Best Quality Movers, LLC

After getting 10 bids, from highly rated firms and discount firms. we chose Best Quality Movers for our move of a 1 bedroom apartment from multiple locations in the Bay Area to New York City. They were half the price of the most expensive bid, and about 2 to 3 Thousand dollars less than most mid tier bids. The were more than $3 thousand more that the lowest bids but those had terrible reviews and seemed to risky. They were courteous and highly professional throughout. They strove to complete the move in the record time we requested. Most companies told us it couldnâ t be done and it would take a minimum of 6 weeks to complete the move. Best Quality Movers arrived on the day requested, worked until nearly midnight, always polite and down right charming. Ukrainian engineer, business owners and a Russian teacher worked side by side. They treated the furniture and precious art works, electronics with the care I would have expected from my perfectionist grandfather, with the speed and strength of world class athletes. They completed the move in two and one half weeks. Only 3 days after the wished date due to car trouble and scheduling conflicts which were not their fault. Jake the head of operations was a polite and succinct communicator throughout their journey. They completed the move in two and one half weeks when most companies said it could not be done. in less than six weeks. Another highlight is that they didnâ t change their binding bid. They naturally had to charge for packaging, shuttles, extra distance, etc. which they told us ahead of time. But, since we furnished a precise box count inventory list and a video of all the items that needed to be packaged they didnâ t change a penny from their original bid. Best Quality Movers and their team of highly qualified experts Angon, Alex, Eugene, Yuri, and Danielle and Jake lived up to their fabulous reputation. Thank you very much. I recommend this 16 year old family business for their care, team, and honesty. Moving is hard and they made it a pleasant and more convenient than could have been expected. I am impressed with the quality of service we received. Thank you!

Similar to what others have said, I received a low initial quote from Bob and Brandon. I was told that the price would be confirmed via virtual tour -- the virtual tour never happened They arrived and charged me $2.5k more than initially promised (vs $4.5k). I have the normal amount of stuff for a 1bed. When I complained to Brandon, he trumped up some additional $1k charge and offered to waive that if I signed a settlement agreement. The $1k charge was bogus and should have been in the initial price quote. They said 7-10 days to arrive and I would get 2-3 days notice. I was given less than 24 hours notice. The movers themselves were good but HQ is not. They promise a low price and then find all sorts of fees to charge you. I would not recommend using them Brandon in particular was very rude. When I called to complain about the price, he suggested that I should have had the movers unpack the items on moving day and refuse to pay. How is that an option once all your stuff is loaded on the van? Horrible service and frankly a scam

Do NOT get a virtual walk-through estimate. They will estimate 50 percent less than the amount of truck space you need. Then, they show up and the ACTUAL amount of space you need will double. At that point, you are screwed because it is moving day. The moving truck broke down two times on the way to our new home. Do NOT have them move your cars. They just subcontract it out to a broker who contracts it out to a trucking company and you cannot get anyone who knows what is going on on the phone.

I moved from Orange County to Denver. My stuff was in a storage unit. I sent pictures of the inside of the unit to get an estimate. Based on that I got a quote. And that quote got them the business. Upon arrival to the storage unit the onsite crew said the cost was to be 80% higher than the quote. NOT good. The other thing that bugged me was they could/would not tell me when my stuff would arrive in Denver. They said within the next 21 days. I expect a little more precision than that. When the goods arrived it was only two guys and they showed up at 3pm. So they were moving stuff as it was getting dark. I would say the two guys did a good job and worked hard. But it was a 3 man job. On the positive side. Nothing was taken or broken. My last 2 moves had both these problems. I give a grudging recommendation based on the fact my stuff showed up safe and sound; and the two movers were good guys who worked hard.

Great movers. Sent someone from our hometown to Hawaii to move our stuff in. Nothing broken!

Whatever you do DO NOT use this company. They are nothing but LIARS and thieves. No matter what they tell you in the beginning they will ALWAYS charge you WAY more they they say. They will NOT deliver within the 21 days as they say the are bound to, and they will try and rip you off for more and more costs that are flat out lies. Nothing but lying scumbags. Use a REAL company like Atlas, or Mayflower. Brandon the "Booker" LIES about needing Extra space and Nick at the warehouse LIES about delivery days and times and makes up whatever he wants to be able to charge you more. These guys are TRASH

I am not finished with my move with Best Quality Movers, LLC, because they are still storing my **stuff** in their warehouse in LA. However, up to this point, it has been a positive experience. Their people were careful and professional with the move. I will update this review after the completion of the move.

I hired them for a move from California to Montana in January 2021. I was very skeptical about finding a trustworthy moving company but Best Quality did an awesome job! All the staff was professional and did a great job! They stuck to the price we agreed upon, no games trying to get more. I had a great experience with them and would recommend them.

Really glad I chose this company. Extremely impressed with their customer service. I had an issue where one of my boxed was crushed. They walked me through the claims process and expedited me funds through an amount refunded. They called me multiple times to make sure everything was going smooth. I could tell they genuinely cared. Of course I wish my stuff wasnâ t broken, but how they handled the situation made me very pleased. Everything else was great. I would use again.

I was very pleased to see how professional the movers were and how reasonable the price was! Overall, I was satisfied with their work and the movers made sure none of my items were damaged. If you need to move Best Quality Movers is the company to go with!

I am writing this hoping it does not tie up the refund of my overpayment that I found in calculating my prepayments. I was told it couldnt be corrected on final payment on delivery as they had no way to contact the driver to correct the papers. REALLY! I am still awaiting my refund. I had been told from the beginning that all people were employees of BQM, but I do not consider day workers or contract drivers "company employees". I think the foreman and driver may have been employees of the company, the rest just dayworkers. Of the 5 doing the job 2 appeared to know what they were doing and worked very hard. However the 3 men that unloaded were definitely locals (from a moving company) hired for that job. Job was to be pack one day, load the next. Pickup (Pack and Load) was a nightmare with all done in one long day. Ended up not taking all furniture I had listed on inventory submitted for estimate. Wanted 3-4k more to take a few of the pieces, Insisting over cubic foot even though I had contract for 2/3 of trailer and they hadn't loaded to the half way point from what I could see. All their tape roll ends and shrink wrap cores left inside and all around outside which was a mess. Was listed as live load which should arrive in 3-4 days. Found out when loading complete, driver had another shipment to pick up. When shipment didn't show up as expected, called company to find out why delayed. Most time I called them only to receive several different stories on why shipment had not arrived. Finally arrived 10 days later. Shipment was received at other end by brother and he said that went very well. The 3 men unloading were very professional and conscientious. My brother did note that most boxes did not indicate what room they came from so all are now stored in the garage until I can open and determine where they do belong. Have now rented a truck to take the furniture left behind. Cannot express the stress this added to my move. May be fine for small local moves - I would not recommend for even that and certainly not for whole house move.

Very professional crew. Packed kitchen and china. Carefully wrapped and moved all furniture in four-bedroom home. No breakage. Everything looked great when unpacked in new home. Highly recommend. Did a super job.

Used them for moving a console table. Reasonably priced. Very professional, honest, and very responsive to calls & emails. They kept us informed right through the move. Would recommend them highly.

Alex & Jim are absolutely excellent. They arrive with a huge truck and are as efficient as possible at getting furniture packed up, out the door, and to its next location. Their pricing is competitive and very worth it. I highly recommend.

These guys were great, right on time and easy to work with. Nothing was lost or damaged and we would definitely use them again.

Just did a move with Best Quality Movers and am very impressed. I have moved a lot and Alex and his team could not do enough for me, they were fantastic. Much more than I expected and more than any other mover has done for me in the past. They took extra care not to scratch my new flooring plus reassemble my furniture, making sure everything was in place before they left. The price was very reasonable and it is by far the easiest move I have ever had. I plan on moving again in about 7 months and will be moving with Best Quality Movers and asking for Alex and his team.
