They are very professional and friendly at all time. They are always there on time and clean up when they are finished. If something is not right, they will come back and fix it. I would recommend them for any job and I would use them again. They take pride in their work and have you look at it to ensure it is what you wanted before they leave.
Description of Work: I have used TATOOSI CONSTRUCTION for many jobs around our house including, a new roof, new fans in the bathroom, soundproof and tile a room, sprinklers, new electrical work and running gas pipe to pool.

I am a three-time homeowner and have undergone quite a few extensive projects around each home. To say that Vahik Tatoosi is the most unprofessional, arrogant, incompetent, and crude contracting professional (an oxymoron in itself) we?ve ever dealt with is not an overstatement?it?s the truth. Since we are close family friends to someone who refers him the bulk of his business, he gave us the lowest bidding price for the work we needed done. However, he was clearly unhappy with the final price, as he consistently reminded us that he was doing the work at a huge discount whenever problems arose. And a litany problems certainly arose, of which each and every time, Vahik refused to take responsibility and blamed issues on other people, on the reality of any construction work, or on us?the clients. The quality of his work reflects only a fraction of the final price we paid for everything. Needless to say, he feels he did work for free, and we feel we got robbed. The only time he ever apologized for his shoddy mistakes was when he and his men couldn?t get the crown moulding correct in our bedroom; after four tries, the moulding was still done so poorly that I could have done it myself by watching a how-to video on YouTube. Guys smoking on our property? No apology. Tiles coming loose in the kitchen? No apology. Sprinkler pipe severed, flooding our foundation for weeks until I caught it because he never shut off the water supply? No apology. Support beams removed from under the house that could have eventually caused the floorboards to collapse (according to his own contracted workers who eventually fixed the problem) when vents were installed at the bottom of the house? No apology. Clearly, he doesn?t understand the gross negligence involved in the event that a floor collapses underneath a client?especially one with a newborn baby. You can add naïve and ill-informed to the list of adjectives. As he was yelling at my wife over the phone, he again claimed that he gave us a $20,000 discount, when his bid was only $3,500 less than someone whom in retrospect we should?ve used. I would?ve gladly paid the $3,500 ?premium? for a true professional with a strong work ethic, who values customer service, who understands the referral process, and who has true pride in the finished product rather than the bottom line. By the way, without getting into details, he was yelling at my wife because she simply wanted to know when he would be at the house, and he thought that she was accusing him of some duplicity. Such verbal ?misunderstandings? were quite common with him. He has by far the worst communication skills out of anyone I have ever worked with, bar none. He has a delusional sense of work ethic and felt completely entitled to criticize the work of anyone else (we chose different plumbers and electricians), yet he failed to acknowledge the failures of projects under his direct supervision. The fact that he never had a project manager on site at all times probably contributed to that problem. I could go into detail regarding each and every offense he committed (of which only the most critical were ever brought to his attention), but the bottom line is save your time, heartache, and money. Do not ever use Vahik Tatoosi or Tatoosi Construction for any work whatsoever.
Description of Work: We added approximately 50 square feet to our master bedroom, added a 3/4 bathroom in the master bedroom, added a small walk-in closet in the master bedroom, and re-tiled the kitchen floor. We also had some concrete by the pool repaired and some stucco on the back of the house repaired.
