Well, the handyman that came by was good but the problems I wanted him to fix were either too big, or I didn't have the right parts and he couldn't do it. For my two-hour service deal, he ended up diagnosing a problem with a leak in our roof (which I probably could have gotten a free estimate for from a roofer), and he rehung three doors. So, in the end, it guess it wasn't that great of a deal. Also, I looked at the regular price on the invoice and going through Angie's List saved me $10. Not a huge deal, but my doors work and that's good. If I use them again, I'll just have to be better prepared so I get the most out of my time.

I requested bead board to be removed and the walls repaired/ textured, so the walls could be painted (I would do the painting). The guy arrived, removed the bead board and put on a coat of something. The guy said he couldn't do any more because the coating had to dry. I made it clear I wanted him to come back to finish the job. A couple of days later someone from Mr Handyman called to see how things went. I told him the job still needed to be finished. I was then told he would find out what happened and call me back. I never received a call. After waiting a couple of weeks, I contacted another home project company and within 20 minutes of filling out my request, I had an appointment for Saturday. This guy started work the day he arrived and finished the job the following day. And he did a beautiful job too. I don't know why I never received a call back from Mr Handyman; it would have been nice to know they didn't want to finish the job, so I could have started looking for a replacement sooner.

Dan arrived on time and ready to go. He reviewed everything that needed to be done, before he began the work, which I thought was refreshing. Once he began the work he explained what he was going to do and everything looks amazing. I was very impressed with his knowledge and know how. I have setup another appointment for him to help with some other things that need to be done. Thank goodness for Mr Handyman. I think they should change their name to Mr Professional. :)

It went fine. The gentlemen that performed the service was great, but the service overall was too expensive. Over $100 / hour for handy man services is steep.

The work you had done (carpentry) should be done by someone with years of carpentry experience, and all of our technicians are craftsmen. Other than their price which thought was expensive for hanging two bath vanities a total of about 15-30 min work they were very, very good. The fellow arrived as specified, was clean and tidy, and did the work well. I'd recommend these folks but will warn they're not inexpensive.

Really great overall experience. Lewis in the office was extremely helpful, I had to add a vent to an attic opening on a deadline for an insurance policy, and had scheduled a handyman with Lewis for the day before.
Unfortunately the handyman had a personal emergency, and Lewis called an hour in advance to apologize and help me reschedule for the next day.
Again unfortunately it rained the next day! But I was able to extend my deadline and Lewis again setup a new appointment for me. Gil was punctual, friendly, professional, performed excellent quality work, and is working now on a bid for some additional work I need. I am very, very happy with this service! Thank you Mr. Handyman!!

James@MrHandyman came in and just did a fantastic job of re-tiling almost half of the shower stall in the master bath.
It just looks great, quality superb, just very, very happy with the job performed, the bid process, explaining it all,
