+ -1 moreHe did a lousy job. He left wood outside and didn't put it back where it belongs. He didn't clean up after himself at all. He didn't finish the job. He was friendly.
Description of Work: He came out to vent our portable air conditioning unit.

+ -1 moreThe first time I used him, he forgot about our appointment date, so you might want to call to confirm, but he was very apologetic when he realized his mistake. After that I had no problems and used him on 2 different occasions. Also, the first time, he mentioned that he would bring his brother along, but I didn't ask about an extra charge for the two of them; it turned out to be half his price for the additional helper. On the 2nd visit, he worked alone. He was helpful and patient throughout the job, and spent some time giving me advice on options for home improvements that would have involved expensive plumbing. He was able to handle a variety of small jobs as well as some more involved plumbing jobs, and was polite and patient throughout. I would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Various odd jobs, including hanging heavy pictures and mirrors, minor drywall and paint touch-ups, kitchen faucet cleanout (due to rust), connected water heater outlet piping, and advice on dryer venting issues.

+ -1 moreNo follow through, promised to get to the project and start the work but never did. Calls went unanswered and promises of return calls were not kept.
Description of Work: I have some sheetrock, tape and texturing which needs attention as a result of a short lived water leak. Rick agreed to go and examine the project and did so. He told me on the phone that he could handle the job and we discussed adding the installation of a new dishwasher and water line to the ice maker of the refrigerator. I had my tenant call him. He never returned the call. I called and reached him and was told he had lost the tenant's phone number. I gave it to him again. He promised to call the next day. He did not. I had my tenant call him again and she left a voice recording on his phone. He did not return her call. Seems like a very nice person on the phone but does not follow through. I cannot complain of his work as I never saw it. The efffect has been to delay by weeks what should have been finished long ago.

Description of Work: He does all sorts of handyman work like sliding closet doors, a broken window and worked on my shower that wasn't installed properly. He's done all kinds of small jobs for me.
