Very well. Arrived on time, work done quickly, and cleaned up when left.

On time, friendly and great work. Its kind of pricey, but since we don't know how to do lots of these kinds of things ourselves, we need the help, and its reassuring to have a company that's licensed, bonded, etc. that we can research through Angie's List, rather than a guy we picked up in the parking lot of Home Depot

The building was first class. The cost estimate was way low. I asked for material receipts and never received them.

Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The work was completed in a timely manner to our satisfaction.

Ed was punctual, patient and was a hard worker. We've used this service twice and while a little pricey, Mr. Handyman has gotten us good results that a contractor could not. We've been very pleased with all the services provided.

It went very well. The company sent a very capable technician, Ed. He was careful to cover his shoes and mask all surfaces so that nothing got dirty. He went up on the roof and snaked out the vent with a long tube that has a brush at the end, and afterwards lit the pilot lights. I called at least 10 companies, and most will not work with these old gas heaters, because they don't make them anymore and they don't seem to know what to do. Ed was professional, cordial, and very kind to my elderly mother (whose house it is), who tends to hover and ask lots of questions. As they disclosed up front on the phone, this company charges by the half hour, with a minimum 2 hours for the service call, so be sure you have at least 2 hours of work. We didn't, so paid for a full 2 hours even though it only took about an hour and a half all told. Still, we got a $25 discount for being Angie's List members, so that helped and the final price was less than the original quote as a result. I would definitely use them again for any kind of handyman service.

He arrived promptly and set to work, removing the rotted wood, installing new wood, and using bondo where the rot was minor. A week later Mr. Handyman called to see if there was anything else, so I had Manfred come and Paint the trim and fix some interior door hinges. He does great work, and didn't mind that my cat kept nosing around in his tool bag.

It went very well. Showed up promptly when stated. They took the amount of time that was estimated and the quality of work was very good. The only thing is they were pretty expensive for what we had done, but we had another handyman flake on us and we needed to get these things taken care of in short order.

I thought he was great. He was on time, was thorough and did everything I needed. It was perfect! There was nothing that I could complain about. I would use him again in the future for other work.

By far the BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a home repair person of any kind. Scheduling was easy over the phone, the handyman arrived on time, was wearing a uniform, and put on booties before coming into the house. He went over the work with me, and I told me it would take about a day and a half. Another company estimated 4 days! But I really wanted it done on my one day off, so the handyman called the office and got another handyman sent over right away. Sure enough, they both finished the work the same day, saving me thousands of dollars from the other estimate I got. Mr. Handyman had a higher hourly rate, but their handyman were so experienced (they said 15-20 years minimum experience), and so efficient that I ended up saving money. The handymen from Mr. Handyman were very different from other skilled trades people I've had in my house. They were clean, well-spoken, intelligent, creative, and helpful. They found ways to save money on simple repairs, and suggested longer-lasting repairs on some things I needed done. And since they are a green company, they suggested ways I could save on energy costs very easily and cheaply. And they came in UNDER their estimate. That has never happened to me before. I will never use anyone other than Mr. Handyman again. I already scheduled another day of service.

When they put the door on my garage the supervisor said that they had done it incorrectly. The guy that did it got stuck and didn't know what happened and the supervisor came out and brought it to my attention that they had to redo it. They had no problems the second time. The prices were a little high. They did do a fine job in the end. I found a different handyman.

I have mixed reviews. Frank, the man doing the work, did a good job. However, originally the company was contracted to replace some kitchen tile, clean and repair grout in the kitchen and bathroom, replace the 2 windows, and lay down a brick path all in 1 8-hour job. They changed schedules on us once for the first visit; he could only stay a half day, and then again due to an appointment he had for the second visit. In 2 separate visits of 4-4 1/2 hours each, they got about 1/3 of the work done they had contracted for. I also think $1113.11 is awfully high for some grout and caulking work and replacing glass in 2 windows! Almost all of that was labor, for only a part of what we had originally wanted done at that price. Again, the work done was good, and Frank was professional and courteous.

Our dishwasher was leaking, badly, under the kitchen sink. Plumber said it was a cracked "drainage hose" and a brand name serviceman should do the job. When the serviceman came, he told me that the cabinets were too tight around the unit, and we need a carpenter to modify the cabinets to get the dishwasher out in order to do the repair. Then I called Mr. Handyman. Donna Marie told me that they could do everything l needed. Manfred came over and we started in the kitty yard. It's a landscaped enclosure with various levels for jumping and lounging. One of our cats recently lost a leg to cancer and we needed some additional levels so that he could get around. Manfred talked this through we me and offered great ideas. I had extra outdoor carpeting that covers the levels and he took it with him so he could build them at home and install them when he returned. They turned out great, and I'm having him back to do more. He modified the cabinets, fixed the dishwasher, fixed 4 built-in drawers (original - from the 1940's), built and installed a new floor inside the large drawer that holds garbage and re-cycled trash, and several other smaller things that needed to be done.

Overall, it was a positive experience because their conflict resolution skills are better than any company I've ever dealt with. They are extremely honest and professional. Definitely on the expensive side.

The only problem with this company is their high prices. Too bad, but the only time I think of calling them is during a time crunch, I had a very short turnaround time to get a rental property ready for occupancy. They are usually available on short notice unlike a lot of other more reasonably priced handymen who have a 2 to 3 week lead time. But they get the majority of the stuff done properly and have a wonderful attitude and are clearly competent so that makes parting with a big chunk of change a little less painful. I am very grateful that such a company exists that is reliable and can be counted on to get the job done properly and on short notice.

I made up a list of items t o be done and Manfred followed it.

Technician took too long removing broken tiles but still damaged good tiles around broken tiles. He should have better tools to remove broken tiles. He should also carry grout with him so that he could compete the work in one trip.

Ed wired the range hood so the extension cord went through the inside of cupboard and was hidden from view. The new dish washer was a real pain because my water pipe from faucet to washer was too short for the new appliance. Ed had to run out to Home Depot and purchase a longer one. Because that cost me more $, he didn't charge me for removal of the old dish washer. He cleaned up really well, too.

The gentleman did a very nice job installing the trim kit. It was a difficult job as the cabinets had been glued, stapled, and nailed tightly. The workmanship was very good. He was very neat and polite. He was unable to finish the gutter cleaning because his ladder was not tall enough (we have a very high roof). He cleaned what he could and left everything neat and clean.

Ed came out and was excellent. They are $105 per hour. If you have a lot of jobs and you want it done right, call them. They have a lot of what they need on their trucks.

Ed did an excellent job and was done sooner than I thought. I liked the Angie's List credit coupon also!

The people in the office were super nice and very competent. They even called me once all of the work was completed to make sure I was happy with the work. The actual service man flaked twice which the company compensated me for.

I thought he was a really hard worker. He spent many hours taking his time and doing the project right. The reception is excellent. He ran the wires in every room I needed them. I felt he really paid attention to detail.

I did not hire them and would never do so. The prices are outrageous! They actually wanted $1,000 for this small amount of work. There was no way to justify such a cost. I actually found a family friend who was able to do the work for me.

The person that did the work was very nice and he worked for about two hours. The molding looks like it was installed by professionals. I was very pleased with him and the service he provided.
