They were very nice about it and I have a real good impression of the company. They gave me a really good price and provide good customer service. This company works in such a way that they keep the costs down so that they are able to pass that along to customers. The estimate process was excellent.

The conversation regarding my estimates did not go well. The issue was my past use of electricity. I did not know how much that was but I explained that one of the purposes of getting the panels was NOT to continue usage at the same level (We are always turning off appliances etc) but to use more and, quite frankly, I do not know how much it would be to run the air conditioner, heat a pool and an outdoor lighting and security system in the future. Further both homes are currently not insulated having been built in the 1930's and both have original windows. I plan to make these upgrades eventually so I really did not think my past use was important. However, apparently the company will not install the panels without this info. That should be the first thing they tell you so you will not waste your time with this company. I really think an experienced company would know how many panels are needed for such a house, but apparently they do not know. Update: I was contacted by the owner and she indicated that she could send someone out for an estimate, which she did. The rep was very nice thorough and gave me an excellent and competitive estimate.

I was HIGHLY satisfied with the services I received from Equisolar, and strongly recommend this company to any homeowner who cringes at the sight of their electrical bill. Prior to the installation of solar panels at my house I was an utter skeptic: unaware of all the antics surrounding electrical energy. The staff at Equisolar was consistent in answering all of my questions, and provided me with all of the information I nedded. These people are absolute professionals!!! They are highly knowledgeable of their products and always behaved with the utmost level of respect. I never felt like I was being rushed into anything, and once I made my decision, I was amazed at how quickly my panels were installed. I definitely look forward to saving hundreds of dollars each month; the tax break I receive isn't bad either! After telling them how satisfied I was with their services, the staff at Equisolar asked if I would post a review of my experiences with their company, to which I replied with a definite "YES!"

We just completed our installation with Equisolar and we are very excited. Our sales rep Romero was the reason we signed with this company and if it wasn't for him we would not have committed to this project. He is not only informative and knows his stuff, he really is good at hand-holding and helping us skidish customers to understand that we are in fact going GREEN. Romero gave us a bid 15% lower than the previous three companies that we have met with. Not only that, we referred Equisolar to my brother-in-law (who also signed up) and Equisolar sent us a check for the referral!!!! Talk about going above and beyond!!!

My installation was completed about 4 weeks ago. Everything was awesome. The planning and attention to detail was beyond my expectations. The installation was perfect - not even visable unless you're on the roof! I'm generating enough power to supply 100% of my needs at this moment. Thanks to the owner of the company Ashley, who actually came out to my home and suggested to up the number of panels, I bought enough panels to max out the inverters so my system is 14 KW. I'd interviewed some other companies and was discussed by their high pressure sales techniques. Equisolar was straight-forward and seemed to really understand the my needs. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

To be honest, Solar was not my top priority, but my husband opted for Solar instead. He said it would save us money, big time and ultimately pay for itself. Eric, from Equisolar came to our home and laid out the options: leasing, versus purchasing the system. Although their leasing program offered a nice discount from our monthly electric bill, our goal was to eliminate the bill all together. So we opted to purchase our solar panels out right. Eric was amazing. I have to admit I am one of those annoying costumers that has a million and one questions, and Eric answered every single one of them. He came out to our home twice, and always returned my calls. As promised, when our first electric bill came we could not believe our eyes - our electric bill went from over $500 bucks (before Solar) to $130 (with Solar) in the first month! Amazing! Eric and his team took care of feeling out all the rebate info, which saved us a lot of time and headache. Yes, we are very happy that we went with Equisolar!!! Ask for Eric!

I met Ramiro a few days after setting up an appointment with the company. He came to my home and reviewed over the benefits of solar panels, like the 30% tax credit I will get, all for free. He explained it so easily! I was concerned that I would need to lease the panels, which other solar companies recommended me to do (I guess for their profit). EquiSolar mentioned that if i OWNED I would financially benefit more from it than leasing. So I was quoted for 20 panels for the almost the estimated price first given, no hidden fees were added once I said yes to the solar panels being installed. Ramiro was so nice and helpful with me, which I really appreciated. Great customer service over the phone if I had any additional questions, which I always have. Thanks Ramiro and EquiSolar. :)

The Equisolar crew were such a pleasure to deal with. I met with two other solar companies and these guys gave me the best bid. Besides that they were prompt, charming, and delivered when they said that they weregonna deliver. I tried to work with another solar company, but they were such flakes that I was turned off from the whole process. These guys took care of business and put in 16 solar panels (made in America) in a day and a half. They had excellent communication and follow up---and walked me through the rebate process with ease. They were even clean and neat and thoughtful. They did such a good job that my neighbor is now using them. Don't waste your time calling other companies, these guys are the best!!!!

I researched and sent out multiple request for quotes to different solar installers in the Los Angeles area. Within5 minutes of sending an e-mail, I got an e-mail and a phone call from Equisolar. The next day they set up a face to face meeting with my at my home to go into further details about their product. After going through multiple quotes, we decided to go forward with Equisolar because of their competitive pricing and their excellent/professional/honest customer service. The salesmen explained all aspects of the solar installation thoroughly (rebate information, installation procedure, warranty or pricing). The entire quote was sent to us in a nice package with all information included, including the equipment datasheet. He was not pushy like other companies I have spoke too. The installation went very well and exceeded all expectations. They went above and beyond as they cleaned up after themselves including making sure the area they worked at was in abetter condition then when they first started. Their installation is professional and made sure it was also cosmetically beautiful. I am glad to have found this company and will surely highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have solar installed.
