Description of Work: Plotke came out and identified the problem with our toilets and they ended up replacing 3 toilets for us. We also purchased the toilets thru them. We've had no problem with flushing since. We also had them replace our hot water heater after talking with company that had installed it years ago.

Description of Work: I called Plotke in the morning when we discovered a leak in our old water heater. The person that answered the phone said that they could have a water heater delivered before 1:30 and the installing plumbers would be here before 2:30. The cost would be $950.00. I said please do that. The heater arrived at 12:30, the plumbers arrived at 1:30! |As they were working it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. They were courteous, |fast, and easy to talk to. I mentioned the the washing machine service faucets were old and had calcium buildup. One of the men said "We might as well replace them as long as were are here" I asked how much and he said an additional cost of the materials, $10 to $15 each. I said go ahead. |They finished quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. | |Note: no bill was given when the heater was delivered and non was given when the work was finished. | |I called the next day to get an accounting and was told the bill would be $1090.30. I asked why so high and was told that there was a labor charge of $98.00 plus material charge of $42.30. I told her that there was no mention of an additional labor charge for the faucets by the installer. After a bit of heated discussion she said the best they could do was cut the extra labor charge in half. My $950 water heater cost $1,041.30. I paid $91.30 for two threaded faucets. I think that was too much. | |The service was very good, the installation was very good, but the cost/billing was not so good. |Advice: Make sure you know the exact cost of any work done before you authorize it. |I recommend Plotke Plumbing but with reservation.

Description of Work: Moved water and drain lines for kitchen sink approx. 6 ft. around a corner for sink relocation as part of remodel. Installed the pipes in the wall through wall studs & installed a clean out for drain.

Description of Work: Called for a second opinion on a large job proactively pointed out by another plumber. Scheduled visit for Tuesday, they never showed up. I called and they said they'd call back with an update, and never called back. I can understand an oversight on the schedule but saying they would call me back with an update and not doing so, that`s no good.

Description of Work: Plotke was called to replace a leaking outdoor faucet. I thought it would be a simple seal replacement, and they replaced the whole valve. It took almost no time at all, and now I have an upgraded, non-dripping, new outdoor faucet.
