A top shelf experience. It was very easy to make an appointment, and to our amazement, they ACTUALLY ARRIVED ON TIME. The technician, Ed, was friendly and had a lot of good suggestions about how to save us money and upgrade our electrical. The repairs are perfect, the price was fair, and everything was done on a iPad, which made it all go very smoothly. Then we received a follow-up call to make sure everything went well. It was excellent.

Super professional and excellent quality. Everything from the first phone call to the work to the follow-up call was top quality. We liked the tech so much we kept adding more work. It’s very rare to get service like this from a construction company. We will definitely use them again.

The handyman arrived as scheduled and was courteous and professional. He completed the tasks I requested in a timely manner and cleaned the areas he worked in. I was pleased with his work and the attention from the staff at Mr. Handyman.

He did not come as scheduled but told me he had to take his mother in law to the hospital. He came the next day and did all the things I requested. He was pleasant, efficient and cooperative. I’m glad we found him. The man I am reviewing is Martin Trujillo.

Eugene was great. This was a challenging job, seems simple but to "get it done right" took longer than expected! He did a great job, Highly recommend "Mr. Handyman".

The patches were perfect and blend in very well with the surrounding drywall. He performed the job in a short time (about 2.5 hours). The only thing I put a "B" on is price because it was a little expensive, but I think it is worth it to have the job done well.

Hourly rate was too expensive. Very rough expandable type of estimate so essentially paying by hour and not by job! Since this was a rental unit we were not aware we needed to provide building specs from LA Building and Safety and no one asked us for them. We went by oral and written info from inspector as he inspected. Tech accidentally cut into beam supporting second story and needed to be replaced. Garage door was not hung properly by same tech(Eloy) (cut diagonally into top of door to fit and shaved off part of door on not hinged side) and I had to get another company to redo it.(Paying for new door out of pocket).Insisted that needed a 4x6 overhead beam and that it all needed to be redone for another days work.($1K) Smaller overhead beam passed. Techs worked too slowly (by the hour) and were willing to leave job not completely done without more drywall added or more mudding done. In all fairness I was not willing to pay $125. an hour for their work at the end.My son finished for me at lower cost.

The service went very well, they were very professional and I will continue using them in the future. Their pricing was a little bit but the piece of mind i get was worth it.

My technician, Dan Martin, was very punctual, professional, and efficient. He arrived early and gave me a couple estimates including worst case scenarios so I would have no surprises in case things got complicated. My shower tub’s grouting needed a thorough cleaning due to mold, water and even bugs getting in. Dan was able to remove the shower door foundation while keeping the doors in tact and thoroughly cleaned the shower door foundation, tub and put everything back with new caulking so it all looked brand new! He was very efficient with the time yet thorough in his job and updated me along the way so I knew what he was doing. Quality of work was great but definitely on the pricier side. But well worth it. I would definitely hire Mr. Handyman again in the future.

Angelo arrived on time and was neat in appearance and manner. He obviously knew what he was doing and the bars will be there forever or until the house is demolished.

I figured I'd go with this company because I had two or three days of work including some major projects to open walls and replace ceiling mounted light fixtures. I figured they'd have a big enough pool of talent. The person doing the work was great. On time. Efficient. Respectful. Knowledgeable. Hard working. Positive. And so forth. (Although, he did forget to do two things I requested, changing a screen on a sliding door and fixing a toilet paper holder.) The company is terrible. They claimed the amount they quoted as their hourly rate on the phone ($62) was double what they charged me ($124) (for which they gave me a $50 discount on $1,000 worth of hourly work; something but hardly anything). They would not give me an itemized receipt of expenses. They charged me $800 for materials that surely didn't cost more than $225 (confirmed after online research). They charged me the hourly rate to buy the items so even if they marked them up to $400 they totally gouged me at $800. I still have another day of work and will hire someone else. These guys are not to be trusted. If you do go with them read the small print and have them confirm everything in writing. They sound good on the phone and the truck looks good, but to me their logo represents bait and switch.

The person who was sent my way was extremely professional and competent. A misunderstanding occurred in pricing, but the company rectified it immediately. Highly recommend.

James fixed it quickly. He was methodical, focused and took great care in making sure that all worked well. I was relieved and impressed. Making the appointment was easy and everyone I dealt with was totally professional. It's good to know that Mr. Handyman is a company that can be relied upon.

It went fine - the work is fine - but the person took forever, left at one point to pick up jacks that were 'just down the street' and came back almost an hour later - the clock running the whole time. Since they are paid by the hour, if felt like the person was padding the time, especially since they left for equipment that they should have had on hand, considering the job was clearly defined..

The services done were superb and Johnny was professional, considerate, and came in and took care of business right away.

Bet well. Fix timely and never had a problem since it was fixed.

I scheduled the service call, emailing photos of the jobs. Customer Service rep Geoffrey called back to describe the service they would be able to provide, what procedures the tech would follow, & kept me apprised me of the tech's arrival time. He even called me the day before to ask if I would OK a 1 hour delay (instead of just showing up an hour late!) Amazing. Dan M., the tech, was professional: walked the jobs, detailed exactly what he would do, provided me with an time/material estimate. He came in ON plan time/$ budgets. He cleaned up before (laying down floor coverings, covering his shoes) and afterwards. The job ended up being a bit tricky (that old window frame was a bear) but he not only did the job but made it look aesthetically appropriate. Impressive ingenuity. His willingness to periodically update me (working in another part of the house) of his progress was most welcome. He worked tirelessly in spite of today's high temperature/humidity. And he worked rapidly. PS never ONCE did he engage in a personal cell call. Recommend Mr. Handyman HIGHLY (and the coupon was a real plus!!) ...ask for Dan M!! Photos attached are before & after. I think they did pretty good. I haven’t actually seen it, but they’re pretty good. It was a little expensive. I’ve only seen pictures. Definitely an A on responsiveness.
