small appliance repair
+ -1 moreI told them that as the vacuum wouldnt turn on I thought it was an electrical problem. They took it into the back and after 5 minutes came and told me that the problem was a dead motor which they could replace for $250. They strongly recommended buying a new vacuum from them instead. I took my machine to another Miele center and they immediately diagnosed the problem as an electrical one and repaired it within minutes for $85. This center also checked the motor and said it was strong. I am surprised that an authorized Miele dealer would resort to this unethical behavior to sell a vacuum and certainly would never use this company in the future.
Description of Work: I took my nonworking Miele vacuum in for an estimate to repair it.
