Henrik did an excellent job from start to finish! He explained beforehand what he intended to do - go under the house and construct a vent from the dryer to the outside since the previous vent had ompletely disintegrated. He was done within two hours, everything cleaned up and dryer put back to original position. We will definitely call Mr. Handyman again when we have projects around the house that are too big for us to handle.

My experience with them was great! The gentleman who came out arrived on time, was personable, and did everything he said he would do. Also, the work itself looks beautiful.

I asked Leon to do certain things, clean out the dressing rooms and shower in the back yard near the pool, replace the air flow stop for the dishwasher, set up the umbrellas and lounge chairs for the summer, adjust the side gate so that is opens properly, etc. He did almost everything I asked. He had to buy some tools and equipment for the repairs. He was gone a really long time on my payment time. I had to call the operator at Handyman to locate him and he returned right after I called. That was my only compliant. Overall, he did a good job, nothing that has to be redone. One omission was to clean out a rat infested room in the back garden. I thought he or his partner had done it but discovered this week that it was unfinished. The only reason I won't use them again, as the work quality was fine, is the price. Way too high. They were good. The service was totally completely satisfactory.

They did a very good job but it was very expensive. My experience was fine. It took a little longer than we thought and he kept coming back to work on the project. He got the job done and it turned out fine. I would use them again, but only if it were urgent.

They gave me an estimate and a quote. They followed up couple of times, but we were getting some speculate quote so we didn't do anything at that time. Their estimate was for $5000. It was to do a custom book shelf with a ladder. They were prompt and they did their work. They were responsive.

They were excellent. He was very good. Their service was very good. They were great. They were very good and we would use them again for anything for the service they give. The technician that handled it was good. They did the job in a timely manner and everything was fine. There were no complaints about it. Their price was okay. I think they underestimated the price for the job they had to do. We didn’t have to pay more because they underestimated the cost of the job. The technician that we had was very good. There were a lot of different people but the young man that came did a great job. He was very good. We would use their services again in the future.

We were very pleased. They showed up on time, did the work well, and cleaned up.

Had a list of odd jobs it had become obvious I'd never get to myself so I had Mr. Handyman come in to get them done. Nothing too complex, just some plumbing and electrical fixes, but Manfred came in and fixed everything with a speed and ease that I frankly found a little embarrassing. He probably had everything fixed in about the time it would have taken me to gather all the tools I'd need. Very friendly and professional. The confidence in their competence was worth the somewhat higher cost they charge.

We really liked the man who came - he was friendly and professional. He explained everything carefully. He examined the jobs we wanted done and gave a new estimate (as opposed to the one estimated over the phone), and we immediately started trimming some of the jobs we planned to have done to save money - what we thought was going to be around 500 was suddenly looking more like 1000-1400. Once we trimmed some of the jobs, he did the remaining work well and quickly. HOWEVER. $110/hour is too much for handyman work (and that's their set rate)!! Not to mention that the hour of him looking around and creating the new estimate was considered work time and cost us 110 bucks. So be it. We're fine with the work he did (we have no problem with the technician - he was great) , but next time I'll use a handyman who works on his own, so that a large company's overhead isn't worked into the price.

Contacted the office of BH Handyman and they scheduled a time for one of their handymen to come out to the house. The handyman they sent was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He gave me confidence that the information he was giving was accurate, allowing me to make an informed decision on how to proceed. I do think, however, they are on the high side of the ledger when it comes to their fees. I will consider them in the future.

They are wonderful. I have planned for them to come again. I spent $1600 on that work. They could not improve. They were on time, professional, told me what they were going to do and cleaned up the next day.

The service was great. The handyman who came to do the work explained everything he would do and came up with a nifty solution for the electrical wires to expedite the work. The pane replacement was of excellent quality. I would hire this company again, but would see if I could buy the supplies myself, as there is a charge for the time spent to get the supplies, as well as a markup on supplies.

Arrived exactly on time. Gave me a price in writing after checking the work to be done. He needed an extra long ladder so he went and got one then returned promptly. Did a great job.

Repairman came within 24 hours of calling and assessed and repaired the problem within the time that he estimated. The work was performed in a proffessional manner. Everything was clean afterwards. It was a very pleasant experience.

Everything went well, but it took a very long time for one outlet because the home is quite old. This added to the cost considerably.

we first had a consultation where we shared our design ideas and he provided his thoughts. we had later contact where we exchanged ideas. we eventually came to a design that we were all happy with. when he started working he had good attention to detail and high quality. we also felt he was honest. ultimately we were very happy with the work and although the prices seemed a bit high, if we had gone with someone cheaper i don't know if we would've received the same quality work.

Our experience with them was favorable. We spent about $1000 on that work and we thought that it was reasonable. They showed up when they were supposed to, did good work and saw through the completion without delay. They generally did good work. We would tell other members that we think that they can be trusted and their prices are reasonable.

He showed up on time, was fast, funny, and knew his his business well. Great guy.

This location of Mr. Handyman was supposed to arrive at my house between 11 AM and 1 PM to assess my kitchen cabinets and give me a bid on some repair work that was needed. At 10:50 AM they called and said they wanted to give me a "heads up" that their rep would be at my house between 3 and 4 PM. It's bad enough that they did not meet their commitment but to call 10 minutes prior to their possible arrival time really was outrageous. They certainly knew long before 10:50 AM that they were not coming as per our agreement. In my opinion, the way the company handled me is a "red flag" as to how their business operates.

He arrived on time, was extremely courteous, and highly respectful of my property and possessions. He had been doing handyman work since his college days and was very competent at all tasks required. Although their fees seem high, the work was done so well that I would definitely use them again. Unless you request a different person, the same handyman will come each time--a real plus for continuity!

Sometimes the best example of the integrity of a company is how they handle situations that went a bit wrong. After a very long bathroom remodel (not done by Mr. Handyman), I needed our old door re-hung. Donna Marie sent out a man who was very competent but not clear about giving me a final estimate BEFORE he started the job. Nor was I told that it would be quicker and cheaper to just buy a new door and prefabricated door jam. So I had to send him to Home Depot to buy a few extra pieces of wood and some electrical covers. This drive time was part of their hourly - which isn't cheap. Plus he couldn't put the supplies on my Home Depot card as it's their policy to put supplies on the Mr. Handyman card and charge the customer a pretty hefty surcharge. I was really upset about this. And then, 8-9 hours later, he is still working on the door jam. Hanging the door was costing me close to $1,000.00 and he wasn't even done! I told him to just go and I'd have someone else finish it up. But don't let this discourage you from using this franchise of Mr. Handyman. Donna Maria called the next day to find out how it went and she clearly got an earful from me. She was very apologetic that I didn't get a clear written estimate of the time it would take to hang the old door vs. the time and cost of just buying a brand new one. Then she offered to send another guy out the following day - at no cost - to finish the door and do any small things I needed done. So even though I spent much more than I would have normally the first day, having a guy out here for a few hours for free made up for it. The work quality was excellent and their insistence that I be 100% satisfied with the work and the price and the follow up is why I will use them again. The customer service was excellent and they made it all right in the end.
