Description of Work: On this visit Luis replaced two broken cement roof tiles and fixed a sticky screen door. The cost reflects having to search for out-of-production tile, followed by a special order, pick up and install. This is at least the fourth (fifth?) time we have had Luis work around our house. Not only is he at the door exactly at the appointed time, the work is done very professionally and correctly. To date, he has dug out and replaced selected damaged porch slate tiles, sistered a couple of termite-ridden roof joists, replaced a broken exhaust fan in one bathroom, dug out several rotten fence posts, replaced, and cemented in the new ones, rewired a three way light switch, replaced a broken light switch on a treasured lamp, measured, ordered, delivered and installed a couple of glass table tops, dug out and fixed a broken sprinkler line, and the list goes on. Obviously, we are very happy with the work done. While Mr. Handyman is not inexpensive, it's a lot easier on me to have one person doing everything than to try to schedule six or eight different contractors in and out of my house.

The technician did an outstanding job. He was nice and on time. Everything was perfect, except the price, which at $98 an hour was more than I pay my doctor.
Description of Work: They removed the air conditioner, fixed gates, installed shelves, replaced a fan, replaced light fixtures, and replaced the window box flashing.

Even though they are slightly more expensive than a regular plumber or carpenter, my experience with them was so positive, I will definitely use Mr. Handman again! They were on time (which is a huge plus), worked quickly, got the supplies needed, and did a perfect job.

The first thing I was struck by was the professionalism of Teddy and the rest of the team. Phone calls were immediately returned, appointments were set (and in some cases changed) quickly and Barry always arrived ontime and ready to work. They were fair with their pricing and can do just about any job. The hard part is putting a list together of all those jobs, but naturally they have a checklist for their customers to do so. Great service all around.

Second time using this service. Very professional & VERY punctual. Did an excellent job & worked quickly & efficiently. The van was stocked with all kinds of hardware, which was very convenient. I also asked the handyman if he could look at some other jobs & he did electrical AND plumbing, as well as installing a door. Wish I could have gotten same day service, but I had to wait 2 days. But worth the wait. They put every other handyman I have ever had to shame.

They told me they didn't give estimates. They wanted to come right out and do the work, without looking at the job and start working. After giving it some thought, I called back and said I would prefer to have a preliminary estimate done. They said they would have a supervisor call me back. I never heard from them again.
