12:30. Yossi is a really nice guy and knew what he was doing. I am skeptical of all these types of companies because of a horrible exp I had with mike diamond .. They scam you, overcharge you, and always recommend installing new unit even if it's fine. Yossi wasn't dirt cheap but about 25% of what the scam artists tried to charge me. I appreciate knowledgable, nice providers and I'm willing to pay a somewhat reasonable amount for their service.

I called Yossi after reading a few reviews about his company on Angie's List. It's the first time I've used Angie's List. It was after 5 PM, but he answered and we made an appointment for the the next day. He called when he was on his way and arrived promptly within the agreed upon hour. He is soft spoken, courteous and professional. He really knows air conditioning and I would consider him an expert. My system is a 2 ton split central air system with the compressor/condenser outside and the air handler and furnace under the building. I knew the problem was in the compressor/condenser portion. Another company had come out previously and with a cursory check told me I needed a new system or at least a new compressor. I was looking at $1500 to $3000. Yossi went right to work and checked the voltages, pressures and components. By carefully checking, he discovered a faulty capacitor. He replaced it and the sytem fired up perfectly. The cost was $189. The system is older and I know that eventually it will have to be replaced but for the time being it is working and I'm a happy camper.

Anyone who lives in the San Fernando valley knows that the heat wave in the last 2 weeks has been unbearable!!! Our air conditioning decided to get lazy at the worst possible time, it started blowing air out, not cold air just air. At first we thought it was due to the extreme heat weather of 100 degrees all day. We lowered the temperature to 65 degrees and nothing, we were hot!! And try putting a cranky baby to sleep in the heat, it's not fun! So we ran to homedepot and bought some new filters and after we changed them we hoped that we will be able to enjoy the cold air again, only to find out the filters weren't the problem. We started looking around for air conditioning companies, we called a few different companies and no one was available to come right away since it was Labor Day, Temp Techs was the only company that was willing to come on Labor Day on such short notice. The technician showed up within an hour and took a look at the air conditioning unit, after about 15 min, he notified us that the compressor in air conditioning unit on the roof stopped working and died. At first the technician told us that most likely the supplier is closed, but said he would try calling and getting the part right away, and he did!!!! He left our house and came back after about 40 minutes and didn't even charge us extra for the fact the supplier came especially to open the store for him. I highly recommend temp techs, the technician that came to our house was Yossi, he was very knowledgable and proffesional and most of all caring, he really did his best to get the work done as quickly as possible so that our air conditioning can be up and running again. me and my husband felt safe and comfortable with him right away the price was very reasonable, and the job was done in no time!

So this is what happened , I had two AC companies give me an estimate before hiring Yossi (Temptechs). The first company I called said I need to replace my unit which is about 7 years old ,and then the second company said I need to replace my compressor. Then, Yossi from Temptechs came over and took the time to explain that it was actually a quick and easy repair and that I don't need to replace my unit or the compressor! I was so glad and relieved at the same time to have found some one who wasn't just trying to rip me off !!! Yossi was very professional, honest and did a nice clean job . My AC is working great and he made me feel safe and gave me some great advice on how to keep my AC clean ..I was very happy to know I found such a TRUSTWORTHY company with competitive pricing therefore, I immediately signed up for twice year maintenance service with Yossi/Temptechs. I'm definetely a happy camper:)

Yossi came to my home at the exact time he scheduled and gave me an estimate. He was so honest, professional, and fairly priced that I decided on the spot to hire him. The next week he was already at my home replacing my A/C unit. He redid all my ductwork and replaced my thermostat and attic fan as a gift. But most importantly I was called into work last minute and I had to leave. I left Yossi at my home alone. When I returned not only was all the work almost complete but they keep my home and yard so clean I barely noticed they were there. I will most defiantly use Yossi from TEMPTECHS for all my further HVAC needs and I will refer him to my family and friends as well.

I found this company to be very professional, giving the right advise . They worked in a timely fashion. The price was great , they beat all the other estimates that I received. They were very honest and didn't take advantage of the extra hot weather to up there prices. They also took the time to explain in detail the job they have done.
