Description of Work: He did my yard once he charge $280. for a very small yard with only a front yard of 17 by 10 grass. .We set up that he would be coming every two weeks at $40. but he never came back. . HE CALLED MANY TIMES with excuses. but never show up.

Description of Work: The price that I was quoted for my yard work was more than I paid for my vehicle. I am not cheap by any means but the offer was outrageous. I fixed the sprinkler system myself for under 50.00 and they were going to charge 5,000 for a whole new system. The problem was a bad 13.00 valve. Very unreasonable.

Description of Work: Kent was very good at visualizing what everything would look like and refining it, taking into account some of the smaller details. He helped us create a beautiful balcony and patio area.

Description of Work: I used C & H Gardens Artistic Landscape & Tree Service for some landscaping, maintaining the trees and cleaning up my backyard.

Description of Work: I needed a complete redo of the large plantings in the carport, the frontyard and the backyard First C&H Landscape moved rocks and layed irrigation for the large plantings in the carport. Then they completely cleared the front yard and planted new flowering and succulent plants, along with irrigation and applying a finishing ground cover and lighting for two large plantings. The front yard looks great, and best of all it takes care of itself with timers installed for watering and lighting. Then C&H Landscape started work on the backyard - they had to remove tons and tons of small grey ugly rocks, once that was done they layed pavers; then cut out a half moon flower bed, that turned out lovely; and they rounded off the edge of the pavers to create a smooth transition to the walkway of decomposed granite that leads to a side yard with two fruit trees and multiple plants, all irrigated and lighted; along with installing two fountains and completely planting the half moon flower bed and installing ground cover and irrigation. C&H Landscape pruned and shaped a large orange tree to clear way for an interesting walkway and also trimmed and shaped a hydrangea bush. I had to leave for some traveling and left C&H Landscape to finish the job while I was gone, they did a wonderful job and were always cheerful and great to work with, the whole process was fun and turned out just as I wanted.

Description of Work: I had used C&H for tree trimming years ago at my home in Solana Beach and felt they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Then I moved and had them cut some trees at the new location. Again excellent work. But then how hard is tree trimming anyway? I spoke to Kent about a block retaining wall that was leaning and cracked. He was very professional and I could tell that he was experienced so I had him do the job. The work was better than I had expected and far better quality than work I had received in the past from other companies. Since then I have had Kent and C&H do landscaping, concrete work and tree service for my homes and business. I recently referred them to the HOA where I live and his company has solved some serious drainage problems at the property as well as tree trimming, landscaping and retaining wall issues. I can honestly say that all the Board members of my HOA and the property management company have been very pleased with the quality of all the work Kent has done for us. I definitely recommend his services.

Description of Work: C@H Firewoodis an excellent company, very prompt delivery. I ordered OAK SEASONED FIREWOOD, just before Tnaksgiving. Kent Horner returned my call promptly. I would give an excellent rating for all points on the rating chart. Quality of wood is great, cut in samll pieces for me handle, they even stacked the wood in a storage area for a small extra charge, cleand up area before they left. I will certainly call them again and refer them to clinets and friends.
