George Parks Roofing was very professional and accommodating. The job was completed in less than two days. Clean-up was very well done. I would certainly recommend this company to everyone.

I called George Parks Roofing and Painting for an estimate to paint my eaves. Unfortunately I live too far for George and his crew to make the drive for small jobs. But George helped me out by giving me a referral of someone who might be interested in the job. I have a metal roof and initially I called George because I wanted someone who is knowlegable about metal roofs to work on my house. George was very helpful and gave sound advice on how to walk on a metal roof. Even though I will not be using his service, I appreciate all the help he has given me.

George was very professional and efficient. The price was very fair and the work was excellent. We would hire George again.

How often does a contracting job turn out BETTER than you expected? Thanks to Tom, Chris, and their entire crew, both the roof replacement and the remodel of our garage were beyond our wishes. They not only did everything they promised, they were ON SCHEDULE, and they did extra things we hadn't anticipated to make my wife's new art studio a attractive and functional as possible, without adding to their original price quote. And they did the opposite of cutting corners -- the did everything they could to make sure the smallest details were taken care of with the highest degree of professionalism. We are thrilled with the outcome, my wife has fulfilled a lifelong dream, and we give our highest recommendation to the company. They are friendly, dependable, highly skilled and the utmost professionals.

The only reason I rated them a B on price is because this was expensive and I only got one other bid. This wasn't one of those miracle bargains of top quality combined with rock bottom price, but I am reasonably satisfied the price was fair since this was a challenging job and quality, not price, was my priority. This is my childhood home, inherited from my parents and now a rental property badly in need of a paint job since my Dad didn't do proper upkeep in his old age. We don't want to sell the house for a long time, but I couldn't let it be neglected any longer. My biggest concern, therefore, was to get a really good paint job that would LAST many years. I know enough about exterior painting to know it is all in the prep work and the wood siding and windows were just in terrible shape! It would have been a waste of money if someone came along and just painted with inadequate prep and I didn't want a slap dash job just to make the house look good for sale. I wanted to be sure this won't have to be repeated when we do finally sell the house. I worked with George's son Chris who promptly met me at the house for an estimate. Chis listened to my concerns about prep and repair of the wood and priming before painting. He suggested we use Behr Elastomeric paint since, he says, it is designed to seal the wood and flex, it should last longer. This added about $1,000 to the price. (One of my staff is married to a painter who confirmed this is a good, but more expensive product). I got one other bid that was lower, but that company only wanted to use Dunn Edwards paint and didn't even state which of their several grades of paint in his written proposal and only offered a one year guarantee. Chris offered a 4 year guarantee on labor and the product is supposedly guaranteed for "lifetime." So, even though the other company's price was lower, we went with George Parks and Co. If I were living in the home, I might have gotten more bids but I live 20 miles from the home and didn't have the time to keep meeting painters out at the house for estimates. Chris knew I wanted to watch their work to ensure they did all that was promised and he knew I didn't live at the house, so he kept in regular touch with me by cell phone to alert me when they were at various statges so I could come and look: they power washed all the flaky paint and cobwebs away, they caulked all the cracks and spaces in the wood. In areas where the wood was dry rotted, they replaced pieces. On chipped window sills they used come kind of hard caulking material that they later sanded smooth. They also reglazed all the windows, then primed 100% of the wood. Then they painted two coats of the paint, also put up my new mailbox and house numbers for me. I've ordered new shutters that haven't come in yet, so Chris let me hold back a few hundred dollars off the final payment to ensure they would return to paint and mount those for me later. Of course, Chris didn't personally do any painting and wasn't on site at all times but it seemed to me he gave his crew good and frequent supervision and intructions. He was very personable and easy to deal with. I was quite pleased and my tenant tells me so are the neighbors! I will definitely use this company when it comes time to paint my own home (which is newer and all stucco, so should be easier and cheaper!) The only thing I didn't like was that they did not present me with a contract. They offered a document that was labeled "Invoice" and we both signed off on it. He gave me receipts for my deposit and final payment. Although it had all the essentials including a detailed description of all stages of the word, the brand of paint, the guarantee, etc. so functionally it was a contract, but it didn't have all the usual fine print and detail which struck me as very odd for a contractor.

They showed up on time, did the job for the quoted price, excellent work, courteous and followed up on the job for a satisfactory report. Excellent all the way around.

Daniel and Fidel showed up during the window they gave me. Did an assessment of the work and then Fidel got started. Fidel did an amazing job. There was a lot of dry rot that needed to be cleaned up and patched. He got that done as well as painting. They were on time and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely hire them again.

I had an excellent experience. I contacted George Parks Roofing via Angie's list and Chris was very responsive. He came out to my home within a few days (my choice due to a busy work schedule), inspected the roof inside and out, and also took one look at my exterior and asked if I wanted him to include an estimate. Since I had been planning on doing that anyway, I agreed. We discussed different roofing and painting options and sent me an estimate within 24 hours. I had received several estimates already and his was spot on with the others and, including the Angie's list discount, and deal he offered on the exterior paint, was a terrific value. He was able to start work in just two weeks. Painting started on time with a power wash and the painter showed up the next day and started work. Roofing started two days later and was finished in 3 days, right on schedule. Chris was in contact with me throughout the process always keeping me updated on the progress and the plans for the next day. The work was top notch and both the paint and roof look beautiful. I would absolutely hire Chris again and recommend George Parks Roofing strongly.

It was on a big deal. He is okay. He's a good gentleman. He is good and nothing is wrong with him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a guy to do good work on his roof. I paid what I agreed to and I thought it was reasonable.

The jobs went really well. What stands about them was that they seemed very motivated to make me happy. There was a little bit of confusion about the deck where they said one thing and then when they did the job, it was a little bit different. They absolutely went and made me happy. They basically did what needed to happen so that I would be happy. It was evident from everything that they wanted to see me happy.

They did an excellent job and I was very happy. They were very responsive in calling me back and letting me know when they would be here and follow up. It seems to be a small family run company. They cleaned up very well and handled themselves very professionally. I didn’t shop around. I would use them again.

Work was performed every day till finished, no starts/stops or delays.George gave us an idea for partially enclosing our patio that we accepted with no added labor cost, only material cost. George made good in paying for security system repair that his workers had caused a problem with. Most of Georges workers spoke English with was important to us as we only speak English. Overall we are pleased with the project.

These guys did everything right. On the day I was given an estimate, three members of the Parks family showed up. Not to pressure me -- two of them stayed in the car til I had agreed to have the job done -- but after I made the decision to go ahead, it sure was nice meeting the owner and two of his sons. The prep work really impressed me. Their main painter, Victor, spent more than two full days sanding the trim and prepping the house for its first paint job in more than a decade. He and his workers were friendly, considerate and very attentive to any questions/concerns I had during the process. The painting itself seemed to take forever. But that's only because the last people who painted my house rushed through the job. The George Parks people took their time and were so attentive to detail that I couldn't help but be impressed. And after they were done, I got a phone call and a note on my front door saying, "no, we're not done." Victor came back a few days later to do a walk-around inspection, and some additional caulking and touch-up painting. Oh, and in the three days since that final touch-up, three of my neighbors have come by to tell me how much they like the paint job on my house. I've told all of them that if they ever need their houses painted -- and a couple of them really need it NOW hahah -- I would recommend they call George Parks Painting.

They were prompt, clean and courteous, but not as thorough on the first pass. They had to come back to finish the work. The good news is that they did come back to ensure that the work was done right and completed and gave us zero hassles. So, we will use them again in the future and will recommend them to our friends.

George Parks came and gave us an estimate. If it were not a holiday weekend, he would have started the next day. His crew came on the day we asked to start by prepping the house for paint. Sanded, scraped, and repaired all loose/broken surface areas. The next day after they sealed all the windows and doors, they brushed, sprayed, and rolled on our new colors.

No jobs are perfect but their jobs are really excellant. I like their "friendly" and "professional" teamwork. The best, however, is they showed up the following day right after I told them some small spots need touched up. To sum up the overall experience, I am a 100% satisfied customer.

They were thorough, expedient, and kept me informed. I think they gave me a fair price, although make sure you get everything included in the upfront bid. Add-ons can be expensive. They finished the exterior in only three days -- as promised. They also did a great job with clean-up. I'm very pleased with the results.

He has great character and intrigue. He shows up ontime and cleans up real well after he is done. I strongly recommend him.
